CHAMPION GARAGE DOORS

Champion identified a crack in my garage door that could cause it to break. I had no idea from previous maintenance from other companies. Also, the repair person fixed the electronic beam so the door would stop popping back up before it would close. It has never worked this well in the 16 years I have had it. Excellent work and service.

Stopped our garage door from constantly reversing, tuned it up and did preventive maintenance, all for the coupon price of $39.95. One does not get service finer than this!

Mike did a great job. He is knowledgeable and helpful. He fixed my main issue in the rebalance and pointed out the potential problems which led to the roller replacements.

Sent an email request on Saturday morning, they called back within 5 minutes. Explained what I needed, gave me the price and said it would be no extra charge for Saturday service. Mike, the tech, called a little later to confirm the time frame. He arrived on time and replaced the spring, gave me advice on how to properly maintain, and made me a very satisfied customer. Excellent response time, excellent service, with very friendly staff. Will recommend them highly, and definitely use them in the future.

I first called at 9am and repairs were done by 11:30am. That's some fast service. The initial call was because the torsion spring broke. Mike came and replaced the torsion spring, but also cleaned up/tightened several other areas. We looked at the rollers and on his suggestion I had him replace them as well. He was fast and professional and the service was reasonably priced. I'll definitely use them again should the need arise.

Prices are set so no surprises. Both gentlemen were professional and capable. Opener was installed then checked to ensure proper operation. Central office did the first appointment. Call in the morning to ensure I'd be on site. Piece of cake.

Garage was having difficulties closing and appeared to be labored as it opened and closed. Champion came out on a service and determined the 2nd from the top panel was damaged causing the door to bind causing the issue with closing. Suggested replacement of the door saying it was not immediately necessary. I was shown how to get another year or 2 out of the door but suggested I consider replacing the door and not rely on a "bandaid" repair forever. We just bought the house and did not have money for doors. When it comes time to replace the door I know who to call. A little honesty went a long way in my book!

A great experience. The office staff was flexible and helpful, and very good about communication. This also was true for technician Joel, who did a very thorough job in not only servicing my garage door but in answering all of my questions.

Everything went very smoothly, both the lady on the phone that I scheduled with and the gentleman who did the work were extremely friendly and efficient. No hiccups. Punctual fair-priced, friendly service. Would highly recommend.

Technician was very good at explaining in plain English - would be a wonderful teacher. Plus, he showed me what I need to do myself to help keep the garage door and opener healthy. They didn't show up the first time. That wasn't a good experience as far as scheduling. The work itself was fine.

They were very responsive about setting up a time. The times were limited--didn't start until 9 a.m. They did the tune up, but seemed to use the service call to sell more services--services that we deem unnecessary. After they performed the service, the garage door was leaking grease in 4 spots. I called to report the grease. They blew it off. Before using this provider, I used a different provider several times to do work on my garage doors. Never before did I have grease issues. I will not use this provider again. I am surprised the provider is on Angie's List.

Greased it, worked it over, made sure it was ready for Winter. Good Job and I would get them again.

I appreciated that Champion could send out a tech the following day. I also appreciated that Rob checked out the entire system. It was good to know what components should be watched to prevent more costly repairs later. I also think the cost was a good value. They were lower that other companies posting coupons on Angies list. Overall, very happy and satisfied. I would definitely call Champion again for future issues and would recommend them.

It turned out I needed a new door. About 12 years ago I had an opener and garage door installed by a non-professional. The opener was installed incorrectly and caused a problem with the door. The tech saw right away what happened. He ordered and installed the new door and rehung the opener to the proper height. He was on time and did a great job. Also, he left my gararge neat and clean. I was very pleased and what definitely recommend Champion to anyone.

I had this company out to preform a garage door tune up on one door this past spring. This door has been operating smooth and quite all summer long. I decided to have them out again to do second garage door by purchasing an Angie's List deal. They contacted me immediately and set up a schedule to come out. Serviceman arrived when expected and serviced door. pointed out that rollers were when and recommended that they be replaced although not urgent. I decided to go ahead and add that service since I had done so with first door and was pleased. Service performed was quick and professional and now my second garage door operates as smoothly and quietly as the first.

I purchased this deal over the phone with Angie's List and specifically asked to confirm that this service provider would come to my area. Since I live a ways out I always check on this. Since the answer was yes I purchased the deal. After contacting the company I was told they would not service my area. I do not know how the confusion happened. I was disappointed to not have the deal work out but everyone I spoke with was prompt and courteous.

Rob called ahead of time to predict an ETA window, due to rush hour traffic. Arrived timely. Asked about any known concerns. Checked entire mechanical system, inc spring balance & rollers - even fixed the loose light bulb. Had gasket replaced for $64. Everything went great & I would not hesitate to use this company's services again. Rob was very knowledgeable & pleasant.

I am not recommending this company because I don't feel they do enough to warrant it based on the results. In my own case, my two car garage door was loudly squeaky and I had hope this tune up would alleviate that. It didn't. While the technician did apply some lube to the motor, he made it seem it was all he could do. So, I got out my can of WD 40 and hit every movable connection and no more squeaks.

The technician from Champion called before his arrival and arrived on time. He installed one complete new electric opener system and controls and also did a "tune-up" on two existing doors. He was well versed in his craft and completed the job quickly and professionally - I was very impressed with the completed project. The existing doors' systems were noisy and jerky but after the visit they were very smooth and quiet. I would not hesitate calling Champion any time I needed installation or service work on my garage doors.
