Description of Work: The provider removed wallpaper from our bathroom, cleaned up the walls, sanded and primed the walls, fixed a crack in the ceiling, painted the ceiling.

Description of Work: Came to my house and provided an estimate for remodeling.

Description of Work: Gave a bid for painting a bathroom with water damage. The work included skim coating, requiring more than one trip which of course adds to the cost. Paint provided by customer.

Description of Work: He is supposed to paint one bedroom and restain a stairwell and a couple of living room doors, as well as some window woodwork. He is also supposed to do some vent trim at the foot of the stairs.

Description of Work: Chris removed wallpaper and painted two rooms. Also leveled cabinet, installed toilet and faucet, fixed fireplace mantle and several other odd items needing attention. Also power washed very large deck. We plan to use him to repair some rotted deck boards and stain.

Description of Work: The following work was done: re-tile both bathroom floors; strip wallpaper on one wall, prime and paint, re-apply entire border in one bathroom; install new toilet in one bathroom; tear out existing tile in shower down to the studs, re-create (!) entire shower (tile, fixtures, etc.); re-paint that bathroom.

Description of Work: We contacted this company after seeing them in the coupon section of the most recent Angie's List magazine. We saw that they were an Angie's List award winner four times in the last six years. They were polite and courteous on the phone, and they arranged a time to come to our home, on the 8th of July. They had all of our contact information.

Description of Work: They painted the interior of our ceiling in our brand new home. They also cleaned our air vents.

Description of Work: They did a ton of work for me. Painted the entire upstairs, calking, - also painted the basement and downstairs entry and closet.

Description of Work: Brothers Contracting gave us an estimate for prepping, re-glazing, and painting our windows as well as cleaning, repairing, and repainting the foundation.

Description of Work: We had Brothers Contracting surface and paint the kitchen walls and remove 2 borders in the bedroom and paint the walls. Also, had to repair a hole in the kitchen wall. They did a beautiful job painting the walls. Had to do some spackling in both rooms and the walls turned out very smooth.

Description of Work: Met Chris a couple weeks prior to the service date to get an estimate on painting the entire interior of our 900 sq ft rental in downtown St Paul. Very professional on the phone and actually answered his phone when I called which I'm finding is becoming less common these days (I was getting irritated about leaving messages with the other businesses I contacted). Needless to say, Chris gave the best estimate out of the three companies, and better yet, he was able to get started quickly. I wanted a quick, professional completion of the project because it was a rental I was trying to turn around between tenants. He was very good at communicating what work was entailed, and estimates on supplies. Also, he was very attentive to our special requests. I even had him hang some curtain rods and change out the shower head, etc. because of the convenience and low cost he charged. Overall, I'm very happy with the outcome, and would highly recommend Chris and his staff.

Description of Work: The contractor, repaired damage to ceiling and wall from ice damage, then repainted the bedroom. Also, he painted the living room ceiling that had water stains from ice damage. In addition, unrelated he tore out the old fireplace tile and put in new slate tile.

Description of Work: My front door and many of my windows which are all hard wood were very weathered. The door needed sanding, staining and a little bit of patching. The windows needed sanding, staining, touching up and the old hardware including lift mechanisms needed to be repaired.

Description of Work: Had an existing vanity, sink, medicine cabinet, and mirror removed in bathroom and replaced with new vanity, granite countertop with back splash and side splash, faucet, drain, and mirror. Also new piping was installed. I also had a free standing kitchen cabinet attatched to the wall.

Description of Work: I had Brothers Contracting remove wallpaper in bathroom and kitchen. Also had them replace an exhaust fan in the bathroom and four light fixtures. The wall paper in both the kitchen and bath was extensive. They then painted the bathroom ceiling and walls and all the walls in the kitchen and one accent wall in the dining room. In the kitchen they moved the refrigerator and stove and painted behind them. Primer and two coats of paint were applied to all areas.

Description of Work: Painted living room, dining room, kitchen, master bedroom, 2 bathrooms, and sunroom. Took out basement bedroom walls, bar area, and laundry room that had mold damage, sheetrocked those areas and then painted the bedroom, parts of the entry area and bar area and one of the laundry room walls. They also took out the old flooring in the bar area and put down the most beautiful flooring in the bedroom and bar area. They also painted the ceilings in the living room, master bedroom, bathroom, and dining room. They wallpapered one wall of the dining room. And, before they could paint the master bedroom and one wall of the basement bar area, they had to remove a wall of glass tiles in both areas (installed by previous owner). They also but in new doors in the basement bedroom, bathroom and laundry room. I was not at home when they started painting the kitchen, but when I got home, I had them stop. The color was not what I had envisioned. They were very cool with stopping (in fact, they thought the color wasn't right), and trying another color, which I love. They took away all debris and the window treatments in the sunroom and main entry, as I requested. Unfortunately, after the tornados here a few weeks ago, we got heavy rains. A couple of weeks later, I noticed that the floor of the basement bedroom was buckled. We had drain tile installed, by another company, last fall to prevent flooding in the furnance room and basement bedroom. Brothers Contracting came out and removed the new bedroom floor, at no additional cost, so we can have testing as to the cause of water under the floor.

Description of Work: The work I needed was minor wall repair, prep and painting. This was my mothers town home that I needed to get ready for sale. There was some minor water damage to the ceiling from ice dams this past winter that also needed repair. All of the work I had done was of a spot repair type in multiple rooms and required the individual attention to detail that Chris gave and I was very pleased with.
