+ -1 moreThe original call was for a furnace checkup in preparation for the winter. It turned into the furnace needing to be turned off and disabled until full repairs could be made two days later as the furnace was putting out alarming amounts of carbon monoxide when turned on. The heat exchange was cracked as was the collector box. The heat exchange was still under warranty, so there was no cost for its replacement. George ordered the parts and worked around my schedule as I dealt with a family emergency. He had to work in tight surroundings due to the location of the furnace in the basement. The work took approximately 3 hours. I'm very pleased to once again have a safe and efficient furnace that operates safely.
Description of Work: Replaced heat exchange, collector box and performed a flame rod test.
