It was great. He showed up for an estimate and it was easy enough to do that he did it right there. He was very professional and the price was very reasonable. The service was prompt.

He's punctual, reliable, accurate in his descriptions, and the quality of work is beautiful. Some things that stood out was that he was extra friendly, extra personable, hardworking, and got the job done quickly.

We had a list of jobs that needed to be done, contacted Scott, sent him an e-mail detailing the list. So he was ready with materials and tools when he arrived right at the designated hour. He went through the list and did a couple of more things we'd thought of in the meantime. Everything was done ideally. We look forward to having him back to do more.

This is an older home so it involved some fitting, carpentry, painting, etc.

Scott got my business because of his excellent rating on Angie's list and because he had a much better solution to covering the holes in my ceiling than the other handyman I had do an estimate. He exudes professionalism and competence -- from his demeanor by email and phone contact, to his business card, to his visit to examine the job, to his quiet completion of the job on time and on budget. His work is beautiful, down to replicating the texture on my ceiling with his ceiling patches. I'm looking forward to our next occasion to work together. I would highly recommend him.

Responded promptly, came out for estimate. Was impressed by his thouroughness and attention to detail. In the end his price was significantly higher then other bids, and we went with someone else. Except the price, was very impressed with him, and would consider him again.

He did a variety of jobs for me. He hung some heavy pictures for me and he fixed a leaky outdoor faucet for me. I spent about $200 on the job. He did a good job. He saved me money by not replacing the faucet and just by fixing it. A new faucet would have cost me at least $200. The work that he did was good, but I realized later that his billing was not what he had mentioned. I didn?t say anything because of the work he did. The pricing was a little funny. Also, something he repaired ended up breaking right away. I will use his services again in the future.

The finished carpentry cost $575.00 and the plumbing cost $350.00. The guy was friendly and timely. He did quality work. I would recommend him for his quality of work and his responsiveness. I would use him again in the future.

We needed a missing section of chain link fence replaced. Although not a big job, it was big enough for us to keep putting it off. It also had to be done well enough to satisfy our neighbor, who can be particular about such things. Scott stopped by to do the estimate while we were away--it was nice not having to be home for that. Bottom line: Excellent work, high quality. Neighbor is happy. Scott is very friendly. We expect to use Nicely Dunn again for other jobs soon.

The experience was great! We would call him again. He was very responsive. I called him based on the reviews I read on Angie's List. He was very friendly. I asked him about an electrical problem over the phone, and when he came it was minor. He was very nice about that. When he got here I showed him two other problems I had with plumbing. He took over, and got everything done in one day. He was great!

After the initial meeting on a relatively small job, we couldn't get a response either via e-mail or phone. Maybe a half day of repairs is beneath them, but then maybe they should take the term "handyman" out of their name.

Great! We love this guy. :) We always call Scott whenever something around the house needs attention. We've had him out multiple times this year for various things (filling woodpecker holes, boarding up a squirrel's nest, gutter issues, repairing the dryer vent, etc etc...) and he is always able to work us into his schedule fairly quickly, is on time and always friendly, and he does a great job. We are also happy to support a local Nokomis-area businessman. Thanks, Scott. I'm sure you'll be hearing from us again!

He's great. He's very quiet, efficient and he even told me we didn't needed him to do some jobs. We wanted him to change a pane of glass and he suggested it was something we could do so he's not just trying to make money off of us. I highly recommend him. We are currently moving and he is helping us. He is not cheap, he is $60 an hour, but it is a good value. He gets right on the job and he is a good guy. He is coming out again on Friday.

Went great! On time, friendly, came back out to fix area that turned out to actually be the problem with no additional charge. I will call him again!

Scott did a great job. He was conscientious and worked quickly. He also asked good questions to make sure the work was done the way we wanted it.

Scott installed a new fence post between the house and the sidewalk. In spite of have little area to work with, Scott did an excellent job installing the post and I am quite happy with the results. Very professional and receptive to my input. He was very reasonably priced and I would definitely hire him again in the future. Since my initial review, I have also had Scott work on a number of projects. We have had him replace a broken window on an exterior door, build a ramp and install lattice on a utility shed, install a bi-fold door for a storage area, etc. Can't say enough good things about him. He is very professional, and we are extremely satisfied with his work on a number of home improvement projects. Highly recommended!!

They are very good. We had the handyman come out twice and he is very good. He came out once about a year and a half ago and then about a year ago. He charged $60 an hour which is kind of high but he charges according to the time that he spends. It?s not like there is a minimum of $60. So I have nothing but good things to say about him. He got the job done. It was reasonable and was fine. He totally lived up to my expectation. The price that he charged was fair and the quality of his work was good. Everything about him is good and he is efficient as well. I would definitely use their services in the future too.

I contacted Scott via voice mail and he returned my call quickly. We set up an appointment shortly after the first contact. Along with all of the work that Scott performed, he also provided some advice on how to fix some things ourselves. I also asked Scott for ballpark estimates on bathroom remodeling, converting an unfinished space into a closet and remodeling a kitchen (new counter tops, sink, etc.) Scott is very knowledgeable and professional and I would definitely use his services again for small "fix-it" type projects and on some of the larger projects he estimated.
