I called about leveling an uneven basement floor. He wasn't able to help with this job but he gave me some suggestions and was prompt in returning my call. Would try him again for another job.

Overall Scott did an excellent job from start to finish, I am very impressed and would certainly use Scott again for more home projects. As a fairly new homeowner with little to none experience for home improvement projects, Scott was very helpful. I had an old door in my basement that was not hung properly, the door was of poor quality, and the door did not even shut. This door leads into an area of my basement that I recently finished. Scott had me take pictures of what I was looking to have fixed, then worked with me directly and helped me pick out a good door and lock set, and Scott even went out of his way to pick up this door and lock that I bought from our local Home Depot (I only have a small compact car). We both agreed upon a date, Scott was prompt, and completed the work in a timely manner, and over did an excellent job, I do really like the final product. Further, the space where Scott had to install the door was unique, Scott was able to custom install the door, and shave the door down so it fit in perfect. Also, Scott was very reasonable with his pricing. Again, I am very impressed with the service provided, and would certainly use Scott in the future. Thanks again!

Scott responded to my email right away over the weekend, and asked me to send photos. With the photos he knew just what tools to bring and was able to complete the job in less than two hours. It looks great.

Scott and his assistant were very punctual. In fact he called ahead and asked if they could come a little early - which worked out great for me. I had prioritized tasks based on my budget, but it turns out I didn't have to: they performed all the work quickly and within the time I'd budgeted. This included a snafu: I had gotten the wrong part for a garbage disposal electrical connection at Menard's, and Scott graciously offered to go there himself and get the right part. They quickly prioritized and went about the various tasks between the two of them. Everything on my list was done to my satisfaction. They did some extra last minute tasks - like repairing a lamp that I assumed was unusable. Scott even pointed out a door latch that had been installed wrong, and easily corrected it at no additional charge. I would use these guys again in a heartbeat. In fact, I'll probably need them again for other things as I get ready to sell my home. I've already recommended them to my friends.

Given the random nature of the request, we were appreciative that he was willing to do the job. Hanging large objects in commercially constructed spaces is difficult and we preferred to hire someone more competent than ourselves. In addition to taking on a quirky project, Scott was excellent to deal with. Responsive to emails, easy to reach, on time, and the work was excellent. Basically, an ideal experience.

I was in a pinch and needed to have a shower door hung asap due to a showing at our house. They squeezed us into their schedule and they arrived on time, were extremely professional, and thorough. I would highly recommend them for any "handyman" services they might have in the future. I know we will definitely use them again!

I thought I needed to get rid of my refrigerator enclosure, for a new fridge. I called 5 different services from Angie's List and Scott was the only one to return my call the same day. I will definitely keep them in mind when I get around to patching the sheetrock and other things that need doing. Thanks Scott!

Excellent workmanship. It was a small job, I wasn't sure if I could find anyone to do a job this small. They were happy to do it, and they could not have been nicer. Very professional. The repairs were done perfectly. I will definitely call them again.

These guys are absolutely the best I've ever worked with. They are fast, very reasonably and fair priced, and can do virtually anything. When what you want is a creative solution to a problem that you haven't figured out, they assess the situation and, almost immediately, start providing you with a variety of options of how to solve the problem. They always get you to the most effective solution at the lowest possible cost. And then they do it super quick and efficiently.

48 hrs to respond only to find out he's very select in what he'll do. Ex. Faucet leaking under sink. plus needed a new board cut since it warped/rotted sink. Nope he doesn't do. Lever on toilet broken, just need new part. Nope, he doesn't do. Ceiling repair. Nope, he doesn't do. In all cases, his position was it might be more complicated. When I asked what he does do, he said hang towel bars, install new light fixtures, drapery rods. So, I guess if that's what you need, he's your guys. I just want to find someone who I can call who has a broader scope of work they perform.

Scott and his partner Clint visited our house twice to perform the repairs listed. The rave reviews for these guys are 100% accurate. They arrive on time. They are polite and pleasant and presentable. They look more like professors than handymen. They bring all their tools. They require minimal briefing on what needs to be done. They are very clear about what they can and cannot do. (In our case, they could not do some plumbing and electrical work.) They go to work immediately . They work quietly, efficiently, and cleanly. The go above and beyond what you request. For example, they picked out matching or new replacement fixtures for faucet and lights (they stopped short of picking out a new shower door, although they probably have better taste than we do). They demonstrated great judgment. They repaired extra things that we did not request but that we highly appreciated, like the tin ceiling, drawer runners, basement sink, etc. They are thorough and conscientious -- I thought they had completed the master batch caulking on visit #1. On visit #2 they reminded me they hadn't finished part of it because the shower had been wet. They didn't do or suggest anything unnecessary or waste time. Before hiring Scott and Clint, my only concern was that their hourly rate could lead to higher costs if they were not efficient (and that they might not have incentive to be efficient when working by the hour). My concern was completely unfounded. The overall cost was incredibly reasonable. I would hire these guys again in a heartbeat.

We had a good experience with him. It was pretty easy to schedule it. He was a busy guy but it was easy to schedule. He was upfront about the kind of work that he liked to do. He suggested some alternatives on how to make it as cheaper as possible. Overall, it turned out pretty nice. The pricing was a little higher than I expected. In the end, it looked good. We had some problem with him pressuring for payment early. I didn't like that.

Very good. I will contact them whenever I need help. The only drawback is that there may be a delay before they can come because of their apparent popularity.

The guys work hard and are very professional. I contracted all the work on my basement remodel myself and they are truly respectful of your home and provide quality work. The only reason for the lower rating on price is that when we discussed the project initiallyit was estimated at 6-8 hours at $100/hour and I was told two guys would need to be there. The job ended up being much bigger than expected so my costs doubled and of course so did the service time. The second guy was only available for the first day as well. I appreciated that Scott worked during his time off to ensure that my project timeline was still met dispite that the workload was more than he expected. He could have easily just blew me off and only stayed for the 6-8 hours, but instead came back to finish before the next part of my project. In fact, my husband called him back to help him with other odds and ends as I'm 9 months pregnant and can not lift most items. My husband said that Scott really showed him some things and he appreciated the help as he's not very handy and it was just nice to be guided. I really appreciated Scott's work and professionalism and would be happy to use his services again as everything looks great.

THey did very good work. It was the owner and another helper. They were able to fix a problem with my awning that oddly no other "handyman" could do and no awning company would do. I was very grateful to get this fixed. I have wanted to use them for other things but have contacted them several times and have not been able to get them again for jobs. It appears they are more busy now and perhaps not as open to doing as many different things. I would like to use their service again, but like I said I have not had any luck.

This went extremely well. They built two beautiful fence gates beyond my expectations. I found these guys to be smart, focused and driven. They run a very good, no-nonsense outfit.

They completed door and window. No problem with work. Sent over two guys in white truck which was fine since it was all fixed and the truck gone.
