I called this local A/C company to ask if they had a 35/5 capacitor for my condensor control panel. It is a common repair part all service trucks usually have in their on board inventory. I was promptly and pleasantly greeted and the phone was given to "Tom" to field my request. Tom informed me that unless I was a contractor with a license and insurance information I could not purchase the part from them due to his insurance company. I then told them I might have my contractor call them and said goodbye. I didn't want to have my contractor drive 50 minutes to bring me a capacitor. However, I had purchased parts from this company a few years in the past with no problems so I contacted them first. I could buy off the shelf or order this fairly common capacitor on line without even giving them my drivers license! I also doubt that a precise itemized list describing each and every capacitor sold by this business is being supplied to the insurance company. If it is, my opinion is that they need a different insurance company. I met my contractor half way, bought him lunch, had a nice conversation and was also discussing how we had never heard of such a situation as Tom described. I am disappointed in this company for trying to make me jump through unnecessary hoops to buy a simple cap. I have the government for that! Just tell me you don't sell parts! My A/C works fine again, but not because TM Johnson helped me out. When I might want to hire a company for a furnace replacement, because I just don't want to do it myself, I'll most likely look elsewhere. I might find a company that wants to help me...

The secondary heat exchanger was cracked and would have to be replaced (the part was under warranty not labor). That would leave us with a repaired 10 year old furnace. The route we took was a new furnace same brand as the old one (Amana high efficiency). We are pleased.

2 workers to install. Kept carpet clean during install and clean up after themselves.

I continue to use them. If you find somebody good, don't change. Even if you pay a little more, in the long run you are going to come out ahead.

We would use them again in the future.

They are really a top flight company. They have A+ service and they do a really great job.

They are very good. It is expensive, but convenient. Several years ago on Halloween night, I came home from work and the house was really cold. I called them and they sent someone that same night. They got it working, but by the next morning it was not working again. They sent someone out again and found a crack. They brought five electric heaters for me to use for free. We had not even bought anything from them at that time. We ended up buying the new furnace from them. It was after 5 pm when he called and he came out with the heaters that same night. I'll pay for service, so we have used this company for a long, long time.
