It went fine. Normally, I would do this myself, but I was short on time. He followed directions, gave advice, worked efficiently, and cleaned up the minimal debris created.

I have used Scott as my handyman for a number of years on various projects. I called him on Dec. 16 to let him know I needed help with a repair project for my Delta kitchen faucet and we made arrangements for him to do the work on Dec. 18. Scott arrived promptly and was very courteous, professional and helpful. I had replacement parts from Delta and Scott used the parts to fix my faucet. He also noticed that the faucet was a bit crooked (which was the way it was originally installed during a kitchen remodel years ago) and so he carefully worked under our sink (in a rather inconvenient location) to straighten the faucet. Just as Scott has done on many other projects he did the work efficiently and carefully and also instructed me regarding how the faucet replacement parts work. It was a relief to get the project completed before the holidays! I will definitely call Scott in the future when new projects arise.. He is honest, friendly, professional and efficient. I highly recommend Scott. He is a dependable, competent and knowledgable handyman.

We had a small project (3-4 hrs) that we thought we could handle ourselves. We wanted to install stacked stone to the back of some built in open cabinets in our living room. After purchasing the stone, and assessing the project more objectively, we decided we needed the installation done by somebody with more experience. Angie's list was our resource for finding that person. I read the reviews and decided to contact Scott Dunn (Nicely Dunn Handyman Services). I left Scott a voice mail message and he returned my call in a timely manner. Scott asked me about the project and requested some pictures. I followed up on that request. Scott and I communicated by email regarding cost and additional materials. The decision was made to hire Scott for the job and a date was set. Scott checked in with us, close to the agreed upon date, to confirm the appointment. He and his coworker, Clint, showed up as planned. Scott and Clint were professional and considerate on every level of service. They were courteous, prompt, respectful of our home environment, and skilled installers. My husband and I would recommend Nicely Dunn Handyman Services with no reservations. We intend to use them in the future.

They told us that the issue was the hinges, spent around 4 hours working on hinges and locks etc., and at the end of the time, it ended up being that that didn't fix the problem and they said oh, well we can do this other thing (shave down the doors) and that took all of 3o minutes and helped more than anything they did for the three house beforehand. The doors are okay, still not perfect, but in somewhat better working order than before. Then, afterwards, they told us that our credit card wasn't accepting payment. We had to call the credit card company numerous times, each time we were told that the payment was in fact paid. By the end, they had tried charging our credit card 5 times (possibly user error) and then asked us to send a check instead. We felt very uncomfortable with this situation and are waiting to make sure that the credit card company is only accepting one of the 5 payments.

Scott gave an estimate for some work and was hired to do that work. However, once he was there, my mother-in-law asked for some additional work without asking for an additional estimate - totally her fault. However, at the end of the day she was asked to pay an amount that felt completely unreasonable. Upon questioning that amount (and negotiating a reduced amount) she was told it was standard practice to pay both handymen for their lunch hour (this was several hours of work but not an entire day. And paid lunch hours were never mentioned up front). The worst part is after they negotiated a price and my mother-in-law paid them, they took the intercom system that she had them uninstall without her permission.

I found Scott on Angie's list and hired him based solely on the Angie's list reviews. A little risky I admit, but we have a vacant house that was under contract to be sold, when the plumbing problem occurred. Scott agreed to do the job based on pictures I emailed him. He was busy and had to be scheduled out about 3 weeks. He and his helper arrived as scheduled and got the job done in one day. It looks fantastic! I'm already trying to schedule him for work at our new house.

They arrived on time and were very professional. They completed the job in 2 hours and 20 minutes. We just felt that $300.00 for 2 hours and 20 minutes was a little high priced. At 150.00 an hour, we probably want to shop around a little more and check prices before deciding to call them again.

I believe the price was too high for the service provided. I think if Scott had worked while talking, it would have reduced the amount of time he and Cliff spent at my home. Also, Scott's estimate for window replacement was astronomical. The following year, I had all the windows replaced for less than the price Scott quoted for replacing one window.

Scott gave me an estimate based on photos. I compared his estimate with others and he was competitive. He is very busy now, so we had to wait a couple of weeks to get the work done. Also because he was busy, he was often hard to get hold of. He and his helper showed up on time and worked quickly. They put drop cloths down to avoid scratching the floor. They made good suggestions of things I should do to get ready for the installation of our cabinets. They also worked through lunch because we had a last minute funeral come up. I would definitely use NIcely Dunn again.

Scott replied to my message very quickly and asked what needed to be done. He gave me a ball-park estimate of $400 based on expected time to do the work and the materials. We were able to set up a time to do the work within 2 weeks. Scott later confirmed the appointment and asked a few additional questions about the job. On the day of the appointment, Scott brought another worker, was exactly on time, assessed the job and went right to work. He had all the materials needed, including a jack and finished the job quickly. After he was finished we asked him about another possible job and, after looking at was needed, he referred us to a plumber The work was completed quickly, well, and under the estimate. If I need to have more work done, I will call Nicely Dunn.

