JMJ Painters

For the bare minimum of getting paint on walls, great. Even coverage, smooth application. Finishing touches? Terrible. The logic behind which out covers they actually took off vs just painted into the wall makes my head hurt. They covered the wood floors, but put nothing down over the carpet. I've got paint overspray left on nearly every surface. But worst of all is they left my unit unlocked overnight with EVERY light on (including the oven light), the thermostat got knocked past 90 so it was boiling, and the water had gotten left on in the tub. Not full bore, but a steady stream. All night. To compensate for such an obscene oversight, they took $350 off of the upcharges for the skim coat needed on a couple parts of the bathroom wall. Then a quite condescending gesture was made by the sales guy. He came over after everything was done to bring me a bag of chocolate and a beanie baby key chain as an apology. Overall experience was really poor for the money spent and I should have just done the work myself.

Although we did not hire JMJ, they were responsive, informed, competitive and professional. I would not hesitate to hire them in the future!!

Fantastic. Respectful, easy to work with, and skilled painters who also didn’t charge and arm and a leg for what we needed done.

Over all good people, respectful and timely. I am giving a 3 star review due to some of my main requests not being honored. I was very strict about not leaving old paint chips around and that still happened. And I asked that my plants not be damaged. It's been over a year and the plants have recovered, but it was still frustrating. They missed a few things, like replacing window caulk they removed. and the underside of a window that I had asked about. Again, nice people to work with. They did quality enough work for the price.

Exceeded my expectations! They were thorough and professional. Also within the budget! Still getting compliments a year later!

If you need your house painted, I cannot recommend JMJ Painters highly enough. They were fast, efficient and even did work that I didn't think they would. I have a bay window that was installed many years ago and the tar from the shingles had run down over the aluminum facing. They cleaned the tar off of the facing and painted it to match and it looks awesome! 5 stars is not enough.

It went very well, and we enjoyed working with JMJ from start to finish. A highly professional experience all the way through the project.

JMJ was professional and had a project manager who connected with us almost everyday of the project. They were neat, considerate, friendly and helpful. I would recommend them for painting projects anytime!
