Ls/Lakewood Insulation

Dave was the sales rep who visited my house for an estimate. He was prompt and courteous. Very knowledgeable, trustworthy and great customer service skills. He owned the job and made sure it was complete. Got a bid in May had the work done in October. We scheduled the job 2 weeks out. Crew came, did their job. Called Dave that night to have him look at the work to see if it met his and our expectations. The next day, Dave came to my house to inspect the work. Together we critiqued it and determined that the work wasn't complete. He immediately had the scheduler get the crew back that same day. The crew made it, finished the work and we're very happy with the job.

There was a problem in that they said they would lay down plastic to avoid there being a mess but the guy, Scott, did not do it. Then, the next day, Scott reported to the company that he was unable to return to work. So the next team that came in had to clean up the mess Scott left, and they were not happy about that. This may have also contributed to the job taking longer than expected. They did try and clean it all up in the end, and they went back to do areas that they had missed, but the process was stressful because of the mess that could have been prevented in the first place. I would still hire them again as long as we get a better team to start with that lies down the plastic and does what they initially said they were going to do with preventing the mess. I think Lee would make sure of it next time.

THEY WERE ON TIME, COMPLETED THE JOB WITH MINIMUM INCONVENIENCE TO ME, CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES AND INVITED ME TO CHECK WORK DONE.

THERE WERE SEVERAL DIFFERENT SCHEDULING PROBLEMS IN THE BEGINNING. FINALLY, BECAUSE OF THE SCHEDULING PROBLEMS, WE CANCELLED THE JOB. UPDATE: I CALLED THE MANAGER OF THE COMPANY AND LET HIM KNOW OF THE SCHEDULING PROBLEMS. HE APOLOGIZED AND SAID THE COMPANY WOULD BE HAPPY TO DO THE WORK, ON SCHEDULE AND AT A 25% DISCOUNT. WE ACCEPTED THE AGREEMENT, THEY DID THE WORK AND THEY DID A GOOD JOB. THEY USED A URETHANE SPRAY FOAM INSULATION.

MR. SWANSON ARRIVED ON TIME AND WAS FRIENDLY AND COURTEOUS. WE WERE PLEASED WITH HIS HONESTY IN DETERMINING WE DID NOT NEED ANY ADDITIONAL INSULATION.
