The electricians that showed up at my house were nice and even took the time to explain to me what they were doing if I looked confused or if there was something that I needed to be aware of. Great experience for a first time homebuyer.

Great service inside and out. I wasn't able to take advantage of some of the plans or service offering, at this time. But liked knowing what my options were at the time of service. They brought a lot to the table which was important to me.

Randys Electric took advantage of my elderly mother! My mother just spent 5 weeks in the hospital on life support. When she was released and arrived home she was experiencing problems with her electricity in her kitchen and bathroom the lights were flickering and then the power went out. She called and scheduled an electrician with Randys electric to come out and fix the problem. When the electrician arrived the next day he started scaring the hell out of her telling her it could be a major problem and cost as much as $18,000 to rewire her entire condo (Its 1 level and 950 square feet). He also said the problem could be the circuit breaker panel that needed to be replaced and that would cost her $14,000. He then said that if he performed a circuit restoration and replaced 4 power outlets, replaced 2 other power outlets in kitchen with GFCI outlets, replaced the 2 light switches in the bathroom, replaced the chandelier in the dining room with a led recessed light and replaced the 2 fluorescent tube light fixtures in the kitchen with two 2x2 led light panels. He said he was confident it would fix her problem. He then told her that it would only cost her $3,300 to do (Made it sound like a bargain after the other 2 prices he gave her). She then said she cannot afford that and he told her not to worry because they have a 1-year interest-free financing plan. She was not happy but felt it was the cheapest option of the options he gave her so she reluctantly agreed to do it. He spent 5-6 hours there and he left. 2 days later her lights began to flicker and the power in the kitchen and bathroom went out again. When she told me what happened I called Randys irate! The lady on the phone took my info and said she would have the manager call me. 2 hours later I get a call from the electrician trying to convince me he did not screw over my mother. I told him to have his manager call me. Needless to say, no one has tried to call me since. We called another electrician contractor (no way we were calling Randys again). They arrived within 2 hours. When he got there I explained to him the entire situation and he went to the circuit breaker panel. Within 5 minutes he said your problem is the outside power coming into her condo. He went outside and within another 5 minutes found that a dual 100 amp breaker was the problem. He was there for around an hour and charged less than $150 to fix the problem once and for all. I then showed him the work Randys did and asked him how much they would charge. He said about $700-800 total, not $3,300. I also asked him what they would charge if she needed a new circuit breaker panel and he said $1,200 at the most, not $14,000 like Randys quoted. He said in all his years he has never seen someone get it so wrong. I question if the guy from Randys is even an electrician. Where did he get his license? A crackerjack box?? Randys electric is by far the worst and the most cold-hearted company I have ever heard of. The electrician (that i

The men not only fixed the problem, but labels my circuit breaker box and asked about a missing smoke detector. Very mannered. They were to arrive then 10-12. I received a phone call saying it would be closer to 12 so if I had some errands to run, I wouldn't be wasting time waiting. Simply put..customer service and service were excellent.
