Scott was great. My front door had been laying on it's side for weeks trying to find a contractor to come refit it for the frame. Scott got back to me promptly and came out later in the week. The job was done in about an hour and it works and looks great. Thanks Scott!

Scott Dunn is my go-to guy. I'm not a 'handy' kind of woman, so when I need things done, I'd rather call a knowledgeable handyman than try to muddle through it on my own. With Scott Dunn I know he'll do exactly what I want and it will be done right. He takes care of all my handyman needs and I'll be calling him again in a couple of months as I continue to work on updating things in my house.

It went well, and took about 2 hours.

The guys from Nicely Dunn were great! Returned my phone call right away, were there when they said they would be, and seemed like good guys! Overall, I'm very pleased and will use them again!

My only complaint is that Scott already had a full schedule when I first contacted him, so I had to wait several weeks for him to be able to fit in my project. And this is really no complaint at all because it was the height of summer improvement season and most trades people were booked solid. It was well worth the wait. I couldn't be more pleased with the work he did. The house is vacant and I gave Scott the keys and asked him to lock up when he was done. After a few days he sent me the bill online--there was no rush or demand to get the money upfront. Altogether a great experience. I would hire Scott again any time. I would trust him to find creative and efficient solutions to home improvement problems.

The work was scheduled to be started at 10AM. I was waiting for Scott to come to the door and tell me he was here. No one was here at 10:30 or so I thought. I tried calling Scott,but got no answer. I then thought to look out the window and Scott and his helper were already hard at work! Unbelievable! This how I like to do business. An agreement is made and the work is carried out with no muss-no fuss. Scott is dependable and shows up when he says he will. Love it.

This is the second time I've used them - will absolutely use them again. Called Tuesday or Wednesday and they were able to squeeze us in on Friday. They are efficient, take time to understand what you want done, and then get to it. Very professional, nice guys. I asked them to try to fix a desk pull-out drawer for the computer keyboard - turns out, the hinges (which are special order type hinges) were broken. They found them online for me and emailed me a link so I could order them and showed me how to install myself when they came. Last time we used them (last year sometime - didn't write a report) - we had both of them for a full day and they did a huge list of work for us -- everything was great. Worth the price- and i love having two of them here so they can speed through my to do lists.

It went very well! Scott offered up several different options on how he could fix the ceiling. He explained everything very well!

I hired Scott Dunn based on his stellar reviews and responsiveness to my initial query about getting our fence post and footing replaced. It took less then 4 days from the time I sent an email to the time he replaced the old post and footing. Nobody else I sent a note even got back to me in that time. I send him an email on Monday and heard back from him the next day. The old post is in kind of a weird spot -- up against the corner of our garage. I sent Scott a photo, and he came by the next day (Wednesday) to look in person and provided an estimate by email that night. The next morning, I dropped him a note that we'd like to hire him, and he squeezed me in that day (Thurday). The new post and footing look great, and his timeliness helped keep our re-staining project on track/time. Since I was late in getting someone to do the new post, I didn't make a point of asking for a rush and figured we'd have to stain the new post after the fence was done. Well, Scott was there to look at the old post on the day they powerwashed the fence, and did the new post the next day, before the fence was even dried back out enough to apply stain. His bill was also less than the amount of his original estimate, I'm guessing because the old footing came out more easily than expected. The price seems right for the work involved digging up an old footing/broken post and replacing them, based on what I know of how others charge for a similar service. From start to finish, Scott was professional, pleasant, and efficient. We really appreciated his work and will definitely hire Nicely Dunn again.

It went great. Scott and his team did a fantastic job! Plan on using them in the future. Only wish they weren't so in demand so we could have them to ourselves. :)

We needed part of our backyard fenced to keep our dogs in. Scott came came out to give an estimate and I liked him right away -- he's a super nice guy and he repeatedly encouraged me to get other quotes. We ended up hiring Scott and I'm very pleased that we did. He did an excellent job and, knowing that we were on a tight timeline, he worked through a weekend, including a day in the rain, to finish the project. Throughout the process he consulted us on key decisions and made sure we knew all of our options. Highly recommended.

He did what he said he would do, so it went well.

They charged us $100 an hour, so we ended up paying $200. We got them off of Angie's List. They were very professional and they were one of the groups that actually answered my phone call. They were very prompt about answering the call. They gave a specific date that they would be there and then they showed up on time on that date. They were very efficient. The things that they serviced are still in great condition until now.

I always call Scott Dunn when I need some help with a household project. We have a land line cordless wall phone in our basement laundry room and the phone was 6 years old and was not working well. The wiring for the 6 year old wall phone was buried in the wall and so I could not replace the phone myself. I purchased a new replacement phone from Best Buy and called Scott to get help with the installation just before the Memorial Day weekend, thinking I would get a call back the following week. But Scott's helper, Clint, called me within 24 hours and arrived at my house on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend and installed the new phone. As typically happens when replacing one product with another, the new phone did not quite "fit" the old phone's installation set up, but Clint was able to make some creative "alterations" to the new phone and the installation was perfect. It was great to get the job done so quickly and pleasantly and, as always, Clint was friendly and informative. I am very happy that I know I can call Scott Dunn and get great service and help from him or from Clint. They are reliable, prompt and very professional "handy men" !!

Nicely Dunn professionals were on time and repaired all items in a timely and professional manner. They were detail oriented and courteous. I will have them back for other repair work and I would recommend their work.

Great, he was awesome. I initially called to have a bike put together, but when we took it out of the box it was damaged. So, he asked if there was anything else I needed so he put my coffee table together. I've been hoping I would have something else for him because I really liked him.

Scott Dunn and his helper arrived at the agreed time. They measured the door and removed the fence post and the old cement base . They made the trip to the supply store and purchased the door, cement, door locks and hardware, paint and a new fence post. All work was completed in about 7 hours - an exceptionally nice job. We were very satisfied with their work and the price. The $833 price included all parts and supplies. They also hauled away the replaced material.

He wasn't successful, but it wasn't his fault. The manufacturer actually had to correct the table. He was extremely courteous, however, and I would give him the highest ratings.

I was unable to use his services this time as another contractor was able to complete most of the work along with another job I was having done. Scott was quickly responsive to my request and if the need arises, I would contact him again.

It went well. He was punctual and fast.

The original quote was $400. When Scott and his partner came out, they looked it over and made a change that saved me $100 in labor and materials. I will definitely use them in the future for projects. Very professional.

Scott and Clint started working like "energy bunnies", fast but thorough and got the job done in less than two hours.They are polite and did everything systematically. I would recommend them to anyone.

Scott and his assistant were AWESOME!! First, Scott was very prompt in returning my voicemail to him to request service. Second, he had a cancellation two days away, and agreed to come and do all of the work I requested. Third, he was right on time - not a second late. As for the work, Scott and his assistant were very efficient. Probably the most complicated ask was the hanging of the new light fixture in my bathroom. They had to remove the old light fixture, and figure out how to get a new lightf fixture to work in its place with the hole in the wall and the hole in the light fixture lining up correctly. They ended up putting a new hole in the light fixture backing to do the trick, instead of putting a new hole in the wall. Scott asked if I needed anything else done and I asked him to do three more things than I originally asked him to do, and he did them all! Having Scott come and do this work is really wonderful - he can finish tasks that would take me a full day in a matter of minutes. Well worth the money!
