The technician called me to let me know he was on his way. When he arrived he introduced himself, was very nice and professional. He took time to explain how the furnace and the humidifier systems worked. Gave me tips on furnace care. Also he wrote information that would help with furnace incase I had questions or needed basic help if was having furnace trouble .

The service was courteous, prompt and thorough. No repairs were needed and the furnace was given a bill of "good health".

Our AC went out over the 4th of July week and after using Angell Aire to replace it, we decided to also replace our furnace so that both pieces of equipment were the same age. I received a quote earlier in the month as part of my AC quote so that was already taken care of. When I called Phil, he remembered me and what we had previously discussed. We scheduled a time and his crew arrived promptly on the day of schedule. They put out tarps to protect my carpet and went to work removing the old unit. The new unit required different intake and ventilation so installation took a few hours as they needed to drill through exterior cement walls for that. They performed the work timely, cleaned up after themselves and everything looks great! The new unit qualifies me for some rebates from my gas and electric company and Angell Aire took care of all of the required paperwork. I HIGHLY recommend Angell Aire - the experience was excellent and I will not hesitate to recommend them to others.

We had a complete Bryant AC/furnace system put in by Angell Aire about a year and a half ago and have been very happy with the system and the dealer. On the 4th of July the AC compressor broke a vane and the compressor was destroyed. The system was sold with a 10 year parts and labor warranty and we wondered how responsive the dealer would be. As soon as Angell Aire became aware of the situation they came out and tested the system. Unfortunately the compressor was shot and the Bryant distributor did not have it in stock so a new compreesor had to be shipped in. Angelll Aire had a truck waiting at the distributor when the shipment arrived and immediately came to our house to install it. It was hot and a lousy situation for us but we were so impressed with how Angell Aire made the best of a bad situation for us. Theri service was as good as their sale.

By early afternoon on the date promised for install, the 2 man team arrived. They laid down tarps to protect my carpet and went right to work. Both guys were very friendly, tidy and FAST! In about an hour and a half I had cool air blowing out of my vents! The new unit qualifies me for some rebates from my electric company. Angell Aire takes care of all of the paperwork for me - all I have to do is kick back and enjoy the cold air. I HIGHLY recommend Angell Aire - the experience was excellent and I will not hesitate to recommend them to others. **Update 9/28/12: I just wanted to add that I'm already seeing savings in my monthly cooling bills from converting to a higher efficiency unit. The contractor from Angell Aire in Burnsville, Minnesota was early for the appointment! His name was Mark Flickinger and he was efficient and courteous. When our air conditioning went out on the hottest day of the summer, this air conditioning company was the only one where I got an actual human voice on the phone with one ring! I was immediately connected to a repair person and an appointment was made. Mark was a skilled service repair person and was done in a very reasonable time. He seemed liked he just truly enjoyed his work, even though the temperature was in the high 90's! I was impressed with this company from start to finish. Getting such a skilled and friendly professional to fix our air conditioner in such a timely manner was just great. I would HIGHLY recommend Angell Aire to anyone! Thanks, Angell Aire!

We had a three-zone heating/cooling system that was on it's last legs (probably original to our 1987 house) and we also wanted to take advantage of the tax credits. Two of the companies we called out for bids suggested taking the zones down to two with our house design, which made sense to us. Angell Aire was one of them. All of the quotes we received were competitive, but we chose Angell Aire due in part to other Angie's List reports and the straight-forwardness of Craig Angell. The Angell Aire crew came on time, finished their job and left it cleaner than when they came. With our new efficient system, we were supposed to notice more even heating/cooling, but we really felt our bedroom and another room or two were significantly cooler than the rest of the house (this was Nov./Dec.) so we eventually called Angell Aire and they sent someone right out. I wish I could remember his name because he was very good. He discovered that during installation a couple of wires had been crossed in the controller box and that there was no heat going to those rooms. He was extremely apologetic and very nice to work with. He tested the system thoroughly to make sure all of the heating was working properly before he left. In the spring, on the first hot day, we tried our air conditioner and it did not seem to be cooling. Once again we called Angell Aire and once again they sent someone right out. Same good technician, I'm happy to report. He discovered that a cap on the unit had not been tightened sufficiently and that enough coolant had leaked out that it did not allow the air conditioner to run. He filled the coolant, tightened the cap, and tested the system thoroughly to make sure the air was working properly before he left. We are currently enjoying the comfort and significantly quieter operation of our new system. Not to mention the significant savings on our monthly bills. Yes, there were a couple of glitches, which I felt I should reveal, but stuff happens, and Angell Aire dealt with them responsively and effectively, showing strength of customer service. Overall very happy with the experience.

