+ -1 moreMy family has been using Jack Brancel for 20 years for projects ranging from a complete addition to a house to small home improvement projects. This time we had Jack remove a wall and replace a closet in our garage that contains a furnace. As always, Jack is very timely and exceptionally neat. Each day he cleans up and you would never know he was there. Also on this job he was able to come in about $1,300 under budget because he found out he didn't need to do some major work on the ceiling to patch the hole were the removed wall once stood. Needless to say, that was great news. Jack is the type of carpenter you hire again and again because he does great work, is reasonably priced and you can trust him to do the right thing.
Description of Work: Jack removed a wall, installed a half wall in it's place, patched the ceiling where the wall used to be and prepared everything for paint. He also removed a very poor framing/door installation our previous home owner completed in our garage surrounding a furnace and replaced the wall, installed a new door and insolated the new furnace closet.

+ -1 moreJACK WAS VERY FAST; CAME OVER ONLY A DAY AFTER I CALLED TO LOOK AT IT, THEN DID THE WORK THE FOLLOWING DAY. CHARGES WERE VERY REASONABLE.
Description of Work: JACK PATCHED IN A HOLE IN THE SIDE OF OUR HOUSE FROM A WALL AIR CONDITIONING UNIT WE HAD TAKEN OUT. HE PUT IN SIDING, NOT JUST ENOUGH TO PATCH IT, BUT TO SPAN BETWEEN WINDOWS SO IT WOULDN'T BE NOTICEABLE. THEN HE PATCHED IN A PIECE OF FLOORBOARD WHERE WE TOOK OUT A FURNACE GRATE. VERY SOLID.
