Randy's Electric

It went very well. I've used him before and he is always extremely friendly and pleasant to work with. He even will cover his shoes when he comes in the house! He is very courteous and the quality of work he provides is great. I would recommend him to others.

Everything went as planned. We have used Randy’s many times in the past. I guess that speaks for itself. They are friendly, professional, no surprises as they tell you exact cost before proceeding with any work, Joe was right on time and worked very efficiently.

Amanda called to confirm when my appointment was. Scott called to confirm when they would be here. Scott and Sean arrived and were very professional and polite. They figured out the issue with our wall oven and replaced a breaker. Will definitely call again if needed!

He was very professional and gave quotes as different options to help break it down how we wanted to prioritize. He was prompt, friendly, and cleaned up after he was done. The entire experience with Randy's Electric was excellent. The electrician assessed the situation and provide three different solutions at different price points. The work was done the same day. I couldn't be more happy with the results. They are a top notch company.

Perfectly - quick diagnosis and quick repair.

Dan and Liz spent about 15 minutes disconnecting the fan and then capping the connection. It was quick and they did not leave any mess.

Joel the electrician that came to the house was very polite he was on time. He gave me the estimate and I was overwhelmed because it seemed like a lot of money. The estimate was 3663$ to do the work. I asked him what he would do and he didn’t say too much. I agreed to the work. He stayed all day to complete it and a second man came after Joel took a second lunch break who didn’t do as much as Joel did “Mike” I had bought a light fixture to place outside my garage door. I asked Joel how much the light fixture would be and he said $100.00 but on my Bill it was 217$ so they charged 117$ to take the old fixture down. They charged 288 dollars to come and give an estimate, I had had a conversation on the phone with a lady at Randy’s before and she had told me they charged $80.00 to come out. They charged me 241$ for the 30-60 Amp 240 v circuit which included a new breaker, new wire, new overload copper conductors and new copper wiring. They charged me $288 to put up a new range hood, $116 for for a dedicated circuit, $277 for permit processing and inspection the Angie’s list deal was worded weirdly - you $125 for $150 dollar charge which means you get $25.00 off which they could have stated clearly in the first place. After doing some research I understand that I was charged basically 2x the going rate for their services- because cost of supplies would be about $500.00 and an electrician would be about $100.00 an hour - Not sure if Mike wasn’t an apprentice and he didn’t come til late in the day. Joel took an hour lunch break so if he was their for about 8 hours and Mike for 4 that would be about $1200 for labor plus some secretarial fees for processing the inspection. My complaint is the cost- They don’t give an hourly estimate so they inflate the price by charging for each job a larger amount than it should be. My advice to anyone looking for an electrician would be to pass on anyone who can’t give you an idea of cost on the phone. I had written a review for Joel and Mike the young electricians- they seemed like nice young men but the company they work for is awful. I am rewriting my review and raising the score to a D for punctuality - I am waiting on the inspection.

Everything went great. The crew that came out was friendly, and they even made friends with our dogs. I would definitely hire again.

Smoothly. Communications were plenty, and just fine. The job was done in a half hour or so. My complaint is with the price--over $600! Seems that their flat rates are based on worst cases, while mine was very simple.

They called and came early which was great. They were very clean and helpful at explaining everything.

The electrician and assistant arrived promptly and installed the additional electric circuit in the kitchen as requested.
