Burnsville Heating & Air Conditioning

It was very good. The salesman was exceptional. They were very knowledgable. They were on time. I would highly recommend.

While this is not the 1st time Burnsville Heating & Air Conditioning has come to my rescue (including a very cold New Year's Eve when the furnace quit working & they came & repaired it!), it certainly entailed more actual work on their part. I couldn't be a more satisfied customer.

From start to finish these guys were awesome, Dave the salesman was exceptional! They worked with me to get a reasonable price and helped with explaining all the rebates that went with the units. Installation was great and have certainly seen a huge reduction in my heating/ac bills. I give Burnsville Heat and A/C my highest recommendation.

I came home (from out of town) on a Sun eve to find the AC on the house not working. I called Burnsville Heating & AC first thing Mon morning as I had used them twice before (for my furnace) and been happy with the service. I can't remember the woman's name who answered the phone, but she was courteous and asked a few questions and made sure I had checked some simple fixes before setting up a service call. She offered me an appointment (3hr window) later that morning, but I had to work and since it was my first day back to work in a week, I had no idea if I'd be able to get away to meet someone at my house. She set me up for the first appointment Tues am. Ralph was the technician who performed the work. He called shortly before 8am to tell me his name and confirm that he would be at my house in a few minutes. He introduced himself when he got here and provided his business card. He got to work immediately checking out the problem. He quickly diagnosed the issue. He showed me the part that had gone bad, explained what it did, what the new part cost and cost of labor to install. He also checked over the rest of the unit, checked coolant levels, etc. He also explained that if it had been a more major repair, he would not have recommended repairing my unit since it is 10 yrs old. He also gave a rough estimate (on my request) for replacement of the unit. He found that overall the unit was in good condition with no coolant leaks, etc.He quickly replaced the damaged part and made sure everything was working properly. He made some final checks and went over everything with me. He was very professional, arrived right on time, cleaned up after himself. It's never fun to deal with heating/cooling repairs, but all 3 times I've used Burnsville Heating & AC, the service has been timely and very professional. I first used them ~5 yrs ago when I woke up to no heat in my house on Christmas eve. I had called Center Point as I had used them to replace the water heater earlier that year. I was offered an appointment 3 DAYS later (keep in mind it was December and I was without heat). The woman was rude and pretty much had the attitude that since I didn't have Center Points Home Service program that they really didn't care to help me. I found Burnsville Heating's number on the furnace and called them. They came out within a few hours and fixed the problem quickly and professionally. I would highly recommend Burnsville Heating and Air Conditioning!

We used the Angies List coupon and we were very happy with the speed we got the estimate in and the furnace was in within a few days. It was very professionally done and cleaned up. We were very happy with that, it was a bad time for the air-conditioning to go out, but the fan went out, so we had to have the whole furnace replaced. It was one of the hot days and it started to cool off and then all of a sudden the temperature just spiked up to the high 90’s of our air-conditioning and I think that was when we used them. The coupon we used was just $35 off. We had to call for a service call because we wanted to get the fan fixed and we forgot what a service call costs. It was around $75 or $80 because they could not fix it; there were cracks in the furnace which made it illegal to replace the motor and the fan, so they took the $35 off that service call. They then took the rest of the price of the service call off the price of the installation and it was great. We had a whole house humidifier put in at the same time and it was about $1300 on that service. We went low-end, we did not go with super high efficiency, we wanted what they could get in really quick.

We had trouble getting companies to come out for our winter furnace check. Booked out way too far. We called Burnsville Heating and Air Conditioning and they were able to set up an appointment within just two days. Kevin Johnson came out on October 4, 2011. He was punctual, professional and very responsive to inquiries. He seemed to do quality work and the price was certainly fair. We would not hesitate recommending this company and Kevin to anyone wanting heating and air conditioning work.

The salesman told me he was super busy and that if he didn't call back in the week or so to call him back. We'll I didn't hear from him nor did I call him back. Customer service is an area for improvement.

Burnsville H & AC promptly got us in (within a few days), promptly performed the work, and was very fairly priced. Highly recommend this provider.

Tony, the sales person who analyzed our needs and submitted an estimate was very pleasant to work with. He came across as both credible and professional. He quantified the all-important rebates and credits available to us and assured us his company would apply for all of them on our behalf. The installation itself went very smoothly. The technical team was on-time and very competent, friendly and efficient. They finished the job in about three hours and cleaned up thoroughly, including disposal of the old furnace.

