CHAMPION GARAGE DOORS

Initially after the service, the garage door performed much better. It was much quieter and had a smoother ride. However, after just a couple of weeks, we found that one of the wires was deliberately wrapped around the moving part of the garage door, and we couldn't get it to close. We were able to finally get it closed, but we will be calling the provider back to fix it.

Sprayed just as much oil on the garage floor as on the track rollers. Smell lasted for days. Stuck company labels on the garage wall without asking to do so.

I was very pleased with the service.

They were unable come out, I was frustrated because I took a vacation day and they never showed, they said they would be here between 11-1 and did not receive a courtesy call and never received a call. I had to call them back to figure out the situation.

It worked out well. They recommended some additional follow-up.

Garage door works fine now. Much smoother and quieter running.

Our garage door needed a little attention after the winter took its toll. I was able to schedule a convenient appointment within a week of my initial call. The technician called within the allotted time and gave me a 2-hour window of arrival. He was punctual and described what he would be looking for. He made adjustments and gave us recommendations for owner maintenance. Very good experience.

Excellent service delivery in a very prompt and courteous manner

Service went very well. Very competent service tech, very friendly.

I came home and found the garage door opener was not working. I called Champion after reading reviews here. The person who answered the telephone was obviously knowledgeable about garage doors, and could identify the problem over the phone. The garage door opener was in the home when I purchased it, and therefore was at least ten years old. I decided to buy a new one (the company did not push this idea, but supported it.) They worked with my schedule to coordinate the time for this work to be done. I also had the door tracks lubricated to help with the squealing noise I had been hearing. He discussed the cause of this squealing, and that the lubrication would not completely solve the problem. The squealing has remained less now, as he stated. The new garage door opener has worked better than the old one ever did, with more range on the remote and better lights.

It didn't go very well. They lost my email address so they couldn't get back to me. I refused to go on with them. They were fine, they weren't rude or anything. I called them and they said, "Sorry, we lost your email, give it to us again." They said to send the email address and they would send the information, I said no. It took about three weeks for somebody to get back to me, they could have contacted me sooner.

I was thinking it would be more work than it really was. But the guy was fine and professional. he educated me on proper maintenance.

It's all fixed and works just fine.

On time, called in the morning with service time, work performed quickly and efficiently and at quoted price.

It was difficult to contact them. The phone number listed rolled to another phone that told me to call the original number-a loop. I then messaged them to ask them to call me and received no response. I eventually called them back and scheduled the appointment. The work done was good and they worked well with my wife to determine and approve some minor additional service. The tech was pleasant and professional.

I initially called Mike at Champion because my garage door kept slipping: it would go up a bit, then down, and finally creak its way up. I think it went up one day while I was at work; my neighbor managed to close it, but I was sure I had closed it. Think it went up by itself. Champion offered a $99 checkup charge and I booked it. Mike came, looked it over and incidentally looked at the invoice for work done by a different company last spring. That was nearly $500 and he said "they didn't do a thing." He explained three different levels of doors and prices, and agreed with my going with the middle range. He wrote up the job, gave me credit for the $99 previously paid, and we set a date. It was agreeably quick. I talked to Mike on Friday and the door went in on the following Monday. The serviceman even took away the old cruddy one. Would recommend Champion highly for efficiency, honesty, friendliness and great service!

It seemed like it was in and out... oiled a few parts, but otherwise not much done.

Scheduling was fine and there were no additional costs. The technician was very good. The job was completed in about half of an hour. Everything went very well.

Arrived on-time. Provided a thorough analysis of current and potential issues. Lubricated tracks and tightened screws, etc. as needed. Very happy with service provided.

I cant tell you the last time i was this impressed with service. If there was a way to rate higher than a 10 i would do so. I called at about 4:45 and asked if service after 5PM was considered emergency rate and i was told yes. He quickly followed up with "whats your issue?" I explained about my daughter coming home to find her garage door off track and he amazingly answered, "well, its still before 5 and i have a guy in the area, whats her address and i'll send him over." Truthfully i was almost speechless at this good old fashioned over and beyond service. 45 minutes later my daughter called to tell me how nice the serviceman was and he had straightened the track, put the wheels back in and made sure everything was working fine! These guys are the only people i will call from now on, and if anybody calls for a recommendation, they will be told my story about Champion!
