I really enjoyed the visit with the consultant and she was a big help to me in picking which shade and color to choose. However, the product was too expensive so I didn't go through with an order.

Both the designer, Mindy, and the installer, John, were terrific. Mindy had a good sense of what manufacturer would best meet my need, and was very helpful in choosing the appropriate color. John was quick, courteous, and competent. He was very helpful in explaining how to maintain my blind. I also appreciate that I received this service after purchasing a Groupon, which meant they were getting paid less than they normally would for the same blind. I can think of nothing that would have improved this purchase and installation, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

It tuned out very well. He was helpful in deciding the right color for the room, and the quality of the blinds was very nice. We were very satisfied with them.

went like a charm. blinds actually arrived about a month before I had thought they would. Yeah for fast service. Installer was punctual, neat, did a thorough, neat and fast installation. I couldn't be happier.

Julie Dixon was the representative for the vendor, and she was absolutely friendly and helpful as she measured the areas where the blinds and shutters would be installed, and helped advise me on the combinations and colors that would go best with the existing color scheme in the rooms I chose. Sadly, the quoted cost even with discount was higher than I thought it would be (although still more than reasonable, as compared to other vendors offering similar services). Because I had an out-of-state trip involving family coming up and a few other expenses that were far more pressing, I decided to hold off on having the items installed, because I wanted to wait until I could pay 75% of the price in cash. Julie was marvelously understanding, and promised to keep the treatment area measurements and my selections in her files, so I could contact her again when I have the money available and am ready for the installation to be completed. I apologized profusely for taking up her time, and she was exceedingly gracious about the matter. I'll most definitely be calling them back to do the work once I have the funds. Julie's positive attitude, her low-pressure demeanor, her willingness to find items that look great but that also will be flexible with a client's budget, and her clear interest in obtaining my business in the future made her a delight to work with.

Julie was great...she came out promptly to measure and provide costs of blinds and installation. John came out to my home to install the blinds. He was professional and courteous and provided excellent service. The install went smoothly and the blinds look amazing. What a different in how the room looks now compared to before. Very modern. I will work with this team again. Great job. The price was a little higher than I expected even with the discounted rate.

I thoroughly enjoyed visiting with friendly Stephanie when she arrived with her books of blinds samples. She was very efficient, and I made my selection quickly with her guidance. The blinds arrived within the promised time frame along with the very nice and capable installer. One small negative - after the installer left, I noticed one of the vanes was longer than the others; a telephone call to report the issue resulted in a new vane in a few days accompanied by a sincere apology for the slip-up. This was my second experience with Custom Drapery and Blinds, having purchased bottom-up/top-down room darkening shades several years earlier. CD & B is well represented in my home!

The service was not the best. I was not particularly thrilled and thought I would have gotten more for the value of the deal. They measured and hung 2 basic blinds for me. The staff was very nice and professional. Making an appointment was very easy and they showed up right on time.

The service was absolutely fabulous. We picked out the materials within a week and a half and the install was about three weeks later and that was great because they initially said it would be four to six weeks. Stephanie was very professional and helpful. She could not have been nicer. Bill was the installer and he was very fast and you could tell he really knew what he was doing. One of the shades was not tracking right and they noticed this and they replaced the shade later on at no charge. The professionalism was top notch and they were really easy to work with. I would use them again and I plan to.

From the fashion consultant (Linda Carney) to the two installers (Don and Charlie) the whole process was a very pleasant experience.It was a very professional job. The installers arrived on time, were very pleasant, installed the shades in a very short period of time, cleaned up the boxes and wrapping that the shades came in and took the time to look for a shade pull that was missing from one of my existing cellular shades. I would definitely recommend Don and Charlie again and give them both "attaboys" for a job well done. I am extremely pleased with the shades which have really updated my kitchen. Many thanks again and I would definitely hire this company again.

Mike was very good about getting the job done and done right.

They were prompt, professional, very clean, very quick, picked up after themselves after they left, and even took the old blinds with them to dispose of them for me. The price was also very, very fair. When I told them that I found them on Angie's List they even gave me a discount on the service.

