NORTHERN TOOL & EQUIPMENT

Description of Work: We used Northern Tool and Equipment. I purchased a new furnace from them.

Description of Work: Northern Tool repaired a broken part of the blade engagement system on my Honda walk-behind mower. I took the mower in because the blade would turn off if the safety bar was lifted only slightly from the main handlebar. Northern Tool also performed a "tune up" (replace spark plugs, change oil, and sharpen blades).

Description of Work: March 9th, or 10th, I received and add from this company promising me 6 months no payments, and free shipping on the order. They also offered me up to fifty 50% percent off on all Garage tools, including Floor Jacks and jack stands. I took them up on it after consulting with my wife, and son, showing them this email I had received. I ordered a jack, a 3.5 ton Arcan model that had been $239 and was on sale for $149.99. I also ordered a se 12 ton jack double lock stands made by "Torin "Big Red" that had been $99.95 and were now $69.95 and pressed the "Bill me Later" logo and was IP'd, or ping'd to another web site asking me which account I wanted to use. Still presuming it was "Bill Me Later" I got rang out at the cashiers desk with the payment being covered by "Pay - Pal"! Later that evening I told my wife I wanted her to look at the receipt and since my son was over for dinner that night because he said they charged me $90.87 and that instead of being only $243.97 it was like a lot more. When we called them on it that night an hour after the sale they said to call Customer service about Pay - Pal. Then those folks whose number and "select the option" and "enter the extension" at said they could cancel the order or "hey they'd send me an email showing where they'd returned the freight to my account" and still ship me the jack stands first for the $69.95 this month and not ship me the Jack till the end of April. I got the emails and saved them into a folder on my computer in my mailbox folder, but didn't' print them. We read them, and they said just exactly what was promised would be done. That weekend I ran my spyware for bots and it produced three that I always get when I deal with this set of firms, Pay - Pal and Northern Tool - Equipment. So far since they decided to ship and bill me for the jack from Arcan on the 27th of March instead of the end of April they have cost me almost five hundred dollars in overdrafts and are refusing to compensate me because I didn't print the letters as proof. You just "gotta" wonder how many people they do this to everyday and what the total is at the end of the month.