My experience was very good. They worked with me to make sure I could get all of the state and utility tax credits. They installed it properly. They even came out after when I had a few questions.

It went ok. The heat pump makes a lot of noise.

I have a two stage furnace and Mark took the time to make sure after he corrected the apparent issue that it would function properly. We settled on the bill while we waited the 12 minutes for the second stage blower to function. Keep in mind it appeared to be fixed at this point. After the 12 minutes had passed, Mark took the time to investigate why it still didn't work to his expectations. So over the next hour, unbilled, after we "thought" it was fixed Mark took the time to do the job right. I don't think many contractors would take the time to make fully sure the problem was solved - but Mark did. It's clear that not only Angell Air's staff is experienced, and qualified - they are detail oriented and will take the time to make sure the work is done the first time - even if they have to wait a period of time to show that it is done working. Although I'm moving to a new home and it won't need a furnace/ac anytime soon - I will make this company my first call for maintenance and repair!

We decided to get our furnace replaced this year in November because of the tax break and it was also old and very inefficient. I started calling, got 2 other quotes and almost went with one of them. We decided to get 1 more that is when we called Angell Aire. Curt was on time had the best quote and could fit us in he felt before the week was done even if he needed to have one of his guys do it on Saturday. He called the next day to inform use that they would do it on Saturday at 8:30 am. The first guy showed up on time saying that more would be more joining him later then started work by putting tarps down. I asked him how long it would take, he said around 4 hours. At different times there were 4-5 guys working to get the furnace in. After they were finished installing the furnace and humidifier they went over how everything works. We are very satisfied with everything Angell Aire did from the quote too the cleanup after they were finished with everything.

We called this company because we woke up to no heat in -9 degree weather. They answer their phone immediately at 7:00 a.m. and were able to help my husband correct the issue we were having with our high efficiency furnace. Thanks to their advice, we did not need service this time. I would call these people in a heartbeat if we need help in the future.

They were very responsive. They were about 10 minutes early. I would highly recommend them. They are clean, take off their shoes when they come in. They go right to work and get the work done quickly. They are very professional, I will use them again and I would highly reccommend them to others.

We were very happy with Angell Aire overall. We just moved to a new house that was in foreclosure. Besides the furnace we had other gas related work that was no big deal for this company. They charged only $75 for that work. The estimate for the entire project was exact and we got a 5% discount for paying with a check. Everything went smoothly, from talking on the phone with the office gal, to the estimate to the install and to the follow up after the city inspection. They were very clean and professional from start to finish. I expect we will hire them again for a new air conditioner and water heated when the time comes.

Exceeded expectations throughout the bid, installation, and followup. During the bid the owner took extra time to recommend solutions for air flow issues we had with original solution that other bidders didn't cover. Professional team arrived on installation day that went out of their way to do the job right including clean up. Ofiice mailed out all rebate forms next day with everything complete except my signature. Price was slightly higher than the low bid but went with it based on other AngiesList comments on Angell Aire. Glad we did and would use again.

The technician was very professional and took the time to explain everything as he was fixing it. Though the furnace is 25+ years old, he did not try agressively to cross sell another unit, parts ect. He was very honest about the expected longevity of the furnace and made reasonable recommendations for replacing it, taking into consideration my budget limitations. I trusted him and would definately have them provide service again in the future.

Outside of some very small issues with punctuality, everything was excellent. Work was done fast. The unit works very well. The clean-up was excellent. Their estimate was well below those of three competitors. I would certainly use them again.
