Capital Construction, specifically Jordan Muellers, did a great job of coordinating the replacement of my roof and a window after some hail damage. Work was completed when it was suppose to be, and the clean up afterward was great! I definitely recommend their service.

Overall I'm quite satisfied with the work that Capital Construction did re-roofing my house. This review is a very positive and solid B and I'd say that the entirety of the 1 letter that was removed is due to the crew and crew issues that are somewhat out of the control of Capital Construction. They did a great job of addressing the issues that happened though, which is why I'm giving a positive review! My house was a large 40+ square, steep and complex roof that had 28 year old cedar on it. The sales person (Jay) met with me, did a thorough review of the existing roof prior to talking about any options. Thankfully this isn't one of those companies that refuses to talk with you without "your wife present" - my goodness those places are annoying. Either way, I had done research and wanted the Owens Corning Duration to replace my cedar roof. Capital is Platinum certified with OC, so that gave some level of confidence that helped sway me going with them vs. several other bids I took on the job. Jay was great throughout. Very responsive. I liked that he was the sales person but also the lead on the actual job. One point of contact through the entire process. Everything was on time from delivery to cleanup. It took them 2 full, 12 hour days in some hot sun to get the job done. I have no complaints so far with the end result. The roof looks great. All the permits were properly pulled, the bid was competitive and the inspection went without issue. The only reason for the lack of 1 letter (again, not so much Capital's fault, but I can't review the crew separately) was a few issues with the crew: 1. One or more of the crew smoked, threw their butts on the ground and never cleaned them up. This was not just a couple here and there... 2. After a long second day, the cleanup (which was emphasized as a selling point of Capital due to their thoroughness) was dreadful and unacceptable. I decided to do a quick sweep of my driveway the next morning before bringing my cars in the driveway. I immediately found nails and staples. I had to spend a significant amount of my own time clearing the driveway just to get my cars in the garage. You can look in the pictures for what I found. Unacceptable. In my driveway. It is not a large driveway. 3. After I told Jay about the issue, he said a crew would come out. They didn't. He had to contact them and they eventually did come out and do a sweep around the house. 4. I ended up with a nail in my tire and needed to get it patched (see other picture). Capital offered to pay for the patch. Fortunately it was covered as a warranty repair and only cost me about 2 hours of my time. 5. The crew damaged two downspouts. Again, Capital was great in resolving this issue and brought along two replacements. Overall a very positive experience. I feel like a little bit of sloppiness caused the majority of the issues, but that is somewhat understandable from the crew working 2 - 12 hour days to get everything wrapped up.

Working with Cole from Capital Construction was a great experience. Having had dozens of contractors through the neighborhood Cole stood out. He was to the point, this is what you need and our company can get it done. Cole's persistence with the insurance company made it a pain free transaction. If you are ever in the market for a roof replacement I would highly recommend Capital Construction! Thanks again Cole for your professionalism.

Our project manager Colton Ward was extremely helpful going through the total process on our roof replacement. Worked hard for us to ensure we received new skylights and not just the frame replacement. He was easy to get hold of when I had questions. Were delighted the appearance of our roof and no issues at. We had extensive hail damage last spring and Capital Construction was in the area working. Even before I made the claim they had a tarp over the damaged skylight. The construction crew came and did the entire roof and skylight in one day. Replacing the 7 damaged windows did take some extra time and work on their part, negotiating the cost with the insurance company and getting custom made windows. Dan was present during every step of the process. I recommend Capital Construction.

Went great , Colton and Jay came by and asked if they could check to see if we had and damage from hail. They did an assessment found damage go a hold of ins and got the ok to do the roof and siding .We mostly worked with Colton he was amazing. Would highly recommend them.

The employees were respectful and friendly. They worked diligently and carefully cleaned up all unused materials upon completion and before they left our residence. We can't say enough good things about our experience with Capital Construction. They inspected our roof and confirmed major hail damage. They worked with our insurance adjuster(who had previously denied the claim) and made the case that a new roof was necessary. In addition, they managed all insurance company issues. Before starting work they went to the neighbors and informed them of work times and were considerate of our seriously ill neighbor. After a hail storm swept through the area, many contractors contacted homeowners about roof replacement. I decided to go with Capital Construction because John Barton seemed very knowledgeable about insurance claims and was much less pushy than other contractors I was approached by. Never having submitted a homeowner's insurance claim before, I was a bit confused by the process, and John helped to explain each step of the process and was very responsive and communicative when I had any questions and when scheduling. The office staff handled all of the various payments between my insurance company, my lending company, and I, and provided all of the required documentation that I requested to show my mortgage lender. I'd recommend Capital Construction especially for those individuals who are intimidated by the claims process.

Capital construction responded quickly and worked with my insurance agent after a major storm damaged our roof. the representative for Capital Construction not only answered all of my questions and did the work well and in a timely fashion, they went out of their way to make sure i understood the process and walked me through what could have been a much more difficult time.

They were great. Kept in constant contact of when things were happening. Roofing company sent wrong shingles and Travis noticed it right away. Got everything taken care of with delivery of new shingles and roofers were done in one day. Heather in the office took care of all paperwork and made everything easier for us. Great job!

Capital Construction installed roofs on my last two homes in Burnsville, MN. They are very professional, prompt and RELIABLE. Derek came out to perform my roof inspection and then met with my insurance inspector. He had gotten both homes approved easily. Derek and his team assisted me with the whole process. Both roof installations were stress free. The roofers were friendly, courteous and answered any questions I had during the installation. They came back after the initial clean up to insure there were no nails on the property. All I can say is that I will never use anyone else other than Capital Construction. I have had other roofing companies come out and they were not able to get my roof replacement approved with my insurance company. So, don't waste your time with anyone else. I've had several people go on my roof since the storm in 2017 and no damage was ever found. Jay Busch knocked at my door in May and wanted to take a look. He was probably the 3rd person in two months and my initial reaction was to just slam the door but his approach, demeanor, professionalism and knowledge really impressed me. I recall my exact words were, "if you want to waste your time, go ahead". He not only had closeup pictures of the damage but more details than I care to know about shingles and roofs in general. His knowledge about insurance claim process indicated that he knows his stuff. My new roof was installed in July. Jay kept me up to date throughout the process and was very prompt in responding to my questions. I would definitely select Jay and Capital Construction for future needs and will recommend him to family and friends.
