When I called to make an appointment they were able to be to my house within a week. There was no rush to pick out blinds, no pressure to purchase ones which were more costly. I was not sure what to have installed on the patio doors and the sales rep was able to help me pick out window blinds which are working great. Delivery time was as estimated and fit my schedule well. Overall, I was extremely pleased with everything about this company. Very professional, very punctual and terrific quality.

Michael had competitive prices and with some of the less common brands, he could provide a very resonable price. He had other brands than just the big name brands that he could provide. We were able to use a combination of brands and styles to get exactly what we wanted. Because of the different brands and styles, the lead-times were not the same but Michael worked with us to get them installed at our convenience. We will use him in the future and would recommend him to anyone that needs blinds.

Michael came out to our house twice to help us understand what we needed to order and what would suit our style and budget. We are thrifty, DIY, coupon toting people and Michael's prices were fair and we know we got great quality for our money. He and his wife came out on Saturdays, perfect for my husband and I who both work crazy downtown jobs, and were really flexible and accommodating to our schedule. The quality of the product is great and we used our 10% off Angie's List price. I was referred to Michael from our general contractor and am so pleased we worked with his business. His installer Rick even installed all of our curtain rods for only $5 a bracket - it was wonderful to cross so many items off our honey-do list so quickly. Mr. Mike and Mr. Shirley came with samples galore and spent much time helping to find the right fabric. Mr. Rick came to install drapes and despite a small snag, got it all done - on time and well done.

Mike and Shirley came by our home to take measurements and to give us an estimate. They called in a advance to let me know they were running late, by about 10 minutes. The only problem with the whole experience was that they weren't always on the same page while taking measurements and giving us the estimate. As they were giving us the estimate, they suggested waiting an extra week to place the order, so that we could take advantage of a manufacturer's deal. We really appreciated this, as it saved us some money. A few weeks later, the installer, Rick, called to let us know our blinds were in and that he would be in the area the next afternoon. The whole process took about 5 weeks (including the extra week wait for the manufacturer's deal). Overall, I am happy with the final product.

Michael is very rude and very unprofessional. His measurements were wrong, therefore the blinds ordered were wrong. The installer couldn't read the order form and I had to walk him through it. We ended up with one blind that didn't fit any of our windows. When we told him the blinds were wrong and asked him to come out and remeasure, but he was adamant that his measurements were correct and that it was a manufacturer mistake. However, when the new blind came it was wrong again. Now there are huge gaps on both sides of the windows where the light pours in every morning on several windows. I think he should rename his company "Problems and Mistakes by Michael Esch". I'd never use him again.

They were pleasant and on time. I had no problems with the estimate, but somebody else came in with a lower price. Otherwise, I would have used them. I had used them probably 20 years ago when I bought little blinds. My experience with them went on fine.

They came out to the house. We looked at many samples. He measured all the windows & provided an estimate on the spot. Not long after that we got a call to schedule the installation. The blinds look great! Hoping to be able to call him back again soon to finish the basement!

It went really well. When I did replace the vertical blinds I had in my living and dining room, I got double valance so when they took the old ones down, there were holes left in the wall. He sent the guy to put the blinds back up, painted over it and everything looked brand new. Mike is very friendly and I have known him for many years.

Michael helped me with color selections as well. The price for three rooms exceeded my budget, but Michael did not make me feel bad about my decision to stick with my budget. I ended up ordering blinds for only 2 rooms. Michael gave me an estimated date of when the blinds would be ready. The blinds actually arrived a few days earlier than predicted. The installer call me and set up an appointment after work. He arrived on time and took down the existing shades before installing the new ones. The blinds fit perfectly and I have been using the blinds for several months now without any issues. I will definitely contact Custom Drapery and Blinds when I am ready to redo additional rooms.
