Their price has been the best that we've received so far. I felt that they communicated well. At this point, everything seems good. They seem to be well educated in their field of expertise. We will most likely be working with their company in the future.

They were excellent! I had changed my mind a couple of times about certain particulars and they handled it very nicely. They always showed up on time. The crew was rather friendly, efficient, and courteous. The job was completed in one day.

Excellent. They were very prompt with their estimate and repaired some unforseen rot in the existing roof for a small hourly charge. The additional charges were spelled out in the estimate. Crew was very thorough and their clean up was meticulous, I wouldn't have known they were there. They showed up on time and were finished when promised. I'm very happy with the work and the price was excellent. The best part is that the leaking problem was eliminated. Great job!

They worked efficiently with us because we were filing an insurance claim. They were very knowledgeable about that process, which helped a lot. It was a quick job, with good communication from the foreman. They were especially good at being creative about how to improve the appearance of an unusual part of our roofm, as well.

All of their employees seemed to be quite competent. I would use them again.

The roof was done very nicely. He actually quoted me the roof and guttering but I didn't want to do the gutters and they were fine with that. The water doesn't go behind the windows anymore it goes into the gutters. They just did a very nice job and did it for what he quoted. I felt very pleased with the work and I would use them again. You couldn't even tell they were there.

I was expecting to pay more. Everything was perfect. The crew boss was excellent. They higher their own people, not just seasonal people. We has a couple issues but they came out immediately to fix it. There was vent that the flap on it was broken, so they came and took off a couple pieces of siding to fix it. There were also a couple nail holes that weren't filled. They were minor things.

Excellent experience from start to finish. Will keep them in mind when we replace our gutters this summer.

I had called 3 companies and only 2 called me back. This company was the only one to be able to do the job. I went into their showroom and chose the shingle and color that I wanted. They had a project manager. I was able to meet the owner and his daughter. I liked that it was a family run business. The whole job took only two days and the clean up was thorough.

Kaufman has now done my mother's roof and my roof this year. In both cases, Bob Kaufman, the owner, came to the house and prepared an estimate. The estimates were in line with other companies estimates. For my roof, the team showed up on time and took two days to replace the roof. The roofing team was courteous and professional. The gutter team showed up two days later and did a great job despite the very cold temperatures. After the roofing work was completed I noticed that the roofers had accidentally damaged part of the siding I had just had installed a week before the roof job, in a location where the garage roof meets the second floor siding. Jeremy at Kaufman handled everything for me; he contacted the siding company and had them come out and do the repair work, which was about $450 total. Kaufman took responsibility for getting the repair scheduled and completed and for the cost of the repair. This company has been around a long time, and in today''s crazy world of storm-chasing "roofers" I wanted to hire an established company that has a history of getting the job done right and standing behind their work.

We had hail damage. I called Kaufman Roofing and set up an appointment for a bid. Bob Kaufman came out promptly. He got up on the roof and presented me with a complete bid that day. He explained everything in detail. He was very professional and knowledgeable. I accepted their bid. The customer service is outstanding. Calls are returned promptly, and the staff is a delight to work with. I scheduled the job at a time that would work for me. Shingle samples were delivered to my house, and I was given addresses of homes with specific colors. They started my job 1 1/2 days after the projected start date because they had to finish another job that was delayed by rain. They called and kept me up-to-date on scheduling. Once they started the job, the project manager kept me informed on the progress. The workers found an area of rotting wood and I was called on my cell phone to get the OK to continue. Pictures were taken of the damage to the wood. The crew was efficient, and they cleaned the area up very well. I was very pleased with the work done. Bob Kaufman came out to my house after the job was completed. They also sent out their own inspector to check out the workmanship of the roof, vents and flashing that were installed. I definitely would recommend them to others and would use them again.

The response time was slow for the estimate. After the repairs were completed. I still had the problem. They tried to fix it a second time, it continued to leak. The company promised an estimate to extend the repair, but the estimate never came. Response time after the initial estimate was slow and I had to call several times to check when they would complete the work.

