CHAMPION GARAGE DOORS

I purchased the deal through Angie's list to have Champion garage doors come out and tune up my garage door and replace my weather strip seal which was all torn up. The technician was professional, on time and thorough - he pointed out things that he fixed that I had no idea were wrong and gave me advice on painting my garage door which has some rust spots - with no hard sell! i will definitely use them in the future should I need some garage work done.

Champion was very responsive, professional and punctual. Our garage was fixed to our satisfaction.

Very impressed with the level of service. The person that answered my call for the estimate was very friendly and helpful. The repairman, Chris, was very professional and informative about maintenance/repair issues. He caught some major rust issues with a couple of rollers and replaced those. There were no surprises to the cost of anything when we paid the bill and they honored Angie's list deals with no problem whatsoever.

Great service at a very reasonable price. Cost included the new overhead opener unit, 2 remotes, new keypad, ground safety sensor, and the installation of everything. Great price for all of this, and they made it so easy -- now we have a much better and safer garage door/system. Plus fast scheduling and professional service. Highly recommended.

Performed tune-up then recommended replacing rollers which were a considerable added expense. If I delayed would need to pay trip fee for return. Replacement seemed valid though not sure necessary as door had functioned for 12 years already without incident. Went ahead with repairs though felt the special was a ruse to have the replacement rollers put in place.

I had another great experience with Champion Garage Doors. Joel advised me I needed a new door. Chris came out the next day and replaced my old garage door and hardware. The new door looks and works great. My old door was hauled away and my garage was spotless! Thanks again, Champion.

It went great! The appointment was scheduled quickly, which was impressive. They noticed a easy fix to my garage door. They were able to fix it for a fair price. The gentlemen who came out was very knowledgeable and was easy to talk to.

This was our first purchase of an Angie's List Deal. We were disappointed by the quality of the work. The bottom seal was replaced by screwing a new seal onto the bottom of the garage door rather than sliding a replacement seal in the channel, as it was originally installed. The new seal was put on in a zig-zag fashion - it was crooked and left a gap showing light under the door. The new garage door opener was installed and worked, but the quality of the work was really messy. The installer left greasy black handprints on the door and interior white walls and interior door trim of the garage. The wires to the opener and the sensors were run diagonally across the ceiling instead of neatly across the door tracks, making our small finished garage ceiling look like a spider web. There were staples and screws left scattered on the floor and driveway. We didn't contact the provider at the time - just wanted to move on.

Great experience all the way. Began with getting a quote on replacing the door, the rep was able to meet me on Saturday which was a huge plus as I work during the week. The quote came in very competitive so I went with Champion. The door took a couple weeks to come in from the manufacturer. Scheduled the installation the next Friday. The technician was friendly, professional, and worked diligently. Everything came with the door (new door, spring, track, cables, etc). I was really impressed with the care and level of detail the technician took when installing the door. He adjusted the existing opener (couple years old) and made sure everything was correct and clean. New door is quiet and works great. This is the second job I've engaged Champion on and have received nothing but great service. Highly recommend to anyone in need of garage door work.

It went well and it's working fine. The rails were extra. The person that showed up was on time and professional. The product that was installed is high quality. They didn't wait long to come out.

upon scheduling service, i informed receptionist that i would only be available in the afternoon. on the morning of my scheduled service, technician called and said he would arrive between 11am and 1pm. i called back and said i would not be home until after 11:30am. i was home at 11:30 and waited for technician until 2pm. nobody showed up to perform garage door service during that time. i took 4 hours of vacation time that day so i would be home for this scheduled service, which i will not do again. i am out $39 but at least i know who not to call when i need garage door service next time

We ordered a service & tune up from Champion and the tech arrived with in 15 mins of the time requested. After looking at the door and getting everything ready they decided they would be risking more damage to the door than the service would fix so they recommended we do not proceed with replacing the gasket on the bottom of the door. As a gesture of good faith they completed a complementary tune up on the mechanicals of the door. I appreciate their honesty and willingness to not proceed with something that could cause more issues down the road. I will be calling them again for future service.

It was good. He gave me peace of mind it was functioning fine. He did a minor repair in addition to what the deal was. He repaired the seal at bottom of the door. Needed minor adjustment here and there but nothing major. It been a few years since the door was installed so I thought it wouldn't be a bad idea for someone to come out and check it out.

I had purchased a big deal for the service. The experience turned out very good. They came out right away because we couldn't open the garage door. They were very good.

The recommendation was very reasonable - less extensive and costly than we'd expected. Even though we needed a unique part. Work was done as promised and the garage doors function much better. Very pleased. Definitely would use and recommend this provider.

it was very good. in addition to explaining the issues with the garage door, they answered other questions that I had in regards to how the garage door opened and closed.
