Description of Work: We had Home Options organize our master bedroom closet. It was a reach-in closet that was not well organized. We knew the space could be optimized but we didn't want to try to figure out how to do it ourselves. Nor did we want to tear down the materials that were already there. Steve came out and did a bid for us after we originally got a bid from California Closets (for more than twice as much--I don't know how they stay in business). The closet Steve did turned out great. We couldn't be happier. Everything was fantastic but I gave a "B" for punctuality because the day he was scheduled to come I called because he hadn't showed up. It turns out he wrote the wrong date on his calendar. He ended up coming the next day and that was fine with us. He was very apologetic. We plan to use Steve again to organize our other closets as well.

Description of Work: had closet systems installed in 2 reach in closets in the master bedroom as part of generaly master bath/bedroom remodeling. Initial consultation allowed for adequate discussion of closet options and custom design. Installation went without a hitch. very professions, cleaned up after self. I asked him to give me quotes on the foyer and linnen closets and will have back to re-do those two closets too.

Description of Work: We needed a minor repair to an existing closet shelf system - one of the supports broke - so we called Steve. He was very responsive and came within a few days to fix the problem. He didn't charge us because he said the closet system was warrantied for life (but we did not buy the system from him) and relunctantly took a small tip. Ironically, a few days later the entire shelf ripped out of the wall and came crashing to the ground... Called Steve again, who was very apologetic but responsive. Came back in a few days and reinstalled the whole thing - again for free and would not take a tip. And on top of that, he asked to take a look at all our closets and added a few support brackets to one other shelving system. Needless to say, we were super impressed with his responsiveness and integrity. Would certainly recommend him and use him again.

 + -1 moreIF YOU WANT SOMEONE WHO IS THROUGH YET TO THE POINT THEN STEVE IS YOUR GUY. HE GENERATED COMPUTER ANIMATIONS OF WHAT THE CLOSET SYSTEMS WOULD LOOK LIKE. WE CONSULTED TOGETHER AND THEN HE INSTALLED THEM. HE WAS QUICK IN HIS TURNAROUND. WHEN WE PLACED THE ORDER WE DID NOT HAVE TO WAIT LONG TO HAVE THEM INSTALLED. WE ARE VERY HAPPY WITH THE SYSTEMS. WE FEEL CONFIDENT THAT IF SOMETHING WERE TO GO WRONG WITH THEM THAT STEVE WOULD STAND BY HIS WORK AND TAKE CARE OF WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE. MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS THAT SOMETIMES HE WOULD FORGET THAT I CALLED OR NOT CALL ME BACK FOR A FEW DAYS.

 + -1 moreI WORKED WITH PETER, WHO WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL, ALTHOUGH NOT AS EXPERIENCED (HE ASSUMED BIFOLD DOORS AND HIS ORIGINAL IDEAS WOULD HAVE HAD DRAWERS OPENING INTO THE BYPASS DOORS). PETER AND ANOTHER INSTALLER ACCOMMODATED AN EARLY MORNING INSTALLATION DUE TO MY WORK SCHEDULE. HE TENDED TO ARRIVE 10-15 MINUTES LATE, WHICH EXPLAINS MY SLIGHT MARK DOWN IN THAT CATEGORY.

HE WAS ABLE TO INSTALL THE CLOSET THE DAY AFTER THE MATERIALS CAME IN, AND WHEN WE HAD TO CANCEL HE WAS ABLE TO RESCHEDULE IMMEDIATELY. HE WAS WILLING TO COME BACK AND DO THE BASEMENT AT A LATER DATE, AND AS SOON AS WE WERE READY, HE CAME THE NEXT DAY. THE SYSTEMS ARE HIGH QUALITY (REALLY SOLID AND LOOK ELEGANT), AND THE DESIGN HE WORKED UP FOR US ALMOST DOUBLED THE AMOUNT OF TOTAL STORAGE WE HAD, JUST BY EFFICIENT USE OF SPACE! NOT TO MENTION THE PRICE WAS MUCH LOWER THAN OTHER PLACES WE HAD SCOPED OUT!

I HAD SOME WORK DONE BY A VERY WELL KNOWN CLOSET ORGANIZER ABOUT 10 YEARS AGO AND PAID WAY MORE FOR THAT WORK AND I HAD TWICE AS MUCH DONE THIS TIME. STEVE WAS GREAT ABOUT GUIDING ME AND HE PROVIDED 3-D COMPUTER IMAGES THAT REALLY HELPED. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM. TAKE THE TROUBLE TO LEARN A LITTLE ABOUT THE SYSTEM AND YOU CAN COUNT YOUR OWN SHOES!

WE ARE THRILLED WITH IT AND WILL HAVE HIM BACK TO DO A SECOND STORAGE AREA IN 2004. THE PRICE WAS OUTSTANDING, TOO, AND ABOUT A THIRD OF THE OTHER COMPANIES THAT BID FOR THE JOB. FINALLY, STEVE WAS EXTREMELY RESPONSIVE, WHETHER BY PHONE OR BY E-MAIL. IT WAS A TREAT TO WORK WITH THIS COMPANY.
