Description of Work: I have hired Kaufman to maintain my original slate roof nearly every year for the 35 years I have lived in my home. They are very professional and one of the very few experts in working with slate and tile roofs on homes built in the 1920s.

Description of Work: Kaufman has maintained our slate roof for over 20 years, and does it professionally. Whenever there is a roof issue or question, Kaufman responds promptly and with considered recommendations. We recently had them put a new (shingle) roof and gutter on our garage, which was professionally and promptly completed.

Description of Work: It just doesn't get any better. To point up my satisfaction with Kaufman roofing I will give two comments: I called them this time to fix the roof that had been damaged by hail because they had put a roof on for me 9 years ago, and the work was wonderful. And secondly, my nephew, who is an engineer, checks all work that is done for me. He checked out this new roof as well. For the first time ever, when he inspected the finished roof, he used the word "excellent" in describing the job. It's the first time I've ever heard him use that word. I think Kaufman is in line for a Super Service award!

Description of Work: We have them come annually to replace any cracked or missing slates on our roof. They have kept our 80+ year old slate roof in great shape. We will continue to use them as long as we own this house.
