Top Notch Fence

Top Notch is right!!!! The team at top Notch - knocked it out of the park with rework walk through, educating and listening to plan details and needs! The professionalism started right at the bid process-explaining the who and what drives their team to excellence, and high quality assurance of work done right, even going the extra mile with our neighbors by repair and adjustments, and add-ons that relieve the neighbors expectations by going the extra mile to insure there experience with a neighbor getting a fence was met with the I do that because it's the right thing to do at no charge! So greatfull to this "Top Notch" crew - oh it was done in a day with excellent clean up!!!

I do not generally write reviews unless I'm swayed towards disappointment or extreme satisfaction. To the readers, this review is completely on the satisfaction side of the fence. No pun intended, but fits!!!! LOL I am not affiliated in any fashion with Top Notch Co. and only submit a review as a customer with my opinion. I hired Top Notch in 2004 to build a cedar fence that was 371 linear feet with 52 posts containing three gates. I only point this out as it wasn't a small job in 2004 and I still remember the numbers with the big job it was! That cedar fence was beautiful and lasted two decades providing a place for the pets to hang out and gave us home owners privacy to a path that exists beyond. Fast forwarding 20 years, the old fence did its job and needed to be replaced. I called Top Notch and requested a bid to which I received within a day online. I'm not a first bid kind of guy, so I requested over 7 bids from various companies in the area. Several companies came out, showed off products, and did the normal walk of the property. Being an over researcher, I weighed all my options with cost, materials, and credentials. I hope I can tell you to look no further with the research I've already done, but Top Notch Co., is TOP NOTCH!! I requested them to come out for the final bid to make sure the online quote was legit and the numbers never changed. The crew was extremely friendly, hard working, overly punctual (showed a day early), and left no trace behind. The original owner of the company (Rob) came out to greet me as well after last seeing him 20 years ago on the first fence. Thanks to Top Notch for a job done extremely well! -Dave

Perfectly. Rob and his team are professional, thorough and they do great work. I would recommend them to anyone looking to add a fence to their property. I will also be hiring them if I need more fencing.

Awesome! Rob was so easy to work with. Communicated well and was willing to work around some other work we were having done in the yard. His crew was very nice to talk to and respectful of my property (as well as my neighbors). It looks great and my neighbors also think it is a beautiful looking fence. I would hire them again in a blink, everything went very smoothly. I did get a couple of quotes from other companies but I appreciated Rob's style and how quickly he got back to me. He was right in line with others. I did have one company give me a bid that was higher and I had scheduled it with them but when I checked their Angie's reviews they were terrible. Crossed them off and found Top Notch and I am very happy I did.

Rob answered our text and phone calls immediately. He was quick to respond with a quote. The whole process went smoothly from the quote to the survey to installation. Our project was completed on schedule by Michael and Michael Jr. (great guys). We would recommend Top Notch Fence Co to anyone without hesitation.

Said they would come out and give me an estimate, never showed up. I called a week and a half later and left a message and they never returned my call....take them off your list!!!!!

Top Notch Fencing came in with one of the lowest bids. Rob from T.N.F. told me exactly what they would be doing with the project and when they would start. They did a very nice job with this project. Everything went as they said it would and it looks great. Top Notch’s fee was lower than most but their work was not at all sub par

I am so pleased with the new fence that was installed. Rob was very prompt and knowledgeable. He kept me informed about when work was to be done, very professional. The work crew did such a great job, Mike's workmanship at building my fence was exceptional. I highly recommend this company.

Robert was prompt, helpful, and knowledgeable. We got a golden retriever earlier than expected and he was able to put up the fence in December due to warmer weather. His employee did an amazing job. The fence was installed yesterday and we are extremely happy. I'd highly recommend Top Notch. They were the most competitively priced of the 4 quotes we recevied.

Bob was very responsive. I called on a Saturday & he stopped by the same day & e-mailed the estimate the following day. He was confident & recommended the best option where to put the fence. He offered to do the project within the following week. We had another estimate that was going to do the job in 4 - 6 weeks & the price was over $400.00 than what Bob gave us. The guy who came to do the work was very nice. He did a through job. We were very pleased with Top Notch Fence. We'll defiantly hire them again!

We had a 4' cedar picket fence installed. It's well constructed and has a great aesthetic that's perfect for our house and neighborhood. The work was done quickly and professionally over the course of two days for our small 40x40 area. I would definitely recommend Top Notch to other folks looking to have some nice fence work done. Be patient with Rob, the owner, he has his heart in all the work that his teams so, but you might need to keep him honest on scheduling and updates. He was never put out any time I reached out to him, and I appreciated his candor and realness when we had a slight scheduling mixup. His work is great and the price was very reasonable for the quality of the product his guys produced. 10/10 would recommend.

Rob, the owner, gave a competitive bid and his crew were professional and timely. Most importantly, a few weeks after the work had been completed and the check had been cashed, I reached out to Rob to fix a few minor details (then left for the BWCA for a week). On my return, all was taken care of. The service exceeded my expectations and he’ll have my future business.

We never heard back. I emailed and called. However, we did receive a prompt response and visit from another Angie’s List fence company and are moving forward with them.

Rob and his crew were fantastic. All of the communication and meetings prior to the work being done were all on-time and great. We live in an association and needed to get the fence approved and Rob was great at supplying additional information and drawings for us to submit. His crew made sure to run things by us before they did the work so it felt very collaborative. We've received a lot of compliments on the fence we'd recommend Top Notch Fence to anyone. Thanks, Rob!

Our experience with Top Notch was great. We have a small city lot with uneven grade and a detached garage excavated into a hill. Rob worked with us to develop a plan that would work for the site. Unfortunately, I wasn't clear on the exact boundaries of the lot, and when Rob's crew came out to set the posts after the survey was complete, we had to make changes on the fly to keep the fence on the lot. Rob's crew made great suggestions to accommodate all of the oddities of the lot, and we ended up with a beautiful fence that allowed us to make the most use of our yard. I don't think we could have asked for a better fence company to work with, because even when issues came up, they were able to adjust the plan on the fly.

He said he was going to stop by on Friday(a month ago) to give us an estimate--never showed up--never called.

The project went well. The quality of the cedar product and the quality of workmanship was excellent. The crew was friendly and cleaned up after finishing the project. I received quick response when initiating the owner to come out to offer a bid.

No response pull them off Angie's List. They are not responding I have sent 2 emails with no response. If they are too busy they should pull themselves off.

Very professional and knowledgeable. Price was also reasonable. Would definitely use them again.
