Description of Work: Furnace inspection

Description of Work: I used them for a long time then last couple calls said I had problems that would cost me a substantial amount. Called another service & they found nothing wrong. I felt like the servicemen were making commission or trying to get higher job. Maybe they thought single woman was not bright enough to see what was happening.

Description of Work: Examined operation of residential gas furnace to assure quality of performance.

Description of Work: Over the years they have installed a new furnace, water heater, a sink, and a water softener. They have a general maintenance program that is very helpful. It has been decent and they are very helpful when it is emergencies. They have a high priority for their customers.

Description of Work: We purchased a maintenance plan for both our Air and Furnace units. When we tried to use them, we had nothing but issues with the schedulers. Called in October for a furnace tune up, soonest they could get out was March, a call to a supervisor made it December. Called in April and May for an air conditioner tune up, both times was told they would call us right back and never did. Labor Day weekend, our air went out, Ashely, the scheduler refused to work with us in getting an attendant out without charging us an emergency fee, our plan clearly states the $99 fee would be waved. When I stated this, the 5 appointments she had a few minutes before were all taken, soonest she could get someone out was in 2 days.

Description of Work: I pay for an annual heating, cooling, and plumbing inspection. The services are great, the technicians competent and friendly. My only complaint is that the prices they charge for work beyond the annual inspections is usually very high. I would not buy an AC, furnace, toilet etc from them because you can get equally quality equipment at much better prices if you shop around a bit.

Description of Work: I had my 15 year old water heater replaced. I was being proactive before it failed. I have used Genz-Ryan for plumbing, heating and a/c for 15 years when my house was built. They are very responsive. I have a maintenance plan with them for both water and heat/ac so they come out each year to check to the systems out. They also give me options on other maintenance items that may need to be changed. Their prices are in line with others, I found that out on my research for changing my water heater.

Description of Work: The first guy came to our house and was reluctant to give us a quote because he said "If you compare prices you won't choose us." Our hot water tank had burst and he left the water running out the bottom in our basement while my invalid wife was left at home. When we complained, they sent out a much more professional and experienced person who did an excellent job. Really, Genz-Ryan? And 3 of our boys have worked for them - none currently.

Description of Work: We have been having trouble with our shower components (installed by someone else). They have been out several times and contacted supplier for new parts. This visit is to pick out new components, they wanted me to see options and approve before they ordered. Have always been pleased with service and professionalism of staff that come to home and staff you deal with on the phone.
