Dave was wonderful to work with throughout the entire process. He was accessible, on time, knowledgeable in answering my numerous questions, and very accommodating to my needs. He made sure the work was completed before we left on vacation and kept me up to date with the process. His workers did quality work and a spectacular job with the cleanup. NOT giving Dave and his company a call (for at least an estimate) would be doing a disservice to yourself!

Dave delivered exactly what he said he would, when he would. He was the most competitive bid we received of several. He is very easy to get a hold of, and calls back promptly if a message is left. I felt that his proposal was straight forward and honest. The dumpster arrived the AM of our project and was removed the same day the project was completed. The crew was extremely efficient and professional. I couldn't believe how quickly they worked and how well they cleaned up! I would definitely recommend D S Bahr, and would not hesitate in having them do additional work!

Excellent work, punctual crew, all requests handled. In hindsight I would have liked to discuss the fascia, soffet, and gutter aspect more as I might have picked differently as the new overhang seems not to keep rain as far from my house as the old overhang setup did.

Dave and his excellent group of guys reroofed our home, added a skylight, applied aluminum soffits/fascia in March. We were so impressed with his professionalism that we got an estimate for our deck stairs. He initially said it would be early May but he's so busy that he didn't get to it until late June. Dave was kind enough to keep in touch with us to let us know he hadn't forgotten us. When the work was done, we were unhappy with one of the handrails. His guys came out the next day to fix it. Longer wait than we would have liked but we are happy with the final product. We highly recommend Dave Bahr.

From the moment I contacted DS Bahr I have been very happy! They answered phone calls promptly, came to my home to give a quote ASAP & got me on the schedule ASAP. Miles gave the bid & was prompt, courteous & helpful in explaining process, the bid, etc. I contacted Dave Bahr when I knew I was ready to accept the bid. He was very nice & added me to the schedule. Just a few days before they arrived to do the garage I called Dave to tell him about a problem we were having with our gutter & asked if they could do gutter work. He said, "No problem". During installation I had two questions and needed to consult with Dave on the way the flashing looked. Instead of Dave getting flustered or talking to me over the phone he was kind enough to come over to my house during the install. He did not for a moment hesitate about coming to see the concern first hand nor did he ever make me fell like I was being a hassle. The DS Bahr crew is great to work with.

DS Bahr did an excellent job and totally exceeded my expectations! I have a VERY large roof and DS Bahr was 1500-2000 dollars cheaper than other companies. The dumpster arrived the day of the job and was removed from my property the day after. Wow! Most people have dumpsters sitting in their driveways for weeks. Not with DS Bahr. Also, the crew was very professional. The foreman was very helpful and asked me several times if I had questions or concerns. Dave Bahr was very friendly and listened to our needs. What's more is how many times does a contractor always answers his cell phone when you call. I'm very pleased with my service and only wish all contractor experiences that I've had were this good.

They did a very good job. Everything was good, the price and the work. They gave a 5% discount.

This is a top company to do business with. Dave is very professional. He returns phone calls, and gives prompt updates on the job. I liked that his bid was a firm bid without any add ons; a situation that I have had with others. Dave was outstanding on the bid process and documented carefully what the job needed. He was prompt in getting me the plans so my association could approve them and he used sound construction principles. His crew did a very professional job and cleaned up the job site thoroughly. I also liked that Dave came to the job site often to followup on the work of the carpenters. I plan on doing business again with this company. If you want a job done without hassles, this is the company.

My roof was leaking and I was trying to get estimates to get it fixed, but Dave for Bahr's construction told me that the roof had to be replaced totally and the fix was not worthed. I have also gotten estimates from other roofers and they all said my roof had another 8-10 years of life and a fix should be sufficient. So I ended up not going with him.

The company was extremely professional, beginning with our meeting with Dave Bahr and continuing through the actual work and the final meeting with Dave to go over the finished project. The crew was courteous and quick. They did a good cleanup job when the roof was finished. We were very satisfied with the work they performed and the cost of the project.

The project was started and finished according to the stated timetable. The workers were careful and respectful of our property and were most pleasant to have around. The worksite was kept tidy during the project and was thoroughly cleaned up at the end. We were especially pleased with the excellent craftsmanship and quality end result. It was a pleasure to actually receive what we were promised and we would highly recommend this company.

We did hire D.S. Bahr to return to put on a gutter & drain spout and had the same excellence. We will hire them again when we build our three season porch.

I was generally very pleased with David Bahr, his crew and their workmanship. David communicates well and listened to my concerns on specific points. He offered constructive suggestions and worked with me to plan various aspects of the job that were a little out of the ordinary. He and his crew performed the work on schedule and did a good job of cleaning up afterwards. Lastly, the price was as low as or lower than the two other companies that gave me bids.

Dave and his crew completed the skylight installation, tear-off, repairs and re-roof in the first day. The second day his crew completed the soffits and fascia. So far, so good. Our roof is not leaking anymore, and everything looks wonderful. Dave and his crew cleaned up our property so well you couldn't even tell they were there. We liked his services so much, he is coming back soon to add stairs to our deck. We really appreciate his attention to detail.

It was good from estimate to finished project. The workers were polite and no noisier than any one who is roofing a house! They cleaned up as they worked and put all waste and debris in their dumpster. The owner was available by cell phone during the job and dropped by as well. We recommend them highly.

Meticulous, conscientious, and fast. The old stove had to go: the chimney was shot. Condensation, snow and rain collected where there ought to have been fire, and then slowly seeped through every crack and crevice to drip onto the hearth. Barnacles appeared....mold erupted among the tiles. And, the constant drip ... drip ... drip. Work took less than a day, except the plaster ceiling required several coats of mud. Everyone took the time to make sure their part of the job was done right. Experience and confidence showed. Follow-up and coordination with metal recycler was excellent.

Dave was very responsive and reliable. The crew that did the work also arrived on schedule. The estimate provided was very reasonable compared to some others I received and there were no surprise increases as the job progressed. I think the re-roofing work was done well - the roof no longer leaks. A bit more care could have been taken by the crew and a little more attention paid to details. For example, they leaned ladders up against the garage and scraped up the paint. They also did not properly replace some of the roof drainage devices. They broke a spout from a gutter - granted it was old but not broken when they started. Dave did come back and promptly replaced this after I called him about it. At my request, they replaced some of the rotting boards on the deck. I felt like I had to closely monitor to ensure all the rotten boards were replaced. It got done but it could have been done in a more esthetically acceptable way. Overall a good job at a reasonable price.

Dave Bahr is great to work with. He returns calls promptly, shows up when he says he will, and either does the work himself or personally inspects it before accepting payment. Dave explains things clearly. He even helped me diagnose a problem with a previous gutter installation. I have a big project planned for the back of my house, and Dave will be the one to do it.
