Description of Work: When I called to set up an appointment because I thought we had a squirrel or some other critter (we thought the noise we heard was something larger than a mouse)in the ceiling above our family room I asked if they had a camera on a cable to access some areas. I was told they had a "scope" and I would need to schedule for the next day because it wasn't available today. When the 'technician' arrived she didn't have the 'scope' as someone else had gotten to it before her. After listening to our story and seeing the area where we heard noises, she proceeded to access the attic leaving black smudges on the access panel. Then, she went to the attic access on another level and went into the attic. Again, there were black smudges on the access panel plus a small pile of insulation on the floor. Also, a wet spot on the carpet from snow melting off her ladder. No comments about the mess let alone an offer to clean it up. Where was the tarp that should have been put down? After looking around the foundation on the outside and going on the garage roof, she spent time in her truck preparing an itemized list of things/services to be done for various amounts that totaled $970. Most, if not all these items are not necessary. She said she thought bats could get in the attic through an area where our garage roof met the eaves of the house. And the noise we heard was probably a bat or bats that were hibernating for the winter that had been moving for one reason or another. Yet, when she looked in the attic, she saw no sign of any bats, or anything else for that matter. She never looked in our crawl space although I showed her the access. It is easier access than the attic. And, she didn't look at the foundation in the garage where the house and the garage share a wall. I think this company's business plan is to take advantage of people who are calling because of a pest intrusion. Because you have called about a problem, they try to take advantage by trying to sell all kinds of services that are probably not needed. In our case, the source of the noise that prompted our call was not located. So, I am out $230 with no resolution to the problem.

Description of Work: Technician identified that the damage was a mouse. He advised on preventative options and placed poison in strategic locations. No mouse activity was noted subsequent to that.

Description of Work: I have mice - they checked entire outside and roof of house and garage for access areas and baited those areas. When they were inspecting the house tech discovered bats and yellow jackets. Showed me where critters were getting into house and gave detailed verbal and written plan to eradicate said varmints. Politely and patiently answered my numerous questions. I felt confident with his assessment because the tech was knowlegeable and professional. I plan on having him do everything on the suggested to-do list because I feel he can fix my problems. There was no pressure to accept any suggestions he had but each thing was explained thoroughly. I dont have anything to compare the price to but didnt feel it was out of line.

Description of Work: Set traps for squirrels/racoons that were knocking down my soffits. They monitored the baited traps daily. My only complaint is that they charge 80 dollars per animal caught, whether it is the target or just a neighborhood wanderer attracted to the free food. It mounts up quickly and you don't know the cost ahead of time.

Description of Work: Removed bees and nest from vent on roof

Description of Work: We had a small animal camp out in a fan vent in our lower level bathroom - we thought it was a chipmunk. The technician arrived promptly and flushed the critter out - it was a vole. He screened off our outer vent that had been broken. He then removed the vole nest for us. At our request, he did an audit of our exterior and made several recommendations, three of which we asked him to pursue. He returned as agreed within two weeks and completed the screeing of a garage vent,a dryer vent, and also caulked a gap between two eaves that he thought could be a problem. That last one was a great call, because even though I had not mentioned it to him, we had been getting wasps in our upstairs bathroom each fall - not this year! The technician was very knowledgeable and friendly, and his work was timely and well done. We highly recommend.
