Crown of Minnesota

For the same price as what was at Rainbow in Bloomington, we got a lot more swingset for the $$$. Not an inexpensive purchase but chose Crown Of Mn (Monkey Tower) because of the sale price (we purchased in May), the ability to add on as our kids get older (club house or other upgrades), the lifetime warranty on the Woodard because the family owned business has been great to work with. Awesome playset!!! Only snafu...Installers cracked 2 boards and did not install the slide correctly and we are currently waited to to get this fixed. Crown has been very good at communicating with us what the status is with the replacement boards

We wanted a playset in our backyard for our 3 1/2 year old son, something he could grow into, and something we could use with him. Our backyard isn't very big, and has a funny shape. The showroom was really great, with many examples of what we could get. The sales staff was also very low-pressure, and was willing to put together many different bids. We were concerned about our yard size, and they came out and did a site visit, even measuring to make sure we wouldn't hit power lines - something I never thought of. They said it was 2 1/2 weeks turnaround, and about 2 weeks after we ordered the playset, they came to install it. Installation took under 4 hours, and they washed off all the mud, etc and left our back yard clean. Our son loves the playset, and we can go on it with him. While you can get cheaper playsets, we liked the lifetime guarantee and the service we received from Crown. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a playset that will grow with their child.

Crown of Minnesota did a WONDEFUL job installing a new swing set for our toddler son. The entire experience was great. We were able to try out all the different swing sets in their showroom to see which one was appropriate for our 2/12 year old son. After deciding on a swing set, the VP of Crown of Minnesota came out personally to do a site survey to ensure our backyard had enough room and the hill was not going to cause of problem. Immediately after the site visit, we were slotted to get our new swing set. Just a few short weeks the team showed up to install it. They took down and hauled away our old swing set and in less than 4 hours, we had a new swing set for our son. We all are thrilled with their product and confidence it is built to last! Thank you Crown of Minnesota :)

They were fabulous. They put the whole thing up in 3 hours in a rainstorm while the kids watched. It was fabulous; it would have taken us 3 months to do it ourselves. They were very efficient. They told me when they would come out and they came at that exact time. A year later I got rid of the baby swing and got a two-seater swing. They came right out and put that up and tightened up all the bolts. I didn't expect them to come out and put it on so that was nice. I would recommend them for a new swing set. They were very low key and they showed us what they had and then let us decide. They didn't do a high-pressure sale like some other company. It was very high quality so it should last a long time.

We had a great experience with Crown. We visited their showroom in the spring, and made a down payment on a play set. We told them we wouldn't be ready to have it installed until later in the summer. We unexpectedly had to wait until later (it turned out to be October), and talked to Crown about possibly paying for the play set in installments over the winter, and having it delivered in the spring. They couldn't have been nicer about it. It turned out that we were able to buy it this fall. In the time between initially ordering the play set in the spring, and actually having it delivered, I changed the options on it a few times. They were really patient about that. When it was time for it to be installed, the guys came to do the work when they said they would, and it went great. They were very helpful about finding the best place for it in the yard, and helping us figure out which way to have it face. They really seemed to enjoy what they do. Since then, my kids have been playing on the climber for HOURS every day. I'm so happy that we went ahead and did this. We had looked at a competitor's play sets at the fair, and I had talked to them on the phone. Their customer service was just not very polite; I felt like they took my business for granted. I'm so glad we went with Crown. I don't think we could have gotten a better quality play set, and the wooden roof really looks great, instead of lots of colors. It's not only fun for the kids, it looks awesome too.

I was very happy from beginning to end of our experience. All the individuals that I spoke with were very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful as I was making my decision, not to mention patient! I loved the fact that I was able to have the play set installed professionally and the installers were great- less than 4 hours and they were done! Especially important since the kids were impatient to get out there and play!

Great. The owners are super nice and professional. They care about you and help you select a playset. They even called a couple times and arranged the installation a day before my daughter's birthday party (something I mentioned would be nice, but didn't think would happen). It was a hit at the party. Overall it was a smooth purchase. Great customer service. We got a deal on a closeout model. All playsets of this type are expensive (possibly too expensive), but I think they have a good competitive price for this type of thing. Would definitely use them again.

These guys understand customer service! Not only were they low pressure on the sales front, everything from purchase to installation to support is done pleasantly and professionally. They helped us determine the best play set for our needs, had good advice on details, and came to "survey" the land prior to installation and allay our concerns about location. The installation team was quick, thorough, professional, and friendly. The unit itself is solid and well-built. We are very pleased. In addition to their professionalism during sales and install, their support has been fantastic when we have called with questions. I would not hesitate to recommend these folks to anyone.

