+ 2 moreThey have great crews, all the necessary equipment, and customer service I demand in a vendor for a community I manage. They communicate ahead of time in anticipation of large snow falls, and keep me informed whenever they are on site and what they are doing. What I love most about Showcase is how much they care about the properties they serve and the way they look out for the client's best interests. When the City of Blaine changed their salt application method it did a number on all the grass my master planned community maintained. Almost all the boulevard grass turned yellow and died. Showcase didn't just replace the grass every year, they looked for and found a more salt resistance seed that will help reduce the costs to the Association over time.
Description of Work: I've worked with Showcase Landscape since 2008 and continue to work with them today both as a property manager and as an individual homeowner. They serviced the landscape and irrigation contracts for multiple associations within a large master planned community. I've also hired Showcase to do work on my private home since my experience with them has been so good. I had them plant trees, add a retaining wall, and redo the landscaping on the front of my home.

Any problem (and there will be little issues as in any business) they correct them immediately and call you back to make sure it has been taken care of to your expectations.

When I started to notice weed growth on the periphery of my lawn in both front and back, I called this to the attention of the service agent during one of the regular application visits and he told me of other applications that could be tried for rest of 2016 season. This was done and I believe weeds started to die off. Am willing to stay with Showcase for another season to see what happens, but I did not pay in advance.

Description of Work: I have used Showcase Landscape (new name as of last year) for approximately 12 years to treat and fertilize my lawn and to do some landscaping. I have found them to be very responsive to my concerns regarding lawn care. I am not a easy person to please when it comes to lawn care. If it is not done to my satisfaction, I am quick to call to say come do it again. I have never had to make that request of them. They conduct an analysis of my soil and then explain what needs to be done to it and why. I had a fungus last year in my yard that I did not know how to get rid of, They came out and took some samples and told me exactly what i needed to do to get rid of the fungus. I did as they requested and the fungus went away. I needed a couple of trees replaced as a result of storm damage and they did an excellent job of selecting the right trees and replacing them.

Description of Work: I paid a full year payment for lawn service from Lindsay's Lawncare Service. Due to some issues, Natural Green took over the service for this year. Problems started with the first fertilization for the year. The service was very late due to Natural Green and Lindsay working out the details for the 2015 growing season. Since the first fertilization was late, we actually got the late spring fertilizer mix which appears to not have included nitrogen. As a result, my lawn was beginning to show yellow patches. They included nitrogen in the latest service so the yellow patches should disappear. The reason given for the low nitrogen content in the lawn was given as too much rain. I am not an expert on lawn care so maybe it was a too much rain issue though I am inclined to think it was the result of missing the spring fertilization. Because of service for my self and for my two neighbors who also use this service, I feel the service has been unprofessional.

+ 0 moreThis company took over customers from the company that installed my irrigation system several years ago. They have done some repairs and blow outs for me in the past few years. This month I called for a repair, but they did not get back to me. When I called again, they were unable to answer questions or schedule repairs, but promised to call back the next day. It was several days before this return call. Instead of scheduling my repair, they insisted that they would only do the repair if they could do the blow out at the same time. It would have to wait 9 days because they were so busy, and could not be Friday afternoon, which worked for me, because they were not working Friday afternoon. If they are so busy they can't schedule repair appointments, why are they taking off Friday afternoons? I explained that, with the warm weather, I might need my irrigation on past mid-October, but wanted the repair sooner. They insisted that the blow out must be done in October, and at the same time as the repair. This attitude is completely unacceptable to me. It is my lawn, my irrigation system, my need for repair, my time, and most of all my money. I am now calling other irrigation services.

+ -1 morePOOR CUSTOMER SERVICE We asked the company to notify us when they were coming to treat our lawn since we were planning to seed some areas and needed to mark those areas off so they wouldn't be treated. They ended up doing a treatment without notifying use, thereby delaying our plan to seed. I called and left a message and e-mailed the sales representative I originally spoke with about this issue and never heard back. Upon calling the company 2 weeks later, they indicated he no longer worked for the company and they were not following up on communications to him. At that point, I asked about their refund policy since I prepaid, and was told that someone would call me back. Two weeks later I had to call them again as no one called me back. I asked them to send me a refund ASAP. I know there are better lawn services to work with. Working with Natural Green was not a good experience.
