Scott was pleasant, seemed knowledgeable, seemed careful in his work, and was great to deal with. He was honest in telling me that our old bathroom medicine cabinet could not be removed without tearing up some of the plaster, with unknown results that could include our having to repair or replace plaster, remove wallpaper, and redo the bathroom walls. Good to know, since we had company arriving! (It had originally looked as if the cabinet was mounted in a way that would make replacement easier, so it wasn't Scott's fault that he discovered he couldn't replace the cabinet as planned. And he knew that we would repair the walls ourselves, and he clearly wasn't trying to sell us on having him do that.) Right now we're too busy to spend the time it would take to do all that follow-up work, but now I know who we'll call if we need a handyman for other projects.

He replaced rotting wood where needed, sanded/prepped, primed and painted. He removed a tree that was in the way and needed to go. He took the time needed to ensure it was a quality job - it looks fabulous! He cleans up after himself. The guy knows what he is doing. He even kindly put up with my three year old who liked to share information with him when he was working. Scott does awesome work!

Scott is great - always very responsive. I had 2 gates that were both sagging and hard to open. He worked some adjustment magic and they both open easily now. He also cleaned the helicopters from the gutters on my story 1/2 house. I have a 12'X18' deck below and there were no seedlings to be found when I got home that evening.

Scott is great to work with and I have called him for help with a variety of profects for several years. He answered my call promply once again, was quick to schedule time to take a look at the projects that needed to get done and he was efficient in dealing with each project. He was friendly, knowledgable and extremely neat and there was no mess left for me to deal with after the repairs were made.He is a great resource and a pleasure to work with and I will call him on future projects.

Scott replaced an old hallway ceiling light fixture that was no longer working. He indicated up front that if the problem was in the electrical wiring I would need to use a licensed electrician. Although the wiring was old, Scott was able to connect the new light fixture successfully.

It was very good and he did a very good job. The owner was the one who did the work and he was very professional. He couldn't make it for the appointed time, so we rescheduled and then he came on time.

Very timely, great work and done for the price we agreed on. I would certainly use him again.

It went very well. Scott always showed up on time and had only a very minor delay at the beginning. He did a lot of high quality work in what seemed like a very short period of time and charged a fair price. I think that stucco can be very hard to patch in way that melds in with the existing pattern, but Scott's patch is almost unnoticeable. In addition, he was very open to working with materials, such as paint, that I had on hand, which kept the overall price down.

Not very well. I understand that sometimes things can't be fixed. And the doorbell was really old. But a couple of weeks later I had my dad look at the bathroom fan, and he replaced the fan motor, and the fan started working again - easy! So it wasn't an electrical problem at all. I'm glad that I didn't call the electrician. I was a little surprised that he charged me $120 for not fixing anything. I understand that he needs to be paid for his time, but this seemed a little excessive given that I got nothing out of it and he was gone in less than 1 1/2 hours.

Scott is easy to work with, very responsive to our needs, and clever about finding solutions (inventing as he goes) to unusual problems. He works carefully and methodically, although taking more time than we expected. This was the second time we used him and will again.

Very professional, kept us updated. Helped with finding decent plumber to assist with the sink.

He has it nicely patched and we are just waiting on some caulk he has to order. He is a very nice man and is doing a very nice job for me. I would recommend him and use him again.

They don't work on chain link fencing.

As always, Im very pleased with Scotts work. Lots of people think they can be a handyman; but when it comes right down to it, they dont treat the work like a professional. Scott is totally different. The house is left perfectly clean when hes done and the results are exactly the way I pictured it, even better. It never takes long, and I havent run into anything that he cant do. To anyone out there looking for a handyman (and who isnt), make a list and call this guy. Hes the best.

All work was completed in a single afternoon as requested. Some extra odd jobs (bathtub drain repair) was addressed in addition to original job description. "Nicely Dunn"!

The job went very well. He told us that he would repair the floor and vanity one day and then would let the floor dry for another and come back on the third day to lay the flooring. All was done exactly according to plan.

Scott was very punctual, organized and professional. He was also flexible and agreed to take on a few new items on my "to do" list that I hadn't given him advance notice of. He made sure I was happy where all items were hung and was very attentive to detail in the various projects. I've already called him back for an additional project.

He was great: he was responsive, he was on time, he did a good job with the work, he cleaned up very well and all in all it was a good experience. I would recommend him to anyone.

Scott was very prompt to return my call. He was able to fit the job in quickly and did a very nice job. He also installed a door on an outside cabinet I had purchased from Brookstone but couldn't get to fit. Will definitely call him again for additional work!

Excellent! Scott is awesome. I emailed him and asked about his turnaround time as I needed my gate fixed right away due to safety issues of my toddler. He emailed me back same day and asked me to call him. He was at my house later that evening fixing the gate and I only expected that thinking everything else was scheduled but he kept saying what else, getting through my list, and giving me an estimate on some larger jobs I'd like done later. He was professional, courteous and thorough. I definitely will be using him again!

He arrived on time, performed the work quickly and efficiently. When parts or materials were needed, he went off to the home store for the purchases. He did the work thoroughly and to my mind conferred with me and my wife just enough. Not too much, but enough to make sure that the work was in fact what we wanted. He was careful to be sure as to the exact nature of the work we desired before doing it. So I was never worried that something would not be done to our liking, or that something slightly different would be done than we had imagined. The final fee was just what we had agreed to. There were no hidden costs. We are both glad now to think that we have hit upon someone we have been looking for. A fully dependable handyman we can trust.

Scott personally was very helpful on the telephone in giving me advice. He made room for me in his schedule and was prompt, efficient and courteous. He is extremely neat and cleans up after his work is completed. He is very easy to work with and I intend to call him for future home projects, both inside and outside.

What I especially appreciated was that, when I showed him a light fixture with a broken off bulb, he fixed it and wouldn't charge me. He also noticed things that could be fixed and gave me advice on them, e.g. my front door (original 1912) lists a bit, and therefore needs to be lifted slightly to shut tight. Other "pros" missed this completely. I will use him as my handy person.

Mr Dunn dropped in and figured what he needed in materials. He did all the repairs on one day and worked quickly and efficiently. The quality of his work was excellent.
