The job went smoothly. Victor and his team provided outstanding workmanship and team effort in competing this project. Communications were always prompt. Their attention to detail was so appreciated. Things I wouldn't have thought of were brought to my attention. They left everything clean and orderly. I plan on hiring them again for a future project.

Having worked in the construction business for 32 years I'm familiar with good and bad subcontractors and let me tell you Metro Floors is one of the best! The communication from start to finish was excellent. Victor and his men all seem to take great pride in their work. They came when expected, worked long hours, did a fabulous job of clean up and finished way quicker than I had expected. Victor checked in each day to oversee how things were going and answered my texts or questions almost immediately. I'd definitely hire this crew again.

The work was completed within a week's time after preliminary planning and consultation. Actually, only two days were required once Metro began. The results were exactly what we had asked for, and we think our kitchen looks stunning! Thank you, Metro!!

It could not have gone better. Victor, the owner, is so professional and so easy to work with. He referred me to a wonderful tile shop that he works closely with and who made picking out the tile a breeze. Victor also ordered what I needed and picked it up and incorporated that cost in the estimate. Victor is a hands on owner. He was in contact with me at every step of the way. He was on sight at least once every day to insure everything met his high standards and to insure that I was happy with what had been done so far. He was also there to work if something required two workers. Every concern I had was addressed and no concern was too small. He always let me know when workers would arrive and if there would be any changes or delays. My job was not huge but Victor acted like it was a million dollar project with all the attention he gave it. Andrey was assigned to do the work. I could tell that Victor has employees similar to him. Andrey did a fabulous job. You can tell he is a perfectionist. Everything was precise and exact. He was always on time, kept everything clean and protected, checked in with me at every new step of the project to insure that I was happy with the progress and with his work. He would go over everything at the end of the day and again in the morning to check if I was still happy with how things looked and whether I had any new questions or concerns. Victor did the same. His work was impeccable. I can not say enough that is positive about this company. I am so Happy I picked Metro Floors to do my master bathroom.

Our experience with Victor was wonderful. Every step went smoothly. All the installers were on time, worked long hours and very neat. Very high quality workmanship. Metro floors did everything including plumbing. Victor answered emails and texts in less than 24 hours. We look forward to working with him next month for an interior painting project.

Fantastic! I found out about Metro Floors via Angie's list last week, called them on a Thursday and they came over that day to look over the project. I had an estimate that evening and it was very reasonable. Plus Victor said they actually had time to do it early the following week. The project took two days from start to finish and it looks awesome. High quality work. Professional and personable team. Highly responsive to my many questions. Work was great and they were very good about keeping things clean around my house and staying within the estimate. I highly recommend Metro for all your flooring needs.

Everyone I dealt with during the process of consultation, choosing the vinyl tile, and installation was great! Victor was very prompt in communicating with me each time, was professional, and friendly. Installation day went faster than anticipated and they did a great job. I'm very happy with my new floor, and would definitely recommend Metro Floors to others.

I was impressed by the thorough preparation work that was performed prior to tile install. The installation process went very smoothly and the finished product looks great! Everyone involved in the project was courteous and professional, even making an additional stop after the appliance install to custom fit the last remaining tiles. From the beginning I noticed the professionalism in their communication with me throughout the quoting and scheduling process. We had to wait a while before we could get on their schedule but it was worth the wait. Their quote was a bit higher than two others and lower than another one. We chose complicated designs and Victor and Vladimir did a beautiful job. They took a lot of care with the structural part of the job to insure the quality of the finished product. We found them to be hard working and amiable and we plan to hire them again for our next project.

Our deck had to be reflashed, so the tile on the outer edges had to be removed. Metro Floors had to embed the new lath and mortar into the existing tile application. then reinstall the original tiles. When they were done, it looked just like the original deck. Vladimir did an excellent job-a real artist. And Victor was wonderful to work with, patiently answering any questions we had. We highly recommend this company.

Victor's workers and subs were all outstanding. They were on time and worked long days every day. Victor was helpful with suggestions but also went with what we desired. I have had a lot of contracted work done in the past and Metro Floors did a great job! The cost was very good considering the scope of what was done. The price did not include the 2 quartz tops, the fixtures or the toilets and those we purchased on our own.

I'm so happy I discovered Metro Floors!! Victor was very clear and detailed in all communications, and the tile installation was perfect!! Metro Floors is very professional, very skilled, and a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend them and will be using them again for a bathroom tiling project.

Victor showed up when he said he would. He called before the start date to make sure everything was in place for his tiler to be productive. His tiler was Vladimir and he was a true artist. He spent long days making sure everything was precise and looked brilliant. Victor used the best materials in the business, from the heated flooring to the grout we used. The job took roughly 5 days and is sensational. I have rehabbed many homes and I have never experienced a tile job or company this satisfying. Almost every piece needed to be cut and with a 115 year old home, the walls are never square. Victor, Vladimir and Metro Floor have my endorsement for any tile project.

