None of the other Reviews are recent...hmmm?! Well, we ALMOST got taken by these no-accounts. Me not being an HVAC expert by any means, BUT how do you mistake a clean-burning BLUE flame for a YELLOW one???! How do you justify a $3000 heat exchanger repair to prevent carbon monoxide poisoning or a $23000 full system replacement for no problem at all? Watch out, People. Don't be a victim.

Great. I'd had conflicting reports over the past several years from my previous HVAC service people about my furnace. Brett, the DeZiel service pro, fully investigated the furnace and was able to clearly explain its current status in a way I could understand, from the clogged fans to the corroding heat exchanger. The difference from previous company's technicians who seemed to only want to get in and out quickly, was that Brett took photos of the inner workings so he could show me the corroding heat exchanger and took the time to explain things. He showed me how the fan system worked and where years of dirt had built up and was compromising efficiency. He was very straightforward about my options, one of which was to keep the furnace, continue to watch the heat exchanger, which, while corroding, was still intact, and to do a deep clean of the fan system. I decided it was time to replace the 16 year old furnace and Brett walked me though my options, rebates available from the energy companies for new equipment and the Amana two for one (furnace plus A/C) deal available. Since my A/C wasn't any younger than my furnace and had a tendency to attract mouse nests, I opted to replace my entire HVAC system, add a humidifier and have the ducts cleaned. Ed, Andy and Blair spent one day doing all the installation with minimal fuss and mess. They were great at explaining what they were doing and warned us the duct cleaning would be noisy, suggesting we might want to put the cat in a safe, quiet place before they started. The new furnace is wonderful - much quieter than the old one and the house is much more evenly heated. DeZiel even handled all the rebate paperwork for me which will get me nearly $1000 back from Xcel and Centerpoint. i can't say enough about the quality of service from DeZiel - who would think replacing your entire HVAC system would turn out to be a pleasant experience? It was an accident I found them, I picked up a cold call, which I rarely do, when they were offering a discount on fall furnace cleaning and inspection, which I took them up on since I wasn't happy with my previous HVAC service. I am so glad I did.

Brandon arrived early. He, of course, called in advance to make sure that it was OK. He went right to work, and was able to confirm that it was not working and that I was not crazy. He was able to quickly get to the source of the problem and in very little time had it fixed.

Service was excellent! I called yesterday and explained that I was only in town for the next 3 days and would they be able to assist. they scheduled the appointment for today and told me they were running a special as well!. The service man was right on time and wore his and quot;bootiesand quot; so as to not track in dirt. We told him that in addition to the furnace we were wondering if he could look at the softener which had just sprung a leak yesterday. instead of saying, and quot;Oh, no, I wasn't scheduled to do thatand quot;, he just jumped right in and said he would take a look at it. He completed the furnace check and did an inspection to find out that it was not the softener but rather a plugged and cracked condensation pipe from the furnace. He tried to fix is with the material he had in his truck but unfortunately, he did not have the correct size. He then offered to call the office to determine if another person who works part-time could come off hours, but he too was booked up. Although I will still have to call another plumber to fix the pipe, I appreciated all of the work the serviceman did to help us identify the real issue, try to fix it, and try to get someone else. I especially appreciate his attention to service and his super-positive attitude.

The AC and furnace were install in 2006. Almost 7 years later the AC unit stop working. Problems with the compressor and the installation. I called, and they didn't know anything about guarantee and they didn't take responsibility for anything. But, if you paying them, they will come to your house. And if you pay more money, they will try to find the problem that i already know. And probably after that, they will tell you to pay more money to repair. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!! And the lady at the phone needs a customer service training. She doesn't know how to treat costumers

Amazing called Saturday morning at 7:30am tech arrived by 9am the same day.

We're working on a major remodel in a house that needed an all new heating system. Artie came out to look at the project. He had good recommendations and promised they would work with us to get it done right. We had three bids and DeZiel offered the best price, most flexibility and seemed like it would be the easiest to work with. They walked through the entire project with us prior to any installation so we could figure out the best place for the registers, returns and ductwork and make sure it all worked for our floorplan. Jeff, Doug, and Artie did a great job with the installation - everything went forward on schedule and they took some last minute changes we wanted in stride. We were impressed with their knowledge and professionalism. We'd certainly work with them again and appreciate their hard work on our project.

They did a great job fixing my in-floor heat problems. After looking for several weeks, I turned to Mike Deziel and he came out right away and spent the entire day at my house figuring out how this system was wired when it was initially installed because none of it was labeled. He had a helper with him too, but only billed me for one person's man hours. He discovered one of the heating elements contactors were bad so would need to replace the board. He was able to get it to operate at 50% until the part arrived.The next trip out here and he replaced the bad component and got me up and running at 100% and the final bill was exactly what he said it would be. I don't think he made much money on this project, but he definately will get future business from me because of how responsive he was and resonable about the billing.