She was knowledgeable about the products and offered a good selection, although she only brought the higher priced blinds samples into my house. When I asked about other brands, she told me she had them, but they were in her car. The installer, however was great! He removed his shoes, installed the blinds, took down the old ones, and cleaned up. He was very pleasant. He answered all my questions.

Susan arrived on time. Installers , Don and Charlie called for a date to install the blinds. Arrived on time, completed work within an hour. I'm very happy with both service and product. I will be using them again.

I have some very large windows in my living room, five which are high and out of reach. I had some pull down cordless window blinds installed. The company was very fast in getting back to me and setting up the estimate. I had to specifically mention I was using Angie's list and not a member of one of those bulk buy companies (costco/sam's club). The order took several weeks to be made and shipped. Unfortunately two of the windows were measured improperly and had to be brought back down to Custom Drapery and Blinds shop to be refitted to the proper size. The installer was quick and courteous. I would have give them an excellent if it wasn't for the miss measured blinds and the back and forth calls regarding when they were going to get back to me with the proper sized one. Otherwise I was totally pleased with their service and would definitely use them again. I really like my pull down blinds, they do an excellent job of blocking out the sun when its overhead and it blends in with the frame so well that my wife didn't even notice they had been installed until i physically pulled down the shades. She was slightly slack jawed at how long they had been up there. The price of drapery and blinds never cease to amaze me, but fortunately I was able to buy an Angie's list deal which helped me save a lot.

The sales agent was very pleasant and recommended window treatments based on my feedback. I declined the estimate once I found out the price. Without knowing the prices ahead of time, it is difficult to know the value of the "big deal."

She came to my home, measured windows and took a lot of time with me deciding on texture and colors. She was very pleasant and knowledgeable regarding their products. I was not able to afford the purchase at that time. Will definitely contact them when I can purchase the window coverings. I'm sorry but I don't remember the exact date that she came to my home. It was before Christmas.

On both visits they were friendly and got down to business. We were disappointed with the end result. The drapes seem "poofy" and do not hang tight and crisp. The installer did briefly use a steamer on the drapes but they have never hung to our satisfaction. Our biggest disappointment is that the drapes are made from a number of panels of fabric sewn together vertically. We have never seen drapes made this way. Any drapes we have owned in the past have all been made from one piece of fabric for each side of the set of drapes. Lastly, we were a bit surprised that the owner never followed up with us to learn if we were happy with the drapes.

We've used this provider twice and the service has been exemplary, both times. The consultation appointments have been perfect, and the installation has been quick and in the time frame provided. I can't fault any portion of my experience with this provider, and will use them again (though I may have to wait for another Big Deal because window treatment pricing seems insane to me :) ).

This was a nightmare that began on 8/22/13 when Mike, an eager salesman, convinced me that material covered blinds would be a great choice for my bedroom window. I had 3 windows measured, but decided to begin with the one window. His insult about my existing blinds took me by surprise. On 10/15/13 the blinds were finally installed by Rick. The material was too long and dragged on the sill. The valance did not cover the hardware of the louvers. The rod was not centered within the frame of the window. Mike came back out, removed the fabric (to be altered at the factory) and only when I pointed out that the valance did not cover the top of the blinds well enough, he said the brackets were wrong and needed to be replaced. When I told him the slats did not come close enough to the frame of the window on the sides and that I was not happy, he said, "well, you did not pay very much for these!" I called him on this remark, and he claimed he was "just joking." I talked with Shirley about this and she assured me that Mike had worked for them for a long time and he would rectify issues with the blinds. On 11/14/13 I left a message for Mike wondering when the fabric would be here. ON 11/18/13 I had a message from him that the fabric was in and a "hanger" would set up an appointment to hang the new hardware. This did not happen. I reached Mike on 11/25 and he got back to me on 11/26/13 and set an appointment for 12/2/13. On 12/2/13 Mike changed the brackets which solved the issue of covering the hardware at the top. He hung the fabric which is the correct length. The louvers do not hang straight, which he blamed on the manufacturer. I am frankly appalled at the appearance of this "professionally made and installed" product and the lack of professional service displayed by the salesman.

They were very professional, pleasant and nice when I spoke with them. It wasn't going to work out for the project I had in mind.
