The air conditioner now works better than it did before!. Mike was professional, he clearly explained every step he took, and he was extremely thorough. We would definitely hire Marsh Heating and Air Conditioning again.

Gordy provided estimate by examining the entire house, heating system, and cooling system. He measured rooms, checked window sizes, and number of supply & return ducts. He told me how much more space would be needed for the outside condenser so we could clear space in the garden before any work started. (Another company gave an estimate for an identical unit by never looking at the old condenser, asking questions, or taking any measurements). The Marsh estimate was $700 lower and including a discount for paying by check instead of credit card. (The other company did not offer a cash/check discount.) The work was scheduled 3 days following accepting the Marsh bid during the hottest week in July. The work was performed by Dave and took about 6-7 hours by himself with about an hour of assistance from Gordy with some of the heavy lifting. Dave removed all of the old A/C - coil, tubing, and condenser. The new A/C was installed and checked. The work areas both inside and out were left spotlessly clean. No garden plants were damaged in a tight location. All manuals were left with me. Both Gordy and Dave explained or showed maintenance procedures I could perform to keep the system operating. All questions were answered to my satisfaction. Marsh did a great job and left no trace other than a cool house.

Furnace stopped working over the weekend. Marsh was the most reasonable of a appointment fee (approximately $122 for first hour - 1/2 drive time and 1/2 diagnosis and then $25 per 15 minutes afterwards, plus parts). I called them on Monday afternoon and they were able to arrive on Tuesday, late morning. They called about a half an hour before the tech arrived -- and he arrived on time. While they charge for a 1/2 hour diagnosis, he found the problem in less than 10 minutes, saving me time on labor. Jesse was curteous, put protective coverings on his boots while in the house (Thank you!) and was gone in a flash, leaving a smooth runing furnace! My furnace was 23 years old, so I'm well aware that it needs to be replaced. Other companies have really pushed me to replace it, without wanting to concentrate on fixing a problem or doing regular maintenance, so it was refreshing to not have a high-pressure sales pitch from the tech. He recommended different filters than what I was using (3M Filtrete filters) so they weren't so taxing on the furnace. Overall, it was a great experience! I'm so pleased with the work, I'll be requesting a quote from Marsh for a new furnace when the time comes and will definitely consider them for repairs and work going forward! Everyone I dealt with, from the tech, to the scheduling call center to the person who called to let me know the tech was on his way was polite and professional.

When we called Marsh Heating and discussed the problem a representative offered to come out and assess the situation for no charge. He came a few days later, removed some debris from the pipe/chimney stack area and suggested enlarging the exhaust on the water heater. A service man came the following week and replaced the out take exhaust. He also replaced the furnace exhaust pipes since they were older. This resolved the problem. We have used Marsh Heating several times. They give good service and explain things clearly.

I noticed a loud humming noise coming from the furnace room lasting for a couple of minutes followed by complete silence and no air circulating. It was a Friday morning and very hot. Surprisingly, a tech came out that afternoon. He replaced a leaking capacitor, hoping that would be all that was necessary. Motor would startup but not run very long. They were able to have the motor replaced under warranty, even though the make of our furnace is not one they handle. My only cost was for labor. While making sure that the new motor was running and not shutting down over time, the tech checked and cleaned the outside AC compressor, and added some additional coolant at no charge. I was very impressed with the professionalism and integrity of the tech and company. A less honest company would have replaced the motor on the first trip and not work to have it replaced under warranty.

I can't say enough about them. It went extremely well. They were right on the penny on the estimates. They were totally professional and worked with us to get the appropriate rebates available to us.

They performed the entire job expertly, professionally, on time, and passed all inspections with flying colors. Their warranty is extremely good (5 years parts AND labor), because it includes labor which is the expensive part. About two years after installation, the air conditioning compressor developed a problem with a small but important part, so they came out and replaced it for absolutely no cost and it was easy to get them to make this repair. During a remodel job I had a sales rep come out to bid on relocating an HVAC duct, but he actually gave me advice on how I could do it myself to save money. Very honest company.

We were very pleased from start to finish. They helped us select a system, that should accommodate our needs for some time to come. The installation was professional and clean, and we are thrilled with the system.

Marsh has left me feeling like a very satisfied customer. I have been a long time user of this company because they care about their customers and provide them with good services. I will continue to give them my business in the future. I can not remember what I paid for the services rendered, but it was very reasonable.

They were really good. They were here when they said they would be and they did a very good job. They cleaned up every day after they completed their work and they included me in the process by asking questions about the installation. It was a great experience.

We had them out on an emergency service call since our computer server room unit was not working. They arrived promptly and found the issue in short order. They found a blown fuse and they were out for this same thing previously. Since this had occurred before, they performed additional troubleshooting, contacted the manufacturer, and found a very unique circumstance. This happened in the end of July during an extremely hot spell and windy period. What was found was that the mini-split unit's condenser on the roof was in the direct line of the strong winds and that the wind was working against the rotation of the fan to cause the motor to blow the fuse. They helped design a wind shroud and we had no issues through multiple similar weather patterns. This was a great process since this A/C unit is controlling the climate in a very important computer room.

This company was recommended to me based on their integrity and fairness. While the company seems honest and I appreciated the salesman's straightforward approach, the bid was just way too high - almost $1000 higher than the bid we chose. The system offered by Marsh was a slightly more efficient one, but we didn't feel the difference in efficiency was worth the additional cost, especially since we use the system very conservatively.

SERVICE PERSON WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND THOROUGH. COMPANY WAS ABLE TO PROVIDE SERVICE WITHOUT A LONG WAIT TIME. SERVICE PERSON WAS PUNCTUAL AND ANSWERED ALL OUR QUESTIONS.

I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH ABOUT HOW WONDERFUL THEY WERE TO WORK WITH. THEY DID A GOOD JOB ON THE PRE-SALES CONSULTATION BY LISTING OPTIONS AND ASKING WHAT IS IMPORTANT TO ME. THEY HAD GREAT OPTIONS FOR TESTING INDOOR AIR QUALITY AND MADE GREAT RECOMMENDATIONS FROM THERE. THEY WERE ALWAYS PROMPT AND COURTEOUS. THE INSTALLATION WENT WELL AND THEIR POST-SALE FOLLOW UP WAS EXCELLENT AS WELL. I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE THAT IS LOOKING FOR THIS TYPE OF SERVICE.
