Had several different types of carpet to choose from. Awesome and quick, professional installation.

Andy was helpful with providing samples of vinyl plank that we were interested in for our particular needs. Once we made our selection and decided on when we wanted it installed, Andy took care of it in a very timely and professional manner. He was punctual and efficient and cleaned up very nicely when finished. We couldn't be happier.

We came to know about Andy and Distinctive Flooring through another contractor we hired to do a lot of work on our home. That contractor sub-contracted vinyl flooring installation out to Andy. We had to go to Andy's showroom to pick out the flooring and we were very impressed with the showroom and Andy's interaction with us. While there we decided to speak with Andy about installing carpet in our home. He asked us a number of questions, let us look at various carpets that fit what we were looking for and then gave us a quick quote. He let us walk out of his showroom with the samples so that we could be sure they were what we wanted. When he showed up to do the vinyl flooring several days later he also came with answers to some questions we had left him with. He had even taken the time on his own to research some things we hadn't even asked him but he could tell by some of our comments were things that were important to us. He took measurements and then at that time he did a more exact quote. We had already gotten quotes from two other vendors (Home Depot and Empire) and Andy's quote was very competitive. His quote was about $300 more than Home Depot but because we were getting better carpet from him and we felt his service was superb and because we support small business, we decided to give him our business. We finally placed the order with Andy and set a date that was somewhere around 2 weeks away. One day prior to the installation date Andy called and was quite concerned because the carpet had not yet arrived. He was very apologetic. He had the carpet for one room which was different from the rest of the house so he came out the next day and installed the carpet in that one room. He also had good news which was the carpet would be here the next day. He had already indicated it would be a two-day installation so he started the installation on the rest of the house the next day and completed the installation the following day. The whole time during the installation he was very pleasant. He is not the most talkative person which is GREAT to us. He comes to work!!!! Interacting with him was great and the final outcome is that the carpet was installed in a timely fashion, it was installed well and we were treated with great respect during the entire process. We definitely feel our money was well spent!!!!

They were featured in a do-it-yourself magazine, but I did not have the time to DIY. We were able to bring samples home from the showroom to try in our kitchen, then called to tell them our choice. They came out the next week, removed the old tile, put in a new subfloor and laid the tile. It was quick, easy and looks so much nicer than what was there. The tile has held up with zero issues through the holidays.
