John at United Wall Systems responded to our email request for a quote. He performed the work promptly and on schedule. The quality of his work was excellent.

John was personable and very responsive in the initial meeting and bid preparation. He and his crew of three went above and beyond my expectations for craftsmanship. The work was completed quickly over the course of three days.

Everything was done perfectly; you can't tell repair work was done.

They were just excellent. They were very flexible and reasonable. Everything was known ahead of time. They were immaculate workers and helped me move the furniture. They did the damage areas and re-plastered the whole room. They also gave me instructions on how to paint. They worked for 3 days and always made sure the time was right for me.

I can't say enough about John and his team of plasterers! The crew, Tony, Jeff & Sean, were professional and pleasant. I couldn't ask for more! Upon arrival at our home they covered every area with heavy poly and drop cloths to protect our floors and newly installed carpeting. After they were finished, they cleaned up all areas, including sweeping, vacuuming & damp cloth wipe-up where needed! The job was estimated to take up to 3 days but they finished in a day and a half. And in was completed the week that was set during the appraisal process. The price quoted was reasonable also. Our ceilings are fresh and beautiful; they look like new again. I would definitely hire them again.

John was great! He did our project quickly. We were urgently needing it fixed before we moved into the house because of all the dust that patching drywall causes. He had to come to the house 4 times for patching and sanding. We had this strange window between our master bedroom and living room when we purchased the house. We attempted to DIY, but needed to call in an expert to properly fill it in and make it disappear. After he finished, he gave us tips for how to paint it properly since the surface is much more smooth than the rest of the wall. We'd definitely work with him again.

John was very professional and comprehensive in his inspection and review of our needs. He was one of three quotes we received and not the least expensive. However, his strategy to repair our plaster ceilings (in our 1937 home) was far and away the most detailed. He had a level of expertise with older homes that was not demonstrated by his competitors. We were schedule out several weeks before John and his team could do our job - it was definitely worth the wait. The texture and appearance of our ceilings is very well done. John would be our first and only call for our future wall and ceiling repair needs.

The whole experience with John was excellent. He was very responsive and communicative. Repairs were started earlier than he though at first and done faster than expected despite some challenges along the way. Quality of the work was excellent. The repairs look great and will blend right in once painted. He and his crew even did a superb job wrapping up the work area and cleaning up afterward. Something we greatly appreciate after some mishaps with other contractors. All total was a great experience and definitely will use United Wall in the future.

John and his team are professional craftsmen, pure and simple. Most impressive was the repair work they did on our plaster walls. I was prepared for an inexact match, but they did a flawless job matching the existing texture. I was impressed from start to finish. When I asked John out to give me an estimate, he took it seriously: taking pictures of the issues, taking the time to explain potential solutions, answering my questions, and showing me photos of his prior work. They showed up on time, worked steadily, were done with the job when they said they would be, and for the amount they had bid. They were courteous and respectful of our space and did an excellent job cleaning up, both at the end of every day and at the end of the project. I hardly even needed to dust after they were here. I will definitely hire United Wall Systems again and will recommend them to others.

John (the owner) was responsive and punctual. He was at our place on 4 different occasions, but worked fast and cleaned up exceptionally well each time. I had bids from three other providers - a couple of which were neighborhood "handyman" types. Ultimately, we were impressed with John's knowledge and his commitment to fixing it right. He assured us that the cracks would not come back - and really encouraged us to skimcoat the entire closet - versus jus the area that was cracked. After having it done, he was 100% correct with that recommendation. The new plaster looks beautiful and my Dad is already wanting to contact John about his house. John was more expensive then the others - but I think the small (couple hundred dollars) difference was worth his professionalism and experience. And his solution of skimcoating the entire closet was much better than the spot patching others were suggesting.

John was prompt and thorough with his initial appraisal. He was meticulous with the questions he asked about what we wanted done, and he was also respectful with the suggestions he had. The work took place over three days. Each day the work site was left immaculately clean, and he contacted me to make sure I was pleased with what he had accomplished after each session. I cannot express how happy my wife and I are with both the quality of John's work and the manner in which it was accomplished. Simply outstanding!

John and Tony did a masterful job fixing the mess. They stripped all of the damaged plaster and re-plastered the ceiling. They did such a great job that it now looks better than the original plaster work. They kept the area relatively dust-free and did not allow it to get into the main part of our house. They completed the work in two days vs. three.