On time, friendly service tech. Took 2 hours to replace motor. Had to order control board for later installation. Tech broke exhaust vent and had to go to office to replace. Tech did not replace air filters.

They did a good job. I rate them A overall.

They were able to get it done before the end of the year when the credit was set to expire. Two techs showed up within an hour of their estimated arrival time. A third tech showed up after he completed an earlier job. They layed down tarps on the carpet, removed old furnace, installed the new furnace, cleaned up and went through an explanation of the furnace and thermostat. All in all a very pleasant experience and I felt they were very professional.

The repairman came out, checked out my heating and air conditioning unit. Cleaned the system, and checked for carbon monoxide and other emissions. Did the task courteously and efficiently. Explained what he did, and discussed future checkups with me.

They were here.They gave us a good price. They were on time. they did a nice clean up job. they were professional installation. Any questions we had they were there with an answer without hesitation

I had a great technician named Tom. Very friendly and very efficient. He tuned the furnance which will make it more efficient and checked over the central air. I had another company do this exact same thing for me 2 years ago and they wound up trying to sell more "stuff" during the process and and I don't remember them running the same tests that Tom did. So, overall, I give Burnville Heating and Air, and Tom (great guy!) an enthuastic thumbs up and will use them again. Another plus was the price was lower than I expected.

My old air conditioner was not working and I called with the intent that someone would come out and tell me how much to replace it and or possibly fix it. They ended up sending a repair guy who refilled it and said that he would have a sales guy contact me. The sales guy came by and was the kind of guy who I could tell was really trying to meet my needs and not sell me extra stuff that I probably did not need. I explained to him our misunderstanding about sending a repair guy versus a sales guy and he removed the service visit fee from my total. On the next day, they managed to get their crew out and they worked like a finely tuned machine. Everyone knew what they needed to do and when. At one point there were 5 or 6 guys working on my install. They were all friendly and a pleasure to have working in my home. They also were conscientious about making tracks on the floors and took care to take shoes off or lay down a covering.

Our A/C went out at the beginning of the July 4 Holiday. Very hot and humid weekend! Suffered until Tuesday morning to call for help. Burnsville H & AC responded quickly. Jeremy arrived within the hour. Identified the problem (a failed capacitor), replaced it and we were back in comfort again. He was friendly, knowledgeable, answered my questions and gave us good advice. (I don't rate the price because I have no knowledge of what a reasoable price should be.)

A/C stopped working yesterday. We called this morning and a technician came out about an hour later. They were on time, very professional, and offered helpful advice to make sure the problem didn't occur again. Two fuses were blown which was caused by an electrical issue...will need another repair by an electrician at a later date. Wonderful service and will definitely use them again in the future!

Went very well. He arrived on time, was friendly and did a thorough job. Definitely recommend them.

Contacted the company via the internet on a Sunday night. Received a call about 8:30 the next morning. Said repairman woulld be there in early afternoon. Repairman called before coming. He diagnosed the problem promptly and replaced our blower motor.

AWESOME. Good product, quick Saturday install, Great well-mannered crew. I have never had a product install go so smoothly, and I am very picky.

From quotation through job completion, Burnsville Heating has met or exceeded my expectations. They came in with a very competitive price, did not place any pressure on me, and were very communicative when setting up the work and before the work was performed (they called when on the way to their appointments). I had five companies come and give me quotations for the work I wanted performed and Burnsville Heating was the only one that "just felt right". I strongly suggest giving Burnsville Heating the opportunity to quote out any new installation work you need to have done. I am sure they do good repair work as well, but I do not have first hand experience allowing them to do any repair work for me.

So far so good. We are yet to replace the system as we want to shop around a bit. I was impressed by the fast respond time as many other companies couldn't come out for 2 weeks and they were able to come that day. The hourly repair cost seemed reasonable compared to others (abt $95).

They were very responsive and the installation was fine. I was happy with their work.

Able to get appointment same day. This is the second time I have used them (the first time was in Dec 2007 where I was also able to get same day service -after another company told me they couldn't get me an appt for 3 days). Jim called when he was on his way, was very courteous, explained the problem, showed me the bad part and cleaned up after himself. Very happy with the service and would highly recommend them.
