Description of Work: Why did I choose Vpc Framing LLC? We called at least 10 contractors on both Angie’s List and Craig’s List to receive a quote for building our deck. From the moment we called Vpc Framing, we knew Vpc Framing was going to be the contractor that we wanted to build our dream deck. The distinction was not in the quote because all the contractors’ asking prices were surprisingly similar to one another, but the distinction was their expertise and assurance that we were going to get our dream deck. When they came over to our house to get measurements and survey the landscape, they asked us about our dream deck and suggested a few improvements to make the deck more aesthetically appealing. For instance, they suggested to either shifting or extending the deck if we did not want a post to block a window. Also, he provided us with a visual of where the footings and the staircase are going to be placed. We were appreciative of all their judgment and recommendations. How professional were Vpc Framing LLC? We made a major mistake by ordering our decking materials from Home Depot. When Vpc Framing came out in late September to begin work, they immediately realized that Home Depot did not deliver everything that they needed to get started. They were very professional in providing us with a list of missing materials and generously picked up missing boards and posts from a lumberyard. They came back three additional times because Home Depot kept messing up our orders. Throughout the entire process, they were very understanding and professional about the situation and always worked with us in getting Home Depot to order the right materials. Furthermore, they updated their progress to us via text messaging and phone calls.