My husband and I had a very different experience with Metro Floors than described in so many of the positive reviews that have previously been posted. It was very difficult to get Victor to return a phone call and it took 3 months for us to get a final quote from him. Victor primarily communicated with us via text which normally is acceptable but for this type of project, I would have preferred to talk with him on the phone. Victor used a sub-contractor, no one from the Metro Floors team ever actually came to our home. Victor originally quoted us $1,975 for a frameless glass door and $1,410 for a framed door. Victor increased the quote to $2,100 for frameless and $1,700 for framed, with no explanation and told us he required a down payment of 50% via check, no credit card. Not a big deal, but seems weird that he never mentioned that up front when we talked about pricing. We had asked Victor, twice, if he accepted payment via credit card and he said he did. So, not sure why he was insisting we pay him with a check (I would actually think he’d be assuming less risk with a credit card payment). Victor would not respond to us with an explanation for the increased quote so my husband reached out to the sub-contractor directly and the sub-contractor said that normally they charge about $500 less than what Victor was charging to do that work so they couldn’t rationalize the price. Victor scolded my husband via text for going directly to the sub-contractor. In the “About Us” section of the Metro Floors website, it says "From inspiration to installation." Craftsmanship and art goes into all of our projects. That is why for Victor, it is important to be there form beginning to completion of every project.” Based on my experience with Metro Floors I can’t help but question the authenticity of that statement along with the credentials of their website content manager.

Great! Work began within two weeks of contract, and was completed within a week. Victor, the owner of Metro Floors, was very accommodating, working around our schedule. He and his crew always came to our home when scheduled. They were great to work with, were experienced at their craft, and did excellent, careful work. We purchased a deal through Angie's list, which included the installation and cost of the granite and tile for up to a set square footage spelled out in the deal. Victor itemized and carefully explained before the work began any additional costs involved in our project. He was more than fair. We highly recommend Metro Floors.

I had read several reviews about Metro Floors and their responsiveness. I was needing to have a glass tile backsplash installed. I had seen several reviews of happy customers that had stated they had similar square footage of glass tile backsplash installed. The reviews all stated how responsive they were, so I emailed and asked for a quote. I got an email back with a quote A. about 3 times the amount for the same job as listed in other reviews. based on the square footage. I then asked if someone could come out and give me an estimate (I hadn't even commented on the difference in price), and have never heard from them again. There are many other companies that want your business. I am not sure if the $1200 they quoted me was just too small of a job, but unfortunately, they won't get my business when i have another larger job that I plan to do in the very near future. I have hired a company that does have a minimum charge (which I completely understand) to make it worth their while to come out. Even though it is more than I had originally wanted to spend, they have to make money, which I totally understand.

My husband & I recently had some renovation work done by Metro Floor (MN). I've always heard that contractors are a nightmare to deal with; happily, that was not our experience. We wanted to replace our 1970s formica counters/backsplash & worn porcelain sink, and have carpet installed on stairs and 2nd floor hallway. We got estimates from two companies; Metro Floors was cheaper, and had a good rating, so we chose them. Victor clearly explained the process to us, To select our granite (for countertops), tile (backsplash), and carpet, he gave us multiple places to visit. He got us a decent price on each, and never tried to upsell us anything. We made our choices, informed Victor, and he ordered them. Each item was installed within 24 hours of him receiving it. Victor went "above and beyond" regarding the tile. I was picky, and didn't find what I wanted till the fourth store we visited. Of course, the one I chose had to be made-to-order, which would take 12 weeks. Victor called the manufacturer, found a discontinued tile which was almost identical (and I liked better). Scouring multiple warehouses, they gathered enough tiles for the job, and Victor even got the last corner bullnose tile in the country! Backsplash installed in less than 2 weeks, instead of 12. The crew members were always professional, friendly, and obviously skilled. Only one hitch: while installing the new stainless steel sink, they had to disconnect our old (10+ years) garbage disposal. A plastic piece broke, which could not be replaced, rendering the disposal useless. The guy told us immediattely, and we contacted Victor. He replaced it with a new comparable model at his own expense. Since our disposal was so old, we insisted on paying half the cost, even though he tried to refuse it. We thought it was the fair thing to do. Victor was great at keeping us apprised of order/project status vie emails, phone calls & texts. If we had a question, he was always quick to respond. We love our kitchen and the carpetted hallway, and have gotten a lot of compliments on both.

I cannot say enough positive things about Victor and his crew at Metro Floors! From the first e-mail to the finished product, I experienced nothing but professionalism. On time, on budget, delivering a backsplash that is nothing short of stunning. It was so quick, easy, and painless, it left me wondering... Why didn't do this 10 years ago?

Victor and his crew did a great job with this project. Victor was very responsive and communicative throughout the entire process. They showed up for work each day on time and made the most of it. The quality of the work was excellent as well - there's no imperfections that we notice with the work. You can tell Nick took his time and did a great job throughout. I would highly recommend Metro Floors to anyone thinking about adding tile or flooring for their home. Our kitchen looks amazing and we would definitely hire them again!

Metro Tile installed, sealed & grouted it my new backsplash. Love how my kitchen looks now, I picked a basket weave pattern tile for the backsplash. Victor and his crew did a wonderful job. They are all hard workers, their attention to detail was amazing and they cleaned up after themselves. I would highly recommend Victor to my friends and have already hired him for a bathroom project in my home.