I searched for quite a while to find a plasterer who would even call me back. This was a small job, which is apparently beneath some contractors. However, John Laudon was responsive, respectful, professional and very willing. He visited our home, inspected the damage and provided a written estimate. Photos from other jobs that he showed me revealed that his company does some very large and complex work, so I was duly impressed that he was willing to take on our little two foot square repair. The thing we agreed on was that this would be a work-in job that allowed him to coordinate the timing with other jobs in the area. Fair enough! He was accommodating of our schedule as well, and provided a week's notice in advance of the work here. After the work was completed it was impossible to see where the repairs had been made. It was so smooth and white that if I never repainted the ceiling, it is likely no one would notice. His business card says, "Master Plasterer". That is no boast!

It went well. The person came in and gave us a quote a couple days later via email. We agreed to the quote. Then about a week later, a group of people came in and brought all their equipment. It was an all day job because we don't have too bad of damages. By the time I went home from work, the holes are gone as if they were never there.

How'd it go? Amazing. Since it was the kitchen and it was going to take quite a few days we had John do the job while we were on vacation. John emailed every night with progress and even sent me a "before" picture of how bad one wall was before he repaired it. Every wall needed to be repaired with quite a bit of prep work was done to ensure the cabinets, appliances, and hard wood floors would be protected during the work. A plastic barrier was put up between all rooms leading into the kitchen. When we arrived home we were impressed, not only with the quality of the job, but how clean the kitchen looked. Plaster dust is a chore to deal with and I still need to clean every inch of that kitchen but what a treat to come home to a kitchen that looked so neat. John was quick to respond to our request for an estimate (we have 6 apartments in our condo building and I am the 3rd owner to use John), quick to give an estimate, and scheduled the work around our vacation time. John communicated very well using email (my preference) and answered any questions in a very timely manner. My neighbors said all workers in the crew were very professional and had respect for our building while they were going in and out to complete the job. My walls are back to their original 1903 beauty. I highly recommend United Wall Systems.

John and his team did an outstading job on a ceiling damaged by a water leak. Highly recommended.

John and his team were great - very professional, friendly, left the house relatively clean. We moved out for the three days the project took, only because the layout of the house meant that it would have been really difficult to get through the project space to our living areas. United Wall kept us in the loop throughout the project, sending emails each day about how things were going and when they estimated completion. We were very impressed with their work - the room looks great. Theirs was not the lowest price estimate we got, but they seemed the most professional, and gave us confidence that they would get the job done well and get it done quickly.

John showed up to provide an estimate the same day I called. His team was scheduled out several weeks, but were able to fit me in a little bit sooner--which was greatly appreciated. John did a very good job explaining the work, cost, and demonstrated his experience working on older homes. John started the job himself, and then his crew took over. I couldn't have been more impressed with his crew. Skillful, efficient, and professional. In order to do the job right, they came on three consecutive days to add top coats and smooth out the surface. I just painted the ceiling and it looks fantastic. Would definitely recommend this team, especially if you have plaster ceilings/walls in an older home.

These guys are SO good! Their work was absolute perfection. They went beyond the original job and added ceiling materials that would ensure that the repairs and patches would last (probably for the life of the house from the strength of that material). They patched places on our walls that were not part of the original plan: but they were in the spot and saw an additional need and fixed that, too. They draped the work areas so that the dust stayed localized, then cleaned up wonderfully afterward. every day before they left they made our house as usable as it could be for us. They were all incredibly nice, professional, friendly. I can't say enough about them. Because they do so much work they are much in demand, we had to wait for them to get to us. No big deal, TOTALLY WORTH WAITING FOR THIS TEAM TO FIX YOUR PLASTER! I highly recommend them.

Contractor showed up when he said he would and also called ahead. Took approximately a day and a half to complete the job. Cleaned up very well after the job. Owner and crew were very nice to talk with. I would use them again.

Very well. I had two bids, theirs was higher, so I went back to them and asked if they would be interested in rebidding it. They did come down a bit. They were still the higher of the two bids, but they were so much more professional and gave me a very detailed bid. We were very happy we chose them.

They arrived on time, repaired the hole, even though it involved reinforcing the entire area around the hole, which was sagging. They also matched the texture of the patch with the texture of the ceiling around it. They even advised us on matching the ceiling and wall paint. They were very courteous and friendly. I would recommend them to anyone.

They did an excellent job. The ceilings look like new. They re-textured the entire living room ceiling for no added cost, though this was not included in their original bid. We were very impressed with their thoroughness and professionalism. I'd definitely use them again. Thanks!
