+ -1 moreThey came out the same day I called. (It was a very cool spring day after all!) They got right to work explaining what they were doing as they worked. After work was completed they told me what steps I should take to keep my furnace operating properly until their next suggested routine visit. Flush the drain line every two months or so. Change the air filter at 6 to 12 month intervals (its a 4 inch thick HEPA type). It all made sense!
Description of Work: Our furnace had a puddle of water under it. I suspected a leak in the foam gasket of the recuperative heat exchanger. They tightened the screws holding the gasket in place. That fixed the immediate problem. Since they were familiar with this make and model of furnace they also cleared an obstruction in the drain water hose, checked the flame sensor, and adjusted the gas pressure regulator.
