When I originally phone him an explained the problem, that I had a septic system with a mound and that sewage was backing up into my house through my floor drains in my basement. He gave me the impression that this was going to cost me a lot of money. I have known Wayne for 20 years, I work for the school district as a custodian and Wayne has been the primary plumber for all the years that I have worked there. Anyways he gave me the impression that it was going to cost a lot. But he fixed it in 20 min and advised me what I could do myself to finish the job and save myself some money. I think Wayne is honest very knowledgeable in his field and will come 24 7, which is one of the reasons he has worked with the school district so long.

An employee came to check out the situation and determined I needed a new hot water heater. He spoke with the owner, Wayne Dauwalter, and quoted me a price. I accepted it and the installation was scheduled for the next day. The new heater was installed with professionalism and was done in a reasonable amount of time. I was totally shocked when I received the invoice for the work done. It was $50 more than the quote which, sadly, I did not get in writing. I called and was told that was what was turned in for billing. I was very unhappy and was going to refuse to pay the $50, but decided to pay half. They are a great company, with a great reputation. I will definitely use them again and recommend them.

Two other A rated on angies list were called and never called back. Wayne answered the phone and got someone out there within the hour. The plumber was professional.

The work itself went well, no problems. Plumber was punctual, friendly, and polite. Later I was surprised to get a bill for $210 for 1.75 hours. I did not understand why more than 1 hour of labor. The plumber had no particular problems. Had no indication that there was more work to do than the previous 2 times. What rubbed me the wrong way was the attitude displayed when I called to ask about this. Sandy offered to reduce the bill to 1.25 hours of time ($150), and said, "If you have a problem with that, just pay us for 1 hour". She took on a disgusted tone of voice. She offered no explanation for why the plumber submitted 1.75 hours of time, or why it would be worth 1.25 hours instead of 1 hour. I told her I was hoping to reduce it to 1 hour because it was the same work as before. She just said "Fine" and hung up. Even though I got the bill reduced to a fair price, I'm not sure I'll call them again for the next clean-out.
