+ -1 moreChuck's sons work for him, and they were cheerful, hard workers, even in the very warm weather we've been having. They did the exactly what I wanted, at the price we discussed, no problems, no issues. I would hire them again, and recommend them to others looking for similar work.
Description of Work: Chuck's Excavating regraded our gravel driveway, brought in a lot of rock, and also graded a portion of our yard for a sports field. It's a pretty long driveway.

+ -1 moreExcellent. I put a call into Chuck and he kept returning calls until we made contact. He came out, estimated a price range for the work, gave me options, and gave me a date he could start. He had the utilities marked to avoid any problems. He showed up exactly when he said he would, with two of his adult sons working with him. They worked quickly and thoroughly, checking with me every step of the way to make sure of my wishes. They finished the job and the price was right in between the range. I was as satisfied with this job as I have ever been with anyone!
Description of Work: Excavation around house to prevent water in basement. Removed rock, shrubs, debris, roots, pavers, weeds -- everything that made a mess! Removed all debris, put in window wells, graded top soil away from house, raked and swept up after themselves!
