CHAMPION GARAGE DOORS

Arrived on time and made suggestions for making the door less noisy which we did at extra cost. Door is quieter, but limited by chain drive.

Called Saturday late afternoon due to a spring breaking on our garage door. They came out next day, within 24 hours, and had the door fixed and working again. Everyone was very nice and helpful.

Arrived on time. Very professional. Answered all my questions.

It went well. He was professional and worked quickly. I would use them again.

It all went very smoothly. Technician communicated well, was punctual, and worked efficiently. Two minor criticisms would be: 1. I still notice a little occasional squeaking when the garage door opens/closes, despite the lubrication performed. 2. I found it inconvenient that they wouldn't give me a time estimate for the appointment until the morning of, when the technician called at 7am.

Showed up on time in the AM for a what they said would be about a 6 hour job. Very friendly. Said he would be done at 3:30 PM. Finished at 3:25 PM. Really nice work. Moved garage door openers that had been installed incorrectly by another service. Did not charge me for the extra work. Doors were upgraded with windows. There used to be gaps around the old doors. Very drafty during the winter. New doors seal around garage opening perfectly. Would use Champion again.

It went well until I got the bill , $149. I had just had my springs replaced by them for $189 which is a major job. This time I was charged $89 for a service call in addition to $60 for the service and labor. I have no problem with the $60. I was not informed about the service call charge which is poor business. $ 89 really? It almost cost as much for a 2 spring replacement job. Thank god I was an Angie's list subscriber so he took off $20 off the total. I am very disappointed.

Provider was very informative and instructional. He suggested ways to maintain the garage door myself and several things to do to avoid future problems. Provider performed multiple tasks while on site and was very willing to let me watch and ask questions.

It was basic service but we are pleased with the results. The door and opener are fairly old, and the tech only noticed one thing that was bad besides the door seal. Just some rust on the track and he recommended to replace it when we replace the door. Straight forward, quick, and efficient.

Champion Garage doors was going to come out on August 12, 2015 to give me a quote for a new double garage door. They told e they would call me first thing in the morning with a time that they would be here. I took a half day of vacation to be at home, and they never called or showed up. Wasted a half day of vacation for a no show.

They were responsive and very easy to work with.

I only have a single garage door. It's not like one of the wide ones, not like the one and a half. I got an insulated one and it includes installation that was $45 or something like that. Then I got the opener done at a different time. It was probably about $800 total. The prices were better than other people, but just by a touch. But the service was great.

This is my second time using Champion and it went great like last time. Previously I had a 2 car garage door install, and this time it was a single car. From the time I called to the time the job was done was less than a week. They came out without me being there, installed the enw door including tracks and springs, disposed of the old door, and called me when it was done. Door looks great.

I made an emergency call on 8/4 at 9:30 a.m. and the installer arrived at 2:45 p.m. The work was done quickly and efficiently and the new opener works beautifully. Chris thoroughly explained what he did and how to operate the new opener. He was kind and courteous and a credit to Champion.

He did his assessment and named the problems right away. He did the tune up, put in the needed parts and now the door works perfectly.

Prompt, thorough explained work to be done and gave tips.

They came within 90 minutes of our call, and quickly fixed our garage door for a fair price. Fast, professional - I see why they get so many great reviews on here!

Work was performed quickly and cleanly and the result was to my satisfaction. The door is now smoother in operation, and the opening between the door bottom and garage floor has a much better seal. I would use them again if needed.

The price was high for what they did but the service was good.

The services were excellent. They were prompt in communicating with me, and showed up on time. I really appreciated the service provider explaining what he was doing while working. He also showed me how I could lubricate my own moving parts in the future.

They were on time, explained everything, took care of the issue right away, and was really helpful.

Great. He realigned the garage door, lubricated the the door, and for an extra $60 dollars replaced the warn rollers and rubber skirt on the bottom of the door. It opens and closes now without that clunk that would make me think that each opening would be it's last.

I called Champion about a non-functioning garage door motor. The receptionist was very pleasant and helpful, and scheduled a technician to come look at the issue the following day. The technician called me prior to his arrival, and also did a good job of keeping me informed of what was going on. I was not home when he arrived, but he was able to diagnose my issue, which turned from a non-functioning garage door motor to a non-functioning motor as well as broken springs. Both needed to be replaced. The technician provided a quote for the work and then proceeded to complete the work in a timely fashion. The work was completed by the time my wife came home from work that day. The technician left all the appropriate paperwork for the new garage door opener as well as contact information in the event that we needed to get in touch with him, or someone from the company. The price was reasonable, and I am very satisfied with the outcome. We have had no issues with the work that was completed. I would contact Champion again for future garage door repairs or issues.
