Quick resnpnse to my call. Found the very minor problem within two minutes and fixed. Did not charge.

I had a grill that wouldn't ignite. I could smell the gas and see the spark, but no flame. I tried taking it apart to inspect myself, but failed miserably. They came out the same day, fixed the grill, and put it back together. The people I spoke to were very nice and professional. The price was what they quoted. I feel it was a bit expensive to fix a grill, but I know they can't make a living charging $50 per service call either. Nonetheless, it was a good experience and I would use them again.

Jeff did an amazing job of not only fixing my grill, as it wouldn't light, but also spent a lot of time doing a thorough cleaning of the grill itself. He was also very kind in letting me know what I should be doing each year to maintain the grill on my own. I would highly recommend his services and would gladly use him again in the future.

The service was great. My grill was fixed within one day of calling and for the price I was quoted ($129 service call plus any parts that needed to be replaced). The follow up was very good. I got a call just after my grill was fixed explaining what was wrong and how it was fixed. I didn't have to haul my grill anywhere and it was taken care of so fast and efficiently, I didn't have to worry about not being able to grill over the weekend. All around a great experience. I would highly recommend them.

The cleaning itself was fine but did not solve the problem. The repairman determined we needed to replace the regulator and an attached "Y" line. The company did not proactively provide any updates post service (e.g. status of ordering the replacement parts) - we had to continually call them. After a month, I was told (again after I called them) they could not find the corresponding "Y" line and were planning to make a custom hose. I went to Brinkmann.net and found a regulator and "Y" line within 2 minutes. I'm not sure why, over 30 days, Walter Mechanical was unable to find a part that was visibly posted on the Brinkman's website for $21.95 ( http://www.brinkmann.net/products/details.aspx?item=810-8410-5). I can only assume we were a small / not very profitable job and they wanted nothing to do with us.

I'm very impressed with the job that was done. In fact, I'm considering calling them again next spring just to tuneup the grill and clean it again.

I contacted Walter Mechanical by email. I received a prompt email back and scheduled a service time. The service guy was friendly, prompt, and knew his stuff. He spent about 90 minutes at the house. He was able to fix the ignitor and discovered the issues that were causing the low flame. He had the entire grill apart and was giving it a once over and an extensive cleaning. He gave me some tips on some parts that I might want to get replaced and advice on grill maintenance. Prior to leaving I watched him pick up some grill scrapings off my cement to make sure it was left clean, WOW! Without hesitation I would recommend this service. They should advertise this service because it is hard as heck to find someone who provides it. I was so impressed that if I have any heating or cooling needs they will be one of the first companies I call.

It is so hard to find a good grill repair man. Last summer someone tried to fix my grill, and after charging me $100 and saying it was fixed, they dropped it on my back deck and it was not fixed. Got this name at the hardware store that sells Weber grills. They set up an appointment with my first call, arrived 2 days later and 10 minutes early. Took less than an hour to diagnose the problem and correct it.
