CARPET KING

Carpet was not in by promised date. When they finally installed it was 6 feet short, padding was already down so had to walk around on staples and have the inconvenience of having main level torn apart for over a week. I also had to take an extra day off work for them to come back second time to install. I called store to see about getting reimbursed for the extra day of work and was told supervisor would contact me. I waited 3 weeks without hearing anything so called back and got his name and number. I was told they were sorry but could not do anything. Horrible customer service, I would not recommend them!

The showroom is very nice and I am very happy that I got the look I wanted in my home. My installer did an awesome job but the stress of my purchase was very difficult to deal with. I purchased Core-tec Plus from US Floor.

The sales person helped us select a carpet that we love! She had suggestions for different types of carpet that would fit our needs. When installation was completed - the installation coordinator left the carpet scraps for 3 days in our garage.

Salesman came to the house to provide a quote. He was upstairs taking measurements, I went up there and as I was in the hallway, he came out of the bathroom and commented that he had an upset tummy. He showed me samples, I explained that I wanted my husband to also look at samples. He returned a few days later to show my husband samples and we told him we would get back to him. We contacted him and he came out a few days later and we signed a contract. At this visit, he mentioned he was surprised to see that we were obtaining a quote from another company. He stated "I thought I was here to sign the contact". While in our home, he was vulgar, rude and made horrible comments about my daughter. He also had a piece of scrap paper he crumbled up and left on my kitchen table. I have it, as I assumed someone from Carpet King would contact us in regards to customer satisfaction, and I could show it to them. No one has contacted us.

Overall it was a good experience and we will use Carpet King again if we are in need of their products. The installer arrived promptly on the day of the install and was very professional. He was very neat while he was working and did a very good job of cleaning up when he was finished.

Salesperson didn't tell me that I had to remove my old carpet, I noticed that in the fine print when I signed the contract. Salesperson never called me to let me know when carpet would be installed, I called asking and got the date. The installer got some grease marks on my walls in the stairwell and 1 spot in the doorway on the newly installed carpet.