I talked with Mike and was told they could help me. Service was promptly scheduled and they showed up right on time! Jeff the installer was very professional and worked very hard! He not only had all the right parts in his truck, he totally cleaned up after himself. Jeff vented my two bathrooms through the roof as code requires. The price is good for the large amount of work it took. The roof vents look great, and the work is of the highest quality! I would call them again without any hesitation!

I am a real estate agent and my client had an old gravity furnace. I told him it needed to be inspected before putting it on the market. My client had Centerpoint out to inspect it, and it failed. The client decided to replace the furnace. I got an estimate from Mike DeZiel and one other furnace company. Mike's estimate was lower. Since I had worked with Mike before, and knew his work, I felt comfortable referring him to my client. Mike worked with the asbestos abatement company to coordinate the work involved. It took about a week, just as Mike said it would. My client was very happy with the service and the product, as was I. Mike has no hidden charges. His estimate includes everything, and there are no surprises. Mike is very easy to work with. I would definitely work with Mike again.

Mike had installed a new furnace for the previous owners of a house we purchased. Contacted him for an estimate when we wanted other work done. He was easy to deal with and his prices were very good. Everything was done on schedule at the estimated price. The installers were neat and did a good job. Haven't had any issues or concerns since the work was done. We have continued to use DeZiel for routine maintenance.

Excellent; no complaints whatsoever. They did a wonderful job, they were on time, and stayed within the budget.

The installers were on time and the job was done within 6 hours. The install is neat and looks good. They protected the floor and were very courteous. The basement was cleaner when they left. They returned 15 minutes after they departed to verify that my hot water heater was running.

The salesmen who came was very friendly but was not certain in what would be needed in the replacement of the furnace. So he took pictures and measurements and took them back to the company to make a qoute. He then emailed me a somewhat incomplete qoute. I was not sure of what exact furnace they said they would install and when they told me, it could have been any number of models, I didn't have details on warranties or what exactly I was hiring them and paying them to do. But overall, the deciding factor of why I didn't hire them was because of the product the company uses did not necessarily specialize or even focus on home heating the are more industrial, and I have no idea how stable the distributer support is within the Twin Cities, and the twin cities was outside of the main service area of that company.

He was able to come out the same day I called. He was very friendly. He was honest, he didn't try to sell us something we didn't need. He stuck to the repair. It's been working fine since.

Couldn't have been better. Estimator on time, personable and competent, estimate on the spot. Subsequent conversation with owner, Mike DeZiel, led to additions (new humidifier, special filter box), price still best I received. Installers arrived as scheduled, and we very caring and careful about how and what they did with a minimum disruption. Got heat running same day. A/C installed next day. All work done cleanly and expeditiously.

They showed up when they said they would and worked hard. There was a problem after install with the condensation drainage tubes and Mike came out personally right away to resolve the problem. We had some confusion on the electric contractor. The electric wasn't included in the quote (there wasn't much detail to the quote) and so I was surprised to have that come it at almost $900. I also expected Dezeil to be interfacing with the electrical contractor but I ended up doing most of it on my own and paid them separately. When the inspector came out, he called the work in "lazy" because he didn't label anything in the panel.

MIKE DID AN OUTSTANDING JOB. VERY STRAIGHTFORWARD ESTIMATE PROCESS WITHOUT NICKEL AND DIMING EVERYTHING LIKE OTHER ESTIMATES I RECEIVED. CLEAN, THOROUGH AND FRIENDLY.

DISCOVERED THAT FURNACE BLOWER FAN HAD SEIZED UP. CONSIDERING THE AGE OF THE UNIT, I THOUGHT IT LIKELY THAT IT WOULD NEED REPLACEMENT. IDENTIFIED DEZIEL HEATING AND AIR VIA ANGIE'S LIST AS THE CLOSEST VENDOR TO US WITH PREVIOUS POSITIVE REPORTS. CALLED TO HAVE THEM INSPECT THE UNIT, AND THEY RESPONDED ALMOST IMMEDIATELY BY RETURNING MY CALL AND THEN INSPECTING MY FURNACE THE SAME MORNING. MIKE ADVISED THAT THE BLOWER WAS INDEED LOCKED UP AND COULD BE REPLACED, BUT THE HEAT EXCHANGER IN MY FURNACE WAS ADDITIONALLY CRACKED AND THE ENTIRE UNIT SHOULD BE REPLACED. HE QUOTED ME A FLAT PRICE RIGHT ON THE SPOT AND INDICATED HE COULD DO THE JOB THE NEXT DAY. FURNACE INSTALLED AS PROMISED THE FOLLOWING DAY. VERY PROFESSIONAL, VERY FRIENDLY, VERY EFFICIENT AND HAS FOLLOWED UP SINCE TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WAS TO OUR SATISFACTION. WILL USE DEZIEL AGAIN NEXT YEAR TO REPLACE AC UNIT AND WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ANYONE ELSE.

MIKE WAS EXTREMELY RESPONSIVE. HE FIXED A LONG TERM PROBLEM THAT WAS NOT FIXED BY TWO OTHER HVAC COMPANIES. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
