It went very well. I will continue to use Top Choice Lawn Care and recommend their service.

Prompt response and treatment. Weeds died off and lawn began to thicken a week after first treatment.

They come spring summer and fall for applications.

They do the work regularly. They have excellent service. The part that i like the best is their materials and products they use are bee and pet friendly.

They have excellent pricing for a 4 applications. They out within a week. They called to let us know when they would be out so we could ensure our sprinkler system was turned off. Accessible via the phone for questions. A note was left telling us what was done and instructions on watering. After the 1st application the yard looked 100% better, the weeds were dying - Yah! We are very happy so far.

Not well. Our backyard slopes upward and extends back about 30 yards. A 60 x 20 section of lawn completely died last year, and because we rarely go up there, we didn't know it until we raked last fall. We were not informed at all about the problem. I contacted the company, and they said they never received a complaint or call from us about it. Well, I'm not the one who is out there fertilizing and applying weed-control solutions to our lawn every other month and would notice it right away. I expect a lawn-car service to let me know when there is a problem, which there clearly was. We now have to prepare the soil and seed. Will never use them again.

They did the work this past fall it is hard to tell until the spring comes. Hopefully I will see results this spring. They were punctual answered my questions appeared to do a great job and I am going to use them this spring summer and fall.

They did a great job. My grass was in rough shape from my neighbors dandelion infestation, they came out and took care of the problem My lawn looks great. For the price it cost me to purchase fertilizer they came out and did it all. They also Aerated my lawn which they did a great job at a fair price. Would recommend.

We are using them again. The appointments were not scheduled appointments.

We were pretty much happy with them. We were satisfied with their service. The thing that I like about their service is that they use organic fertilizer. The outcome is fine but everytime will be different. They are dependable.

The staff were OK. I only saw them once or twice. They left the area clean. They seemed to do a good job. I would tell a friend to do business with them.

I just moved into the house where Top Choice provided service in the past. The previous owners forgot to cancel the service, so I came home to a Top Choice sign in my lawn and an invoice in the door. I called today as I did not order the service. However, I received excellent customer service and information. As a result, I decided to keep the service given my lawn looks great. I will be receiving two more applications for the season.

I have been very satisfied with this company until this year. I have recommended them to others including my daughter and son-in-law in Bloomington, MN. But this year they lost my confidence completely. For starters they did not come until quite late in the season, which they are quick to point out was not their fault due to the late spring. But - I had to calll them to get them to do my first application finally on May 17th. Then when they had not come back for my next treatment after 9and a half weeks I called. Was told they would check on it. No further communication until I called again 8/6 - two weeks later. I then was told that they couldn't get to my house because of road construction. A gain, not a big deal in itself, but they never called or contacted me back. I had to call them again! So the phone answering person has to talk to the boss... And I got a call back this time to say that the boss had looked and he would not send his truck into that kind of a construction zone. As a matter of fact he would not send his aeration truck and trailer in either so he suggested we cancel for this year. They offered a refund and I grabbed at the opportunity. I'll not go back there again. A piece on information to add to this: during this two week period of conversations there have been 4 different lawn care vendors that have come to 4 different neighbors in the same "construction area." We also get FedEx and UPS and Garbage trucks and we all drive through the area regularly. So the excuse that it was so terrible doesn't hold much water. My reason for the great negative review is two fold. First for not comming to do the job they had taken my money for. Second, for not keeping me informed of what was happening. When I hire a company, I expect to be handled with courtesy. And I expect communications if that contractor is not going to fulfill their part of the deal. They had not even broached the subject that they would not have enough time to even deliver my 4 fertilizer applications. This only came up as I quizzed the phone answering person.

Top Choice showed up exactly when they said they would. We had a prepaid seasonal contract for four applications and all were completed as promised. The lawn looked terrific under their care, a significant improvement from the last "national" company I had been using. We are relocating to the NW otherwise I would continue to use them indefinitely.

So far, everything is going very well. I inquired about an estimate in late May and was concerned about timeliness for weed control. I called the office and spoke with someone who was very knowledgeable and able to confirm that there was enough time to still apply weed control. Top Choice was out within a few days for the first application and called ahead to alert us. The lawn looks great. We have some dying patches, but that is clearly the result of killing the weeds that had overtaken that part of the lawn. Our Creeping Charlie weeds also appear to be dying! The lawn looks much greener than last year, but that could also be all the extra rain. We haven't had any additional treatments yet, but if anything significant changes, I will update the review.

It was an odd winter in 2013, remaining very cold into the spring. We had called to confirm that we were on Top Choice's schedule for fertilization, but as May rolled around they still hadn't showed. We called again to verify that we were, in fact, on the schedule, and they told us they know the types of soil in the different areas they service and, in our neighborhood, the "ground was still too cold" for them to fertilize. I thought that somewhat odd as I had seen other lawn-care companies fertilize other lawns in my area, but I took Top Choice at its word. The weather slowly warmed through May, but Top Choice still didn't come. And then, as I was headed to work one day, I saw on properties around the corner from me Top Choice lawn signs showing that fertilizer had in fact been applied. Had my house been done? Nope. When we called to inquire, we got the same story about the "ground being too cold." When we said that people right around the corner had been fertilized, they had no answer . . . and then said they'd be out by the end of the week. No thanks!

I got the name of this service provider from my neighbor. His lawn with which he has always struggled with looks great. Mine which usually looks great hasn't been doing so well. The provider gave me a very prompt quote. However, considering the late date, I didn't feel they should be charging me for the early spring application as it will be June 1st in two days. My neighbor agreed and told me to call them back. I did, and they proceeded to argue with me and reduced me to tears. I said that I thought that were I a man they would not treat me this way. They told me that if I didn't go along with their assessment, and felt that way, that I could take my business elsewhere. I hung up.

Lawn turned out great & more natural.

I bought the year long program. The technicians are courteous. They do a good job. My yard looks great.

Goes great. The guy comes, does his thing and hangs the paperwork on my door plus sticks a sign in the lawn to let others know there is fertilizer on it. I've actually used their sister company for a retaining wall in our front yard. It's a two tier and has added so much to our yard. Great job!

I think it went extremely well. Though it is leaving a bare spot in my front yard, it was to be expected as that spot was overrun by some creeping vine. I am hoping next season, that their treatments will bring out a greener lawn, as the former owners of this lawn did not take care of it very well. I will also be having them aerate the lawn in the next week or so.

Setting up the service was easy and the gal on the phone was professional and helpful. She reassured me that the guys that would be doing the work were conscientious and they "tried" to use the same teams for each residence so they would know the lawn. The first application we didn't get a call first so our son's toys were still all over the yard. Mis-communication on the phone numbers (their part) but they were willing to come back and reapply in the spots they missed due to the toys. I don't think it was the same team the second time since they over sprayed and within 2 weeks we had massive dead patches where they over applied. They came out to aerate and left plugs all over our sidewalk. When they overseeded they missed the rainy season and we spent a bundle on watering everyday. Not a blade grew. We overseeded ourselves a month later (early July no less) and actually got our own grass to grow. They killed a few plants as well as the weeds including a vine that grows on the fence between ours and our neighbor's house. It was their vine and our cost to replace. This last winter was brutal and everyone's lawn seems to have suffered. I agree that they killed the weeds but they also killed half our grass and none of their grass grew. I was content to simply not call them back this year and take it as a lesson learned for us. Then I got the call this spring that they were coming over to spray! Apparantly you have to cancel the service or they will continue to come and bill you. I cancelled and perhaps this is how lawn services operate but I did not know that. They also never once called to ask how the service was going or if I had any feedback.
