 + -1 moreKris has come on four separate jobs to my house and has done a great job on all of them. He came and gave me an estimate for a trim job that I tried to initially have done on the cheap by someone on CL. Big mistake as it was more technical than I thought. Kris fixed the other guys mistakes and finished the job ahead of schedule. He then came back and installed a pullout garbage can in the spot where a trash compactor had previously been. Kris also gave me some great tips on various projects I had going. He was always on time, brought all the appropriate materials and cleaned up. I would definitely recommend Kris to anyone who needs handyman work done. He's busy (which is a good sign) and does this for a living (also a good sign). Don't skimp like I tried to - just pay a professional and have it done correctly the first time.

 + -1 moreWhen Kris had come the first time, he did the work in the amount of time estimated. On the second visit, the estimate in time was not enough to do all the work (minus the chair repair). I agreed to the going over so that he would not have to return to do those items. He did a great job of painting the front outside door. Made sure all was protected and did several coats. He told me exactly what he was doing, so I would understand. The painting of two small walls was done with out any issues. And I am very pleased with all of his work. I will have Kris return when I have another list of items to be done. Kris is friendly, polite, great with the dog. I can't say enough about his work.
Description of Work: This was the second visit of Kris. He came in April and did some work for me and that was done efficiently and neatly. He returned June 30 to paint a couple of small walls, the front door and to paint the caulking he had done earlier (that was the way it was to be done). He also put a screw into a chair hoping that it would hold. The chairs are very old so no guarantees, which I understood.

Description of Work: General repairs in bathroom: replaced the inner workings of the toilets to stop them from running intermittently, installed (5) faucets in baths and kitchen. Removed broken garbage disposal and installed a new one we had purchased. Installed dimmer switches in kitchen as well. He completed a lot of work in 8 hrs.

 + -1 moreHe responded quickly to my voice mail. And once I bought my sink, disposal and faucet, I called him to schedule. I called him previous to buying my sink to see if this was something that he could do. I contacted a plumber first, and yes, the plumber could do it, but he would have charged more than twice as much per hour. So, once I got the sink, I called Kris to schedule. He scheduled me for his soonest opening. He showed up on time, did the work perfectly. He cleaned up very nicely too. He also put new bulbs in my outside security lights which are too high for me to get to. He is the nicest guy and a pleasure to do business with. He has a great sense of humor, and I feel very comfortable with him in my house.

He was efficient and creative. He has a neat sense of humor. He cleaned up thoroughly at the end. We will use him again for misc. projects as they arise.

 + 0 moreWe had a den door we were having trouble with. It was a French door that did not have the traditional latch but rather a "ball system" that would snap into place when the door was closed. We thought about putting on a traditional latch but the Handymen said it would be better to adjust the ball so that the door would open with ease. That recommendation undoubtedly saved us a lot of money and hassle. Very friendly and professional. We'll definitely call them again if needed.
Description of Work: The guys were punctual when they came to adjust a door to the den. The made some recommendations and fixed the problem. We would definitely use them again.

Kris responded to the email and we set up a time for him to come over to look at the items I wanted done and give me a quote. I felt the quote was very reasonable and set up a time for him to do the work. He returned the next week with another guy and completed the work as requested, for the agreed upon cost. It was all done great and I would certainly use this company again.
Description of Work: I needed someone to replace a couple of light fixtures (one in a bathroom, the other outside), replace some broken lattice on the deck , and replace a screen door on the screen porch.

 + -1 moreKris contacted me when the work was done and came to my place of employment to collect his payment. We appreciated his fine work and the timeliness of the completion. We will contact him again whenever we need handyman work as he lives closeby in a neighboring community!
Description of Work: Kris Rydmark met at our home to ck. out our 3 bathrooms and the area for the replacement of the toliets in each one. We looked over the floor as to how the new toliets would fit into the spot of the 23 years old toliets that were there. He explained his charges and that he teams with a co-worker if the job demands heavier lifting as ours did. He made suggestions as to where we could buy new toliets and we chose to go with the Ferguson Company. We also discussed the choice of more energy-efficient models with seating at a 16 1/4 " ht. and an oval bowl. We went to their showroom and picked out 3 new toliets, armed with the knowledge that Kris had suggested. They were delivered to our garage and/Kris and his co-worker came to our home. They removed the 3 old models and carried them out to our garage. . . unpacked the new models and carried them up to our bathrooms, installing them with a fine bead of caulking around each base! We are so excited about the appearance and performance of each one!