It was an excellent experience. This is the best company of this type that I have ever used. I would highly recommend using them.

Scott and his associate were on time, professional and the job was completed to our satisfaction. I would recommend them to others to use.

I called Scott Dunn and he called me back right away asking what we needed and he gave me the date he was available. He arrived right on time the day he was scheduled for and was very professional. He was very clean when finishing up the project. He installed the crown molding and was very good at it. It looks Awesome!

They did a wonderful and efficient job. They were able to complete many things that I tried to fix myself but gave me (I am not handy), that included fixing doorbell, bedroom and hallway lighting, garage opener, bathroom sink. I would recommend them.

They re-vented my gas dryer. It went very well; they were easy to deal with, explained what they were going to do, finished the job on the first visit and completely cleaned up after themselves. The only thing that sort of surprised me was their policy of charging an additional 3% to customers who use credit cards. On the other hand, they were very willing to let me pay in two installments, with no interest or other charges. I rated their price a B for two reasons: the policy explained above, and the fact that I did not choose to get other bids, when Scott told me that he and Clint could do the job then and there. So I don't know how competitive their charge was.

it went GREAT! After having been stood up by another handyman I called Nicely Dunn, and discussed the project with Scot. We made an appointment and he and an assistant came right on time, looked at the project and began work immediately. The care in measuring the project out to meet USPS requirements was meticulous, and the way they trimmed the post to the correct height gave the project a much more professional appearance. They were done in less than 90 minutes and it looks great and is exactly in the correct spot to satisfy the Post Office. I will definitely use Nicely Dunn again for other handyman type projects as they are professional and have great attention to detail. Thanks!

Scott responded to our request for him to do some work for us within 24 hours and was able to schedule me for the next morning. They were on time, worked quickly and did an excellent job. Scott also noticed some issues on the outside of my house that needed attention but that he was unable to do due to the height, 3 stories up, and pitch of my roof and also the expertise needed (masonry, finish carpentry). I would definitely hire again and recommend.

I called and made an appointment but had to cancel. Scott was very accommodating and rescheduled for the next day. Two handymen arrived promptly, assessed the situation, went for materials, returned and completed the job, cleaned up after themselves and removed old materials and debris. Materials were about $40 and they were done in an hour. They explained what I needed to do to keep the problem from happening again. Very happy with the service.

Fantastic. Very professional job done, efficient and very respectful of the unit owner, did not rush my Mom who is on oxygen but were very patient and did not make ser feel that she had to decide things in a hurry. I will be making a schedule to hang things in my home wiht them. Great guys and great work.

The railing of our rental home was loose and the flanges were broken. We waited a couple of days for a response, but Scott was able to go out to the property quickly and give an estimate. He then schedule repair for the next day. The railing is now sturdy again!

They arrived on time, surveyed the project and completed it very quickly and efficiently. They also took care of a minor trim piece that we only mentioned to them when they arrived. I will absolutely compile a list of future projects for them to assist me with.

Scott is a complete professional. Showed up on time to give me a bid, then showed up on time to get the requested job done. The one thing that really stands out about how professional Scott is, is that while he was removing a large and akward beam from my backyard, he accidently broke a window. He called me right away, explained the situation and apologized, then said that he has already ordered the exact replacement window from Anderson (could have tried to save himself some money using something cheaper, but he didn't), and wouldn't let me pay for the job that he already completely for me until he came back and installed the window that he'd broken. He waterproofed the broken window and made it safe, then a week later he called and he said that he got the window from Anderson, and he came back and installed it, then even offered to go find matching paint and paint a very small part of trim (which I declined, that's an easy thing for me). After all that, he didn't even think of charging me any more than his original quote. Scott's clearly a standup guy that takes a lot of pride in his work. Any time I have anything around my house that requires a handyman, Scott will be my first call.

It was an odd situation because I'm getting used ones so they have to be adjusted to fit. I ended up getting someone else to do it for $175. It was two guys and they seemed thorough but the price was too high. It was really a one guy job. They seem efficient but the price was a little off the wall.I would use them if the price was reasonable.

Scott is a great guy. I felt very comfortable with him. He knows what he is doing. He is very much in to saving money, which was very helpful. He did a great job on the repairs. He advised me as to what to do with the house in order to put it on the market. He is very professional, and I would definitely hire him again.

I emailed Scott and he returned my email in a few hours. He requested pictures and he would get back to me. He got back to me in a day. Had to decline the job. I appreciate his timeliness and professionalism.
