I was looking to have my 6/7 year old all-in-one computer ‘cleaned up’. It was running super slow. I was nervous to have this done and was putting it off for close to 6 months. I even considered just buying a new computer. I called a few places before finding Jon at Custom PC Solutions. Jon spent 26 minutes on the phone with me answering all of my questions and concerns. My greatest concern was someone poking around my computer at my personal stuff. Jon assured me that just like you’d trust a lawyer, you’d have to trust your computer guy. And I felt like I could trust him. He’s been doing this for almost 20 years with loyal customers, so I took the chance having Jon ‘clean up’ my computer. The drop off/scheduling was easier than easy. He already told me he works from his home office so I expected to pull up to a house. I called when I was outside and he met me at the door. He told me about 48 hours and my computer would be ready. Which was about 5 days sooner than the other places. The next day he called, I thought it was just a question but he told me my computer was done and should be muuuuch faster now. I picked it up, paid half as much as the other guys wanted and it took half as long. I got home, plugged it in, clicked around and was shocked. Its SO MUCH FASTER. Pictures don’t take 30 seconds to open anymore, clicking within files doesn’t take but a second. I’m actually shocked on how fast it is and the computer actually moves faster than what my hand does. This was crazy easy. I wish I did this sooner. I wish I had another computer for Jon to repair. Nice guy, fair, and honest. Don’t hesitate to have Jon fix your computer, you’ll be so satisfied. Definitely would recommend Jon again. Besides making a special visit on a Saturday, he really took time to teach me about my wifi. He had a special tool with him which measured the wifi strength, which I thought was impressive.

John did an excellent job troubleshooting and then cleaning up my laptop. I was having several issues with it and anticipated being told to replace it. He was very knowledgeable about the brand and previous issues associated with my particular model. In the end, he cleaned it up and said that it would serve my purposes without any further action needed! He turned it around in less than 24 hours and his price was extremely reasonable.

Jon took my laptops on a Monday afternoon and by Tuesday afternoon they were ready for pickup. He pulled virus' from the slow one and uninstalled the anti virus from the one that wouldn't boot up. He installed another antivirus from Microsoft and brought both of them back to functioning computers. The cost of the service was for both computers. Jon was very friendly and answered my questions so I could understand. I would recommend his service to anyone that asked.

I delivered the computer to Jon and picked it up after he finished his work. The two trips were about 24 hours apart. When I picked up the machine, Jon reviewed a number of methods to backup data and provided a printed page identifying specific software and vendors. The morning after I reconnected my computer, I called Jon to ask specific questions about my use of the two sets of security software now serving as primary protectors. He answered my questions. I now have access to all my browsers and the popups are gone.

Jon was professional, personable, courteous and prompt in all regards. I was extremely pleased with the services he performed. He contacted me with progress and we set a time for him to come to our home to insure that all aspects of the work were done completely and to our satisfaction. I will be recommending him to my friends and colleagues for their computer needs.

My overall impression was very positive. He was very upfront about how much it might cost. The estimate came in exactly as the cost was at the end. Even though, he found some extra little glitch. He included that in the final cost for no extra charge. He did it in the time that was promised. It seemed like a fair price. The nice thing was if it did not end up solving the problem, he would eat the cost of the parts that it took to price fix it.

Perfect. It was under warranty so all I had to pay was labor.

I called Cutsom PC Solutions because it wasn't working properly. Jon gave me his thought on what the problems might be and gave me his price estimate. I dropped of my computer and was told it may be a few days. It was completed the next day. The price was on the low end of the estimate. The problem was fixed and my computer is working great.

On 12/23/12 my PC showed a CPU Fan has failed error message. After looking at reviews on Angie's List I called Custom PC Solutions. Mr.Rollo is an independent business owner working out of his home. Even with the holidays he had the part delivered and completed the work in a week. When I picked it up he spent a half hour with me discussing security options and general computing options. I could not be happier with his work and even took a few extra business cards for co-workers who have asked me about a " computer guy" for their issues.l

I dropped my HP laptop off for Jon to give me an estimate on repairing/replacing the mousepad left click button. Additionally, I wanted a virus check, system evaluation, and recommendation about whether RAM upgrade was advised. In a very short time, especially considering the age of the laptop and the lack of available repair parts, he was able to give me a solid estimate of the cost within 3 days. At his sound recommendation, I elected not to repair the mousepad button due to extremely high cost of repair. The laptop simply isn't worth that amount of money. Jon also recommended not to upgrade RAM, as it was performing adequately. He is honest and reliable. He could have easily sold me on having the work performed and had me pay a $500 invoice, but instead he got $50 for being honest and upfront. We will absolutely use him again without hesitation.
