+ -1 moreThe contractor said that the whole process would take eight to nine working days. The job was completed in eight plus days. The demolition stage was messy but they managed to keep the mess to a minimum; the flooring installation went smoothly with very adequate supervision by the contractor, Jim Pierce, and excellent workmanship. Jim managed to arrange for the removal of the tubs filled with the tile, etc. on the weekend to allow cars to be put in the garage. Careful inspections were carried out and even after installation they returned to complete a few details that had been overlooked in the final inspection. We have never had a better experience with a company that way exceeded expectations. A difficult construction job made comparatively easy by the highest level of professionalism.
Description of Work: Removed tile floors in kitchen and front hall and wooden floors in the living and dining rooms, repaired underflooring and replaced all the floors with northern red oak flooring, sanded and finished the floors, replaced shoes around base and molding around doors.

+ 0 moreJim worked around my schedule and the guys who did the job were great and there was very little mess. Can not tell the floors were dark stained. The floors are now a honey white. I also had a weave put in a 3" by 1.5" space with a special heat vent that matches perfectly! They were great!