They helped us work within our cost range and type of wood to use for the equipment. They came out and it took them four hours to finish erecting the jungle-gym set.

Fabulously well! We were originally under the impression it would be up to two and a half weeks from purchase until installation and Crown called after only one week and said they could get the set installed the next day if we were available! I re-arranged my schedule to make it happen. The two installers were early if not exactly on time, very friendly yet professional, and did a fabulous job getting the play set installed per my instructions. My kids have been blissed out by the new play set and swings ever since.

The salespeople were friendly. The swing set arrived a few days earlier than estimated. They were on time with their delivery and set up. The swing set looks great. I do have a bit of buyer's remorse that we didn't go with the competitor, even though it's more expensive. The competitor doesn't have the wooden side braces that come out from the clubhouse. We also ended up buying from the competitor (another report done on them)swings because they were definitely higher quality. I will say, however, that our son was only 15 mo. old when we purchased the play set. He had trouble making it down the competitor's slides on his own. He has no trouble going down this slide because it is much more curved. The trade off is that most adults are a little tight for the slide.

Everyone we worked with at Crown was excellent. They were extremely helpful in selecting what kind of system we'd get the most use out of without any high pressure sales tactics. They had a consultant come to our house twice to ensure all of our questions were answered and it was installed a few days earlier than expected. We never thought we'd spend this much on playground equipment but it's been well worth it. It has been used almost everyday since installation (including winters) and the quality is superior. Even the adults can enjoy it. A pleasure to work with a company like this...

This is expensive, but we thought it was a better value compared to other similar playground equipment. We got free installation on a Spring special. We were able to get equipment installed two weeks earlier than scheduled due to a cancellation. Salesman was helpful and informative. Demo equipment can be viewed at NE Minneapolis location. Installers were fast and polite.

THIS IS THE ONLY PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT TO GET. VERY HIGH QUALITY AND DURABLE AND SOLID. ADULTS CAN USE AND IT DOESN'T MOVE. MY KIDS USE IT EVERYDAY THEY CAN. BETTER THAN OTHER COMPANIES LIKE THIS. THIS ONE HAS WOODEN ROOF ON PLAY FORT AREA. CREW INSTALLED QUICKLY AND NEATLY. YOU CAN GO TO THEIR STORES AT THE MALLS OR IN NORTH EAST MINNEAPOLIS. TO CHECK OUT EQUIPMENT. HAVE ORDERED ADDITION EQUIPMENT AND BEEN HAPPY WITH THAT ALSO. IT IS NOT WORTH IT TO BUY CHEAPER PRODUCTS. INSTEAD OF GETTING KIDS A BUNCH OF CHEAP TOYS SAVE UP OR ASK FOR MONEY FOR GIFTS TOWARDS A PLAY SET FUND. WE LOVE THIS INVESTMENT AS DO OUR 3 KIDS. WE HAVE OTHER NEIGHBORS WHO HAVE GOOD RELIABILITY WITH THEIRS ALSO.

THEY CAME TO OUR HOUSE A DAY BEFORE WE WERE MOVING THE REST OF OUR STUFF TO OUR NEW HOUSE. THEY TOOK APART EVERYTHING VERY CAREFULLY AND LOADED IT INTO THEIR TRUCK. WE WENT WITH THEM TO OUR NEW HOUSE TO SHOW THEM WHERE WE WANTED IT. THEY DID A GREAT JOB PUTTING IT BACK UP. MY KIDS AND THE NEIGHBOR KIDS LOVE THE PLAYGROUND. IT WILL LAST A LIFETIME.

WE WERE ABLE TO GET A SPRING DISCOUNT EVEN THOUGH WE DIDN'T WANT THE SYSTEM INSTALLED UNTIL MID-SUMMER. THEY WERE VERY RESPONSIVE TO QUESTIONS PRE- AND POST-INSTALLATION. THE OFFICE STAFF WAS ALWAYS VERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY. THE CREW WAS PUNCTUAL AND WORKED HARD DESPITE POOR WORKING CONDITIONS, (IT HAD RAINED RECENTLY AND OUR YARD HAD NO GRASS.) CREW DID A GREAT JOB CLEANING UP AFTER THEMSELVES. THE SET IS WELL CONSTRUCTED AND LOOKS BEAUTIFUL.
