Great! Quick work and great communication!

Wonderful! They were fast to respond to my inquiry, fast for scheduling appointment too. Day of appointment, they were able to come out early but called ahead to see if it was OK. Scott, the electrician was onsite for about an hour-he was really efficient! He made sure everything was working as we wanted before he left. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. We feel the price paid was very fair for the great work. I've already recommended this company to a family member and won't hesitate to recommend them to all.

Don't be fooled by the "request a quote" button here. Randy's electric will not give you a quote on work over the phone or by email. They insist on charging you $59 to come visit and then they will tell you how much the job will be. The phone is answered 24/7 but not by people who are empowered to give you any answers that will help you figure out how much the job might cost. And if you ask for someone who might be able to figure out how much something will cost to give you a call back, they stifle a laugh. They might do a good job. They might charge a fair price. But I'll never know since they won't tell you even a range of what a job might cost.

Switched electricians because our last experience was so poor. Experience with Randy's couldn't have been better. Able to speak to a human on the phone, who scheduled an appointment for the same week without having to call me back. Received a confirmation all and email with Grant's photo, so I would recognize who was coming to my home. Arrived on time in a marked truck and in a uniform with name tag (apprentice, too). Very friendly and worked fast. Received my receipt and a survey request immediately after they left.

Not good! You have a hole cut in your sheet rock and the electrician tells you it’s going to cost $925 for five feet of wire, a junction box and a $50 default breaker. Then he tells you he could just tape it up but he would not be responsible if there was an issue later. I gave the go ahead reluctantly because it seemed out of line and later checked with a electrician friend from northern MN and he said the cost was more than double the work done. I also heard the same from another electrician two days later and also from the inspector from the city. Someone from Randy’s called me back after I complained and said they charge more than other electricians because they have someone answering phones 24 hours a day. Never would I call them again! Can’t imagine what they would charge a little older lady living alone.

Guy found the reason for the fail and confirmed that the wiring was okay but that the ceiling plate had bent when the chandelier dropped. Guy and Mike spent a lot of time running around to find just the right kind of screw to insure it wouldn't happen again and actually bought paint to make it match the chain! For all the time and effort they spent I thought the price was extremely reasonable. Randy's Electric is my new go-to electrician!

My understanding was I was getting a quote for outdoor garage light installed. I was charged $60.00 for quote, which was shown to me on a screen but never emailed to me. Later I requested the quote be sent to me and I have NOT received it. Worse, I filled out an email survey about my experience and was told to call the listed phone number. I called and a very rude, unprofessional woman answered. She refused multiple times to hear my concerns and have someone get back to me. She repeated that I had to fill out online forms first before anyone could speak to me. I told her I just filled out the survey I received and it directed me to CALL their number to address my experience. She rudely continued to repeat that an online form had to be filled out. I said ok, then she said,”Which online form are you going to fill out?” I got upset and said I didn’t know what form she’s talking about & she hung up on me. Nobody has reached out to me since! No email or phone message, and still no quote in writing for the $60 I paid.

One outlet's GFI was failing and causing other outlets and the stove to not function. What we appreciated was the quick response in the evening, when other electricians were closed. Ty, the electrician who came was very nice and efficient in his assessment of the problem. Amanda, who was answering the phone was also very friendly and efficient in helping me. We are pleased with the service.

I was able to call the company and get on their "wait list" for the day. Luckily I got a call and they were able to come out and install a GFCI outlet in the same day. They were in and out in 20 mins. Would absolutely hire them again.

My understanding was I was receiving a free quote today. Instead, I was charged $60.00 for the quote. Afterward, I received an email asking how it went. I rated it poorly and was immediately asked to call a number to let them know my experience so they could make it better- that’s what the email says. Upon calling the given number( Randy’s Electric) the woman answering was extremely rude and unprofessional. She refused to listen to my experience & repeated that I needed to fill out an online form before anyone could listen to me. She kept asking me which form I had filled out. I told her I didn’t know what form she’s talking about. I asked if she could note my experience and have someone call me back & I was just following the prompts from the email I received from Randy’s Electric. She told me I had to fill out an unspecified form and only then could someone listen to me. I told her which form am I supposed to use & she hung up on me. Nobody has contacted me since.

Totally professional from beginning to end. Arrived on time, worked efficiently to get the jobs done as quickly as possible. Very pleasant demeanor and made sure to clean up after the work was done. Not cheap, but worth the price. Absolutely recommend these folks.

Richard was punctual, professional and pleasant and did all the work right away during what I had thought would be only a visit to assess the situation. He helped me decide what light fixtures to purchase and was incredibly efficient, even skipping his own lunch break!

I have been using Randy's Electric for over ten years, first in a commercial environment and now personally. They are not the cheapest contractors out there, but in my opinion they are the best by far! Grant F. was our electrician and he went above and beyond for us. We had a huge job to do and he did it all in an exemplary manner. I was truly impressed with his work. I even had occasion to overhear a situation where he could have taken a shortcut and we would never have noticed or cared, but his superior work ethic would not allow it. In our day and age that is priceless! I highly recommend Randy's electric and especially Grant F!

Because of work we did on the home previously, it was necessary to get professional help. The previous wiring had been cut and buried behind a new door installation as well as the previous chime removed. This required new wiring to be strung. It got to be more difficult than anticipated, however Randy's Electric and Mike the tech stuck to their bid. This was much appreciated.

WAY overpriced quote ($3.5k) for the outdoor outlet installation!!! I asked for a ball-park estimate on the phone but it's their policy not to provide one. Instead they downplayed the work and cost and I received a VERY different story from the electrician when he arrived, leading to the $3.5k estimate. He said the schedulers are not electricians and don't know enough, but they should know some basics about outlet installation and other projects to speak to the complexity. The 3-way switch replacement "nice to have" was botched as he replaced a lighted switch with an unlit one. Now I have no outlet, have to replace the 3-way switch myself and am out $300 for the visit and work done.

Great! Scott identified the issue and replaced the switch. Very efficient! Price did seem high for replacing a dimmer switch; however, I am glad it wasn't anything more involved.
