Description of Work: I had a pool deck problem where part of the deck came apart and semi collapsed. This was for an above ground pool with a round deck all the way around it. Over time, the backyard slopes down and the deck and pool tend to shift a little. Steve suggested a fix where he could jack it up and put reinforcing brackets in those areas that needed them. | |It took him a little while to get to my project and he completed it within a half a day. It has been over a year now and everything is holding up nicely. I will use Steve again anytime I have a problem I cannot or will not handle. Very easy guy to work with.

+ 0 moreSteve is a very nice guy - easy to communicate with. He suggested and planned the deck pergola to give us a good looking sun screen on the west side. He identified some water issues and repaired them. Work went a little slower than expected but I believe everything was very well done. I would use him again.
Description of Work: built pergola on deck; replaced repaired rotting rails, boards; repaired damaged siding over windows and at base of deck. Replaced porch door.

Description of Work: I asked Steve to do a major Deck repair for me. He quickly analyzed the problem and provided a solution on the spot. His work was thorough and displayed a professional and meticulous approach in quickly completing the project. He chose excellent material, was careful to fully comply with the codes and left the site cleaner than it was before he started the project. I was especially pleased at the low cost of the project. I originally thought it would be much more. I highly recomend Steve for anyone!

+ 3 moreSteve did an excellent job with all aspects of this job. He took away all the old rotten wood, strengthened the existing deck structure and completely redid the entire deck and stairs. He is very detail-oriented and meticulous in his work. He always cleaned up before he left at the end of the day and was very respectful of our property. There were several unexpected problems that arose as he was into the project, like a colony of carpenter ants that boiled up from the side of the house when he was removing some old material, and he fixed the area so to not have the problem again!
Description of Work: Completely removed a old cedar deck with handrails along the west and south sides of our house. Rebuilt a new deck with handrails in maintenance-free materials, and brought our front steps up to code.

The original frame was not straight, so he repaired that and installed the new door in the afternoon, including the screen door and all the hardware. He was very courteous and respectful of our home.
Description of Work: Removed an old hinged double door and replaced it with a sliding patio door leading out from our kitchen to the deck.