I contacted Kaufman in hopes of getting a bid for a metal roof for my house. The bid they provided is for $77,766 -- 50% more than the next highest bid, and more than twice what I'd expected. I never know what to think when I get bids like this...is it serious, or are they just naming an arbitrarily huge figure in hopes of steering me towards asphalt shingles, which were bid at a more modest $17,600? ($77,000.00)

For the estimate they arrived on time and were very professional. They provided a written estimate a few days later by mail. We found their estimate to be higher than other estimates received by roofers recommended on Angie's List. Additionally, we received a reference from someone that hired Kaufman to re-roof their home. While the reference was a good reference (i.e, quality of work was good), the only complaint they had about Kaufman was the length of time it took to complete the job. So, in the end we did not hire Kaufman for our job.

I called 5 different contractors. 4 contractors said it was too small of a job. Only 1 other contractor said they would do it at a cost of $785. Kaufman gave me an estimate over the phone, which I didn't like, but they had a good reputation on Angie's List so I had them install the roof vents. It took them 45 minutes to install the vents. The workers were clean, respectful and professional. I feel they did a good job at a fair price. I have no reservations about recommending them.

OUR ROOF IS KIND OF UNIQUE IN THAT IT HAS 3 SECTIONS AND ALL DIFFERENT IN SLOPE. ONE SECTION DID NOT GO WELL; SO I CALLED THE OWNER (BOB) AND ASKED HIM TO COME OUT AND EXPLAIN WHY I DID NOT GET WHAT I WAS PROMISED! I HAD MY FIRE AND BRIMSTONE ALL READY! HE WAS VERY COURTEOUS - SO I HAD TO BE COURTEOUS. HE CAME OUT AND LISTENED. (HEY - NOBODY DOES THAT!) HE VOLUNTEERED THAT THE WORK ON THAT SECTION WAS DISGUSTING (HIS WORD) AND IF WE LET HIM FIX IT HE WOULD ROOF OUR GARAGE FOR FREE!! WELL - WE PARTED HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY. LATER THAT DAY HE CALLED AND SAID HE DIDN'T WANT TO FIX IT - HE WANTED TO TEAR IT ALL OFF AND START OVER. THE RESULT - ALL IS GREAT. .....BUT..... WHILE IT IS GREAT TO GET A FREE ROOF ON OUR GARAGE...IT IS A MUCH BIGGER THRILL TO MEET SOMEONE WITH SUCH HIGH, HIGH ETHICS!

They where prompt, and provided an accurate estimate. They stated they would be there on a Monday and they were. They cleaned up after themselves and they gave me a follow up call to make sure everything was ok.

Everything went excellently. I was very pleased with the work. They were punctual, and got everything done in an amazing amount of time. I would use them again in the future, and recommend them to others.

The work was completed as scheduled over a period of two days. A couple of minor problems were corrected the following day. Bob Kaufman and the entire crew were great to work with.

It went fine. It took them just a few days and they cleaned up nicely when they were finished with it. We've used the company for many years on various projects.

My experience with them was good. They were responsive. They came out when they said they were going to. They cleaned up after the work was done. I would recommend them and use them again.

They came out for an estimate. The hail damage was last August, so I had them come in the fall. They worked with the insurance company. The initial estimate from the insurance company was less. We finally did the roof replacement this spring for a portion of the roof. The insurance company and the service provider negotiated about how much of the roof needed to be fixed. Once they agreed on all of that, I was able to sign a contract with the service provider. There were a lot of details for rain and ice shielding and smallish/minor things. It was fine; the insurance company was paying for it, and I got what I deserved.

They were very professional and they explained every item to me. Their pricing is good and based on what I have seen, we will use them shortly.

Fine. Mr. Kaufman showed up when he said he would, returned a precise written estimate to us when he said he would, showed up and performed the work he said he would.

Kaufman was highly recommended to me and I didn't get any other bids. The price for the roofing seemed reasonable for the size of the house and the shingle I chose which was lifetime. The roofing was about $20000 and the gutters & downspouts were about $7000. The rubber roof was $600. I was concerned about choosing the right shingle color and Kaufman was very nice about giving me houses to go look at with various colors. They kept to the time frame they quoted. Tom supervised and educated me about various options. The gutters and downspouts were of a good quality although they weren't described very well on the bid sheet. I believe Kaufman used a sub for the gutters & downspouts. I've never seen harder workers put on the roof in extreme heat. It went very quickly over two or three days.
