Description of Work: Just had a furnace check up - the tech that came out was great and thorough. I am using them again to install a humidifier.

Description of Work: The HVAC repair person arrived way earlier than my scheduled repair time (& woke me up). He did not thoroughly investigate the leak in my air conditioner unit. All he did was top off the Freon (and charge me for it)...which in the end was not the ultimate issue. The leak was still occurring after he left. He was hesitant to do any "tests" for a leak. He also would not climb the stairs to test the air temp upstairs and had me take the measurement upstairs with his equipment. Would have given the company a lower grade if it were not for the fact that after calling the company they made the repair person return and correctly fix the leak (which was a block in the hose). The company may be fine, but the repairman that was sent was not professional!

Description of Work: Called ahead to say he would be delayed due to length of prior appointment. Very thorough in explaining what he was doing and why. Provided helpful information for increased efficiency through the winter season. Will call again.

Description of Work: Green star maintenance package purchased through Angies List. Fall furnace tune-up completed. AC check to be done in the spring. |Very good service again, this is the third year in a row that I have used Angell-Aire.

I found that their coupons on Angie's List were not as good as their other coupons. Do a quick search to make sure you're getting the best deal.

They were cheaper than the other two contractors who gave me estimates by about $700, and the unit they installed is more energy efficient than either of the ones the other companies recommended. And they just seemed like nice guys all around.

Description of Work: I was very pleased that I had Angell Aire do my A/c tuneup. He went above and beyond what was needed. I should let you know that my A/C is 25 years old, and has been working fine except in the last two years when I started losing my Freon. Luckily, I have a serviceman who knew what he was doing and tried to figure out where the leak was coming from. He took the time to tell me what he did and what to watch for in the future, even though most would try to sell me a new unit (which I know I need). But it wasn't forced upon me at all. I will definitely use them again.

Description of Work: It went well good service call and helpful field staff. The scheduling guy in the Angell Aire office was grouchy. there was a coupon on Angie's list for $79 which I prepaid then I found one for only $49. Ouch! I went with the one first on Angies list because I usually get a better deal there. Learn from my mistake.

Description of Work: They first came out on a discounted (through Angie's List) service call to diagnose our A/C. We have a leak somewhere, but we just bought the house and the unit is only 3 years old, so we are trying to figure out warranty information with it. Angell Aire is not a dealer of that brand, so we will have to have a different company do the repairs to submit the warranty claim. In the meantime, we had them come back to put more coolant in to get it running, which they did right away, without charging another service call fee. Their price for the coolant was the cheapest among 3 places we checked, too.

Description of Work: Came out to check on our humidifier. It did not seem to be working properly. The thermostat had been installed wrong not by them. The problem was fixed. As a Realtor I have used them on a couple different occasions. Will go to them first in the future. Great service!
